This is a nice little place to stop and eat if you like Thai food. Interior looks good and really comfortable. The only one big minus is the service … Needs a little more energy and smiles ;)

We were in the mood for sushi and were happy to find a place in Homestead that 1.) let you order online and 2.) offered delivery! We placed our order online around 6pm and waited about ½ hour before deciding we should call the restaurant to make sure they received our order ($ 31.54) since we never received an email confirmation. We called the restaurant and were told that «something is happening and we aren’t delivering tonight.» We then asked if we could pick up our order and they said yes, it would be ready in 20 minutes, which would be around 6:50pm. We waited about 10 – 15 minutes before leaving then drove to the restaurant which allowed another 15 minutes to prepare our order. We got to Sake Thai & Sushi at 7:20 (per our credit card receipt) and paid for our order. I asked why they were not delivering tonight and I was told that their driver moved out of state so there was a «situation» about deliveries. Not sure why they haven’t replaced their driver and wasn’t offered any additional explanation. I was told to have a seat and that my order would be out in a few minutes. After an additional ½ hour after waiting for my food I finally stood up and went to the hostess stand to ask for my money back — the service and long wait was beyond bad at this point and I was ready to go home. From the time I ordered online to this time had been almost 2 hours. I waited for 5 minutes for the hostess to come back (she had been gone for quite a while at this point) and when she did she (finally) had my order. This was my first time ordering from Sake Thai and Sushi Bar and I must say that I definitely won’t be back. Why did it take 2 hours to make a Mexicano Roll, Fire Cracker Roll and a bowl of Tom Yum Kai soup? It’s sushi… it’s not like you actually have to cook it. Why were we never called to let us know the food we ordered online would never be arriving at our door? When we ordered online we should have AT LEAST received a phone call from the restaurant letting us know that they were not delivering… they received our online order and did nothing! When we finally arrived home to eat we were not at all surprised that the food was mediocre at best — not sure which was worse — our ordering experience or the sushi. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else… this is 2 hours plus out of my life, $ 31.54 and what could have been a good meal that I won’t be getting back. Heed my warning and don’t make the same mistake.

I’ve had take out and eaten in here a few times. I really love it, the service is good and they served us fast. We tried a variety of sushi rolls and each of them were amazing. The fried rice was good but it wasn’t out this world, however, I’ll continue to go for the sushi and atmosphere.

Good atmosphere, good service and decent food with prices a bit high for this restaurant to become a regular in the dining out rotation.
Been trying to find a «go to» Thai restaurant in Homestead and tried Sake Thai based on Unilocal reviews.
The restaurant makes a great impression with it’s classy atmosphere. The service was prompt, courteous, and professional. So far so good.
The menu came and thought the prices were high, but I didn’t care if the food matched in quality. They were pretty good, just not at the prices they were charging. Compare it yourself with offerings from more metro part of the county.
Bottom line for me is this. Sake Thai is a decent restaurant; I just feel like I can get better value elsewhere for the money.

Good food, portions were bit small. When the second time to try the tea it was not all that great they need to also get the bigger straws for the bubble tea

Came here at 7:30pm and it wasn’t too busy. Very cozy set up, they had Halloween decorations on the wall with a flatscreen TV behind the sushi bar. Since I checked in via Unilocal,they offered a complimentary glass of Merlot. Ordered Aged Tofu ($ 5.99) and Tofu Pad Thai ($ 13.99) (I obviously like tofu). Aged Tofu didn’t have any flavor so wouldn’t order that again. Tofu pad Thai was great! Asked for it spicy and they delivered. Both were very large portions and I had plenty to take home. Shout out to the two sushi guys behind the bar– they made pleasant conversation (sorry for the faux pas of sitting at the sushi bar and not ordering sushi!). Would come back again and order a different dish.

The food is excelente never Oset for delivery. They always forget to get the food complete

Food was good but I had almost no chicken in my red curry chicken that cost $ 15.00. They gave me a 10% discount and apologized.

Stopped in while moving my daughter to the greater Miami area. The Unilocal reviews were spot on. The cha cha cha role my daughter chose was one of the best roles I’ve ever had with extraordinary texture and taste. The Albacore mataki was fabulous even if the jalapeños were a bit too strong a compliment for my taste. Our seaweed salad was also excellent and the house red was fine – especially as a gratis check in gift. We’ll be back!

Outstanding food the staff is amazing and there is always something different to try. I’m hooked on the Boba Tea only served on the weekends starting on Friday but well worth the wait. Give it a try!!! Also everything’s I’ve tried has always been fresh tasting and A LOT … Great place

Our favorite sushi spot in Homestead!!! I had the Jade Roll and the Cha Cha Cha Roll. Nice!!! I’m stuffed. Every time I come here I have something different. Food is fresh and the restaurant is clean. We will be back again soon! Nice servers and excellent service (been here numerous times and I have not had a bad service experience)

Living in homestead thier isn’t much around I like to goto. But this sushi is a nice little spot especially for a date after a move in the near by theater.
Is the world’s most amazing sushi? No, but still delicious

One of my favorite Sushi/​Thai places to eat at in homestead and in Miami overall. I eat here about once a week and order for delivery about twice a week. Their food tastes delicious, sushi taste fresh and the customer service is great. Ordering food online is a huge plus and Delivery is very fast too. Highly recommended!

Can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet. Happen to come across this place a few months back on my way to the keys. I was real hungry and in the mood for some Asian cuisine, what I expected was a sub-​par or average at best place but boy was I wrong. This hidden gem is nestled away in homestead about a 40 minute drive from where I live. I now make the drive there 3 times a month just for this place; it is that good. Staff is friendly, place is clean, best of all food is amazing. They have great options to choose from. For those interested in Pan-​Asian or authentic Japanese/​Thai food, you won’t be disappointed.
I have tried almost everything on the menu but some of my top suggestions are: krab cakes (current special), basil sauce, duck curry, pad wood sen, volcano fish, Tom kha gai, tropical roll, tuna and mango roll, spicy tuna salad, tuna tataki, and beauty and the beast roll.

The initial look of the place is inviting, however things go south quickly from there. The music playing on the radio may be appropriate for Miami but not for the rest of the world. The cooking staff kept talking about pussy and using profanity. Their appearance could have been a great deal more professional, this isn’t Taco Bell. I felt like I was in a low rent establishment making an attempt at being a sushi bar. If this was my establishment I would fire everyone except the girl waiting tables. As for the food it was just as good as any sushi place around the area. I will not be coming back.

Great sushi! Some of the best I’ve ever had! Whoever said this place sucks must have gone on an off night because it was amazing!

Delicious food: we had pad Thai, udon noodle soup and spicy chicken, which were all very good. Pad Thai was a little bit too salty, but this didn’t matter a lot as we had some water.
One thing that made me feel annoying was that they charged me for the hot water. I’ve never seen any restaurant that charges the customer for hot water! The cashier lady was somewhat rude, but I’m not sure if it was because her hard-​to-​understand English. Service not quick but just okay.
