Five years ago, I managed to stumble upon this mom and pop store while waiting for a nearby business to open their doors. I had my twin newborn boys in tow with me. I needed a quick pick me up of can iced coffee and walked in. The owner, Carole, and her mother is absolutely the sweetest and they made the BEST Korean food(most especially the Kim Chee Fried Rice). I went here weekly, true story! Sadly I moved away for 5 years due to a PCS move(we are in the military). I haven’t seen them since… until today. I walked into the shop thinking they wouldn’t remember me… but they did and prepared my usual orders. Turthfully, their food is made with love. I can honestly say that. Please stop in to chat with them or enjoy some really good Korean food with good company!

The food here is made with so much love you can taste it. The family that owns it is so sweet. Some things are a great deal and others not so much, but it’s all very good. Love supporting this lovable shop.

A small mom and pop store located ground floor in building lobby. Happen to find this place by accident, had business to do in building and wanted a small snack. Family run business, elderly man with 2 teenagers helping. You have the usual daily specials for plate lunch, and breakfast bentos. Friendly service with a smile. Three small tables if you choose to eat there but more of a take out food joint. When you walk in, ambiance is very casual, nothing fancy but serves its purpose.

Simply the best spam musbi around. Be sure to stop in here whenever you’re in the area. Friendly, family run business. Good food for breakfast or lunch.

I’m a cheapskate for lunch — hate spending more than $ 5 bucks for lunch. So this is my go-to lunch spot for the most yummy chicken salad or tuna salad sandwich. She makes it herself, not pre-made from Costco. Puts a crisp dark leafy green inside great nutty whole wheat bread, adds my hot sauce and it is my yummy $ 4.25 lunch!!! Love this family owned business — feels like mom is in the kitchen cooking for me.

Had the pork and onion plate one day(Thursday special plate) and it was pretty good. Reasonable pricing and the lady is super nice. Overall, not a bad place to stop by for a snack if you’re in the building and hungry.

BLT!!! All her sandwiches are pretty good. She makes a good veggie avocado one and will customize however you want. I keep forgetting to ask what kind of wheat bread she uses, it’s really good! Sometimes I get it toasted. Her kimbap would be better if she didn’t use spam. It was a little weird, but I still eat it once in a while. This place is better than the place on the 7th floor and her prices are more reasonable. She also sells cigarettes for a decent price. Oh! It’s cash only. She has an ATM machine in there but it’s taxes 2.50. There’s a FHBATM outside by the garage entrance.

Hands down the BEST spam musubi around! I was born and raised here, but I was never a fan of spam musubi. I rarely ever eat the stuff. That is until I started working next door to Annabel’s Snack Shop. One bite and I was hooked. It has been my guilty pleasure that I partake in almost daily. I seriously need to stop myself. She makes the musubi fresh throughout the day, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get one piping hot. I think its the seasoned rice with sesame seed oil that has me hooked. My favorite is the one with egg, my coworker considers himself a purist and will eat the spam only one. Either way, you’re good to go! Seriously, you have to try this! The owner Nancy is really sweet and her whole family helps out at the store. Besides musubi, she does plate lunches, mini bento, sandwiches, bagels, spicy ahi bowls, homemade udon and gyoza/mandoo, pretty much everything. She’s a little pricer than 7 – 11 down the street but everything is fresh, made to order, and you feel good supporting her business.

BF works at Easy Music Center right next door, so he comes here frequently for snacks and lunch. It’s a small convenience store, but has a diverse selection of snacks, candy, drinks, and«real food»(e.g. mandoo kook soo and other Korean food, plate lunches, udon/ramen, donburi, sandwiches). The family who owns it is very nice, and they often bring leftover musubis to the guys in the afternoon. I had a BLT here the other day, and it was delicious — freshly fried bacon, crispy lettuce, fresh tomato on nutty wheat bread!
