Food is decent for the money you pay, HOWEVER the courtesy call they give you could have some courtesy and that’s my opinion, that I will not rebuke. Had a full day of stressful work behind me, and decided to refocus on my mom’s birthday. She likes Chinese, so I went for a decent restaurant close to her home. Placed an order at 3:47. Received a call about 4:30 when I was about to pull into the plaza. To most this isn’t a big deal, but to me it is. The gentleman(this is me being polite) said your order has been sitting here for about an hour, and yes his blubber in speech and time infuriated me because it wasn’t. 1) They have no idea where someone is traveling from 2) Don’t act like I have wasted your time with my late arrival. Although when you call they say 10 to 15 mins. Sometimes even 20. So for me to sit in the parking lot, would have been an excessive waste of my time. That’s 1 thing I don’t waste. Moving forward I love the fact that I wasted their time, but my order wasn’t even correct. So then all of us had to wait. Conferencing with my friends about this, they asked if I was at a PF Changs or something, I was like no. Just a neighborhood stop. Took a picture of the venue, to show them the simplicity(nothing wrong with simplicity, but it’s not like you’re walking into a beautifully decorated oriental feast) The guy at this time asks me if I took a picture of him. No, I didn’t. But I definitely didn’t post the pic, because his shoulder grazed the lens. And under the assumption that I took a picture I guess he was going 1) break my phone 2) hit me 3) throw me out … On what basis? For being upset and displeased with his arrogance. That’s behavior he should review. And if it is that serious that patrons arrive in a concise and timely manner for their order, we should be informed that every 5 mins is $ 2.00. That would get everyone in an out. Things I may review upon posting this, My pregnancy, my hormones, etc. if you guys ever read my post on Red Ginger. Their 45 min drive. With my food probably sitting for at least 45 mins. Is worth it. Even if they threw in a little arrogance, that they never give.

I usually order my Chinese food from this restaurant but I was sadden one day when I ordered a simple chicken wings with pork fried rice. I ate most of the wings, which were delicious and the rice was to die for. As I began to eat another wing, I had to spit it out of my mouth quickly. It appears that there was a spoiled chicken wing in the bunch. As if that were the worse thing. I called the the restaurant not necessarily to give the a hard time to complain but to warn them of the rotten chicken wing. The lady on the phone tells me «we just got the chicken». I said fine, but one of the wings is spoiled. She kept implying she just purchased those wings yesterday. I shook my head and just politely ended the conversation and hung up the phone. Everybody has bad days, I guess this was one of theirs. Love their food, just not that one wing.

Trying this place out for the first time because of a referral from an acquaintance. China Wok is a small Chinese Restaurant located in the West Lake Commons Plaza. It offers take-out, catering, and delivery. The restaurant had a modern look with a few table seating for customers. I ordered the shrimp lo mein lunch special; which came with pork fried rice and an egg roll, and was prepared very quickly. The egg roll was fried nicely. Crunchy on the outside with tender veggies on the inside. I like to add a bit of duck sauce between each bite for flavor. The pork fried rice & shrimp lo mein was cooked to satisfaction and wasn’t salty. Quick food service, moderate prices, good quantity food… yeah, those are the reasons I would return.

Great service and ideal for pick up. Has few tables to dine in. But its perfect if you are in a hurry or like to take some chinese home for dinner. All famous top dishes are on the menu. You can add a spring roll and or choice of rice. Not just a great price but also a delicious original chinese flavour. I had the chance to try the Mongolian beef and the beef LOMEIN. Both yummy. I also liked very much the fact that everything is made at the time you order and its so organized that everything is ready in a matter of minutes. Fresh and clean. Going again to try my other favorite chinese dishes!

This is our new Chinese take out! The service is quick(not sure what the other reviewers ordered), but I order for a family of 4 and the food is done within 15 minutes. They even call me and let me know it’s done before I get there! We love their steamed dumplings — by far the best we’ve had. The chicken in their lo mein is grilled — love that added touch — and the mei fun is our favorite noodle dish — hard to find at other take out places! The location is convenient, has ample parking(if you pick up), and the service has always been super friendly!

By far the best takeout around. Fresh rice, piping hot on deliveries. Everything tastes good coming from here. I’ve been here and Aventura for two years and this is by far the best takeout I’ve had.

Decided to give them a try since the reviews were pretty good on Unilocal.Wait was pretty long. Food not particularly good IMO. Spring rolls were very soggy and not appetizing. Ordered their version of Kung Po chicken — had very little actual chicken and what there was was fried and battered — like what you’d find in orange chicken. On the whole, was very blah.

Good good and clean establishment but exceptionally slow service — they need about 45 mins to have an order ready for pick up. That’s way too long for take out! We’ve ordered a few times and def like the food a lot but we’re going back to our old Chinese place as the service is just way too slow here :(

Mongolian beef, lo mein and fried rice were delicious! Delivery took about 35 minutes. There was a small misunderstanding with the delivery driver about the payment change and when he left I noticed the error. I called the restaurant and they called him and he returned and very professional, apologized for the mistake. I was very pleased overall. Kudos to all the staff for superior customer service. 100% recommended!

The food was just okay. Hunan wok is much better but I wanted to give this place a try. Took too long to be delivered. Going back to what I know.

I stopped by for some takeout and was pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly, the place was spotless, the food was cooked quickly, and it was really delicious. I ordered the shrimp with mixed vegetables and brown rice. Large shrimp, fresh veggies, and a nice size portion! I will be back :)

Not the best Chinese place but it’s not terrible either. You get what you pay for. Meat looks a bit mysterious but so does every Chinese food meat unless you go to a fancy place. Couldn’t order delivery online because the only payment option was cash. Delivery was reasonable.

Place just opened and figured I would give it a try. Ordered wonton soup and pork lo mein. The soup was rather dark in color and had WAY to much salt in it… Wontons were soggy also. The pork lo mein was good except there was barely any pork whatsoever! Maybe 5 small pieces of pork total!!! I will give them another shot in the near future but first impression was pretty disappointing. I did like that they have online ordering however but when ordering online it did not give an option for delivery.
