Love Dr. Hirai and the whole staff! They’ve helped my daughter get over her fear of the dentist after her first peds dentist was a butcher that capped her baby molars without reason OR consent. My daughter had to have one of those awful capped teeth pulled today because her permanent tooth is pushing through. She wasn’t nervous or stressed, no tears. When she was pau, she told me how she «loves Dr Hirai because he doesn’t do any work unless I’m totally comfortable and he really cares about his patients.» (words from my 9 year old)

My son, who never had cavities, suddenly had 6 cavities according to Dr. Hirai. Both the Dr. and the front desk staff confirmed that there were 6 cavities when looking at the x-​rays. Well, as a concerned parent, I got my son looked at by my dentist of 30+ years, and he assured me his teeth looked great, NO cavities. 6 months later, I took my son for his next cleaning and exam at a new dentist… Still NO cavities. I cringe to think about how many unnecessary fillings my daughter must have had done prior to my getting a second opinion for my son. Do your children a favor, when in doubt, get a second opinion.

Wasn’t exactly thrilled with him or his staff growing up. He recommended that I didn’t need braces and it would be a waste of time. Going here was absolutely torture. My parents listened to him instead of me, I claimed I was in severe pain, but because of Dr. Hirai’s recommendations they wouldn’t let me get braces… They finally gave in, every orthodontist I talked with recommended I should get braces (i talked with five orthodontist), and I should pull out teeth. After I notified his receptionist I will not be seeing him, and I would be seeing another dentist, his staff keeps on calling me when will I be coming in… Seriously, I’m not coming back.

Love this dentist… he and his staff was great from the 1st appt we scheduled!
