Wow what a great place to enjoy deicious food! Great sushi and what’s even better, it’s close to home! I find myself eating there several times a week… it’s addicting. the staff is super cool and the sushi chefs are so talented. I tell them to create a riceless sushi surprise and they impress me every time! cucumber, avocado, and eel… OMG! It just melts in your mouth! can’t wait to leave work cause I’m going there for dinner tonight!

This place will impress even sushi snobs. It’s fresh and the presentation of every dish is really fantastic. I’ve been coming here for two years now and have never been disappointed, not once. Love the tuna and avocado salad with wasabi dressing, and it’s not on the menu but order a Cajun Booty Roll if you like spice. They have a great kids menu, so my seven year old loves to come here. Awesomely good chicken katsu. Crispy, not greasy, it’s wonderful. The salmon terriyaki is another good one. But the presentation and freshness puts this place on a different level from other sushi restaurants. Seriously, it’s really something special. Great date night place. Order some saki, have a few rolls, then walk over and see a movie at Flagship Cinemas.

I have eaten at Miyagi several times over the last couple years and I really want to rate the place another star or two. I would have a year ago, but every time I have been there in the last few months the service has gotten worse and worse.
The last three times I have been there we have been very disappointed by the total lack of efficiency. They have done things like deliver our meals 10 minutes apart, take forever to bring utensils, and various other displays of poor service.
I’m thinking they might have better servers at lunch, all of the mediocre experiences there have been at dinner when they are a little busier.
The food is great, though. The sushi is always fresh and done up right. The other Japanese food always taste great.
I tried the Sushi down the road at Suvi tonight and found it to be equal to Miyagi and has much much better service.

FRESH! DELICIOUS!
The tuna, salmon, white tuna, all the raw fish were extremely fresh and simply melts in your mouth!
All of the appetizers & rolls that were serve to our party of 8 were extremely delicious and I wish I knew the names, but I did upload photos so I hope they will help you in ordering when you give this place a try!
Also our waitress was extremely friendly and tentative. The place has a relaxing atmosphere and is good for groups and those romantic dates.

Didn’t think that we would find a good Japanese place in Homestead, Florida, of all places, but Miyagi Sushi was great. We went there for lunch and also ordered large orders of take-​out, both of which were well-​prepared. We had a bit of everything over the few times we had eaten there/​had take-​out, sushi, chicken teriyaki, hand rolls, tuna over a bed of rice, miso, etc. The fish was good, the white people liked the chicken teriyaki and various other cooked items, and the service there was really good. They were really friendly and really tried their hardest to accommodate our large orders. They open at noon on Sundays though. Weird.

Have been here twice. Every sushi roll is wonderful and my favorite dish is the fried rice-it’s the most complex fried rice that I’ve ever had. Make sure you get the brown rice version.
The chairs are uncomfortable, but the décor and staff are great!

I love this restaurant, it has the best sushi and the staff is really nice and friendly. the décor is great too. no need to drive to kendall for sushi.
