YUZU-SHIORAMEN. INHAWAII. I DONTHAVETOFLYTOJAPAN!!! YES. PLEASE!!! the first time someone recommended I have yuzu shio ramen was before my last trip to Japan, they recommended afuri. needless to say, I fell in love. they offered it as a tsukemen, which is how I prefer it – I have a thing for cold noodles. we went to afuri almost every day we were in Tokyo hahaa. so, i was super excited to try this place, and it definitely lived up to and surpassed my expectations, which are pretty high for ramen. the broth was amazingly flavorful, and I could tell my just smelling it that it was going to be amazing!!! the meat was white, which made it all the more better for me because I love white meat!!! it was definitely amazing and so flavorfully delicious. they definitely need to stay forever please! the broth was also a little spicy but not too in your face spicy, I’m seriously salivating thinking about it! I do like thicker, more hard Japanese style noodles but it was still delicious in spite of being thin and not super al dente. for all you GF peeps(gluten-free for you non GF peeps), they also do offer gluten free noodles for an extra $ 2.80! but run run run, because Saturday is their last day… but hopefully they stay!!!
