The guy on the phone is amazing, I will try them for the first time but so far I’m impressed…

It is ok if you are craving Chinese but not the best .You can eat in, but it is more of a carry out place. Clean. I tried the beef chow mein. I had to put a lot of soy sauce on it. Then it was just ok. I will go again and try something else since they have a large menu and it is convenient — in same shopping center as Publix and my cleaners.

First time at the store front. Happy people and good food (General Tsao’s chicken and pork fried rice this trip). I’ll be back to try out other selections.

My s/​o and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals from Hunan Wok. The delivery of the food was prompt, very quick. The delivery man was polite and friendly along with the man I ordered from on the phone. The food’s quality I feel was above average. The food tasted delicious and was at a nice hot temperature like it had just been cooked.

I read the bad reviews and I ignored them because this place is across the street from the hotel I was staying at. I have to agree this is some pretty weak Chinese. Ordered the Orange chicken. So take sweet and sour chicken then replace sweet and sour sauce with orange sauce and voila! Orange chicken. It was gummy and nasty and soggy and surprisingly bland. All the soy, duck and hot mustard in the world couldn’t fix this disaster. The fried rice was pretty lousy too. On the plus side they managed do fry up a decent egg roll that I washed this heaping mess down with.

Great food, very fast service. This is my go-​to place for Chinese food. I’ve been to other places that want to charge me extra for veggie fried rice instead of the pork (for the combo deals), but this Hunan Wok switches it out for me without an issue! Definitely recommend this place for fast and delicious food at great prices.

Favorite Chinese spot. I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food being that I moved to Florida from NY a few years ago. Two thumbs up.

So rude. They messed up my order and when I returned the soup because of an allergy I forgot the noodles and he charged me for them. I have been ordering from here for years in spire if the rats and never once order that soup. Never going back.

Great food, great price and super fast delivery. Their egg drop soup, veg noodles and any fried rice is always excellent. Their food is fresh and delicious. I usually get the honey chicken or Hunan chicken. I highly recommend this place as a budget friendly high-​quality deliciously seasoned Chinese takeout for the most part restaurant.

This restaurant has several vegetarian options. The sautéed broccoli is like beef & broccoli minus the beef. The food is cooked to order and the staff is friendly!

Again. This company does not disappoint. I’ve ordered from here 10+ times… The food is delicious is always hot and tastes fresh. I would order from them even if I lived an hour away. Their customer service never seems to disappoint either.

Consistently good Chinese takeout, personable service and fast delivery. We’ve been a customer since Hunan Wok opened many years ago and have enjoyed each of the dishes we’ve ordered.

We are new to the area and I thought I was ordering from the new Chinese place next to Publix but I somehow called here. I have been without Chinese take out for so long that I was in Heaven when I ordered Honey Chicken and Fried Rice and it was readily available in just a few short minutes. The staff was super friendly and the food was yum.

Grossssssss! I’m sorry but some of these reviews are dead WRONG! This food had no flavor what so ever to the point where I physically had to re-​cook everything myself. The sad thing is I’m Puerto Rican and I made it taste like it was from China… Hell they should fire all the Asian cooks they had back there and hire me lol. I ordered 5 items and the food was ready with in 5 minutes, good food takes time and I should’ve known better. My bad and I will not be back nor do I recommend this place to anyone with tastebuds!

I moved down from fort Lauderdale my friend’s uncle owns a Chinese restaurant that I am very fond but sadly they won’t deliver down here.
But this place is a great place too friendly service fresh food and a lot of it for the money… I will definitely order again

They don’t deliver to the Marriott Hotels that are on hotel row, 5 miles away. Ok, 4.8 miles by mapquest.
If you’re in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl for a cruise, order from someone else who actually delivers. To bad, they are missing out on allot of business.

We had allot of people ask about our deliver and who we ordered from.

Some places are a draw because they sit on a beautiful spot with a killa view!
Some places bring them in because it’s a cool hip chic place.
Some places attract a crowd because it’s new different or has a buzz!
Some places have a cool name that draws interest.
This is none of those!!!
It sits in a sleepy little strip mall.
It does most of it’s bitness on takeout and delivery and it does well!
It has no ambiance if you decide to sit and stay.
Hunan Wok! Not a chain, but I’ll bet you can find a Hunan Wok establishment just about anywhere.
So the name’s not helping a whole lot either!
So why four stars you say?

The competition is stiff in the area for delivery so you’ve gotta do a great job to stand out! These guys deliver… pun intended!
Ok the food is great, but the delivery experience is more than just bringing you some yummy fo yo tummy!
The phone call, when you call here you don’t have to sweat it out whether or not google translate can help you get through this communication or feel like if you speak your order louder that somehow it will be better understood. Or give up and start shouting out combo dinner numbers!
Let’s face it, you’re craving something and you want the order to be what your taste buds are expecting!
I’ve ordered here many times now and I’m never playing the guess what’s in the box game! Fun when opening presents not so much with food.

Want brown rice instead of white? Just ask!
Vegetarian menu, yep pretty extensive!
Fried rice… soooo nice! (Shrimp & Pork fried rice really good!!!)
Oxymoron alert!!! Shrimp are large… and dishes that include them are palate approved!
The spicy dishes are spicy tasty and not hair on fire take a cold shower to cool off!

I’ve tried most of the Chinese places in the Dania Beach/​Hollywood/​Hallendale area and this is BY FAR the best! Excellent MSG — free chinese food that actually tastes fresh and healthy. Great customer service on the phone, and super fast delivery! Try the mushu pork and the shrimp fried rice! Lots of meat in every dish, and just delicious!

I’m used to Chinatown NYC chinese food and Hunan wok does a great job at providing quality of food and quantity. The owner, Robert is also a fantastic guy… very friendly and helpful.
My first time in after my relocation to FL sums it up… Robert was assisting an elderly woman with her meal, serving her, making conversation, being very attentive. He’s a very kind and considerate person and I was impressed by him.
Then I tasted the food and saw he carried that continence over to his business. Like I said… great food and great guy as well as reasonably priced.
