Nice small family run place. Always a great meal and good folks that have always been willing to go above and beyond for you. I usuallyask for things not on the menu anymore and they always come through!

We checked this place out for delivery one evening. For $ 22, we got a two topping large pizza, 10 wings, and a small cheesy bread. The estimated time of arrival was 45 minutes but the driver was there in 30 minutes. The pizza was your average type of pizza, nothing special. The wings were not greasy and they were flavorful. There were no carrots or celery to go with them, however. The cheesy bread was your average as well and the marinara sauce was a little too runny for me. The food was delivered hot and the driver seemed friendly.

Very disappointed. We used to order all the time was great! Tonight the pizza was horrible! No sauce, no cheese and very little pepperoni. To many places to choose from in Holly Springs to go back.

I would not recommend. I have only gotten take-out, but the pizza I did was very greasy and tasted like cardboard. There are many other great pizza places around HS that are close by.

Terrible service, I asked for a simple philly cheese steak sub. They served me w/e they wanted and put a salad with Italian dressing on my sandwich. Called to let them knw my order was all wrong, told me to come back for a free sub. Called the nxt morning about 10:55 l, I was told to call back in 5 bc they were not open(then why answer the phone, not calling to socialize) I end ip goin in later that afternoon askinf for the same simple sandwich. I was served a sub full of jalapeños ! Which I NEVER asked for ! Called to complain and all the girl said was ok ! No one ever apologized or showed any empathy for screwing my order up twice ! Terrible customer service skills, no hats, gloves, or aprons !

If you want cheap pizza for a great price, this is the place! The best deal is the XXL one topping for only $ 10! It’s good pizza too, certainly not New York quality, but it comes close enough for the area. I’m sure the flour and cheese they use is not top quality and the pepperoni is really greasy, but if you just want a pizza that beats Pizza Hut or Papa John’s, this is your place! They also have other good items, the fries and tater tots are really tasty. The place seems dirty and worn out, so I wouldn’t recommend eating in. The female employees here are super nice, but the men that work here(especially the guy that I assume to be the owner) are not the friendliest, but again this is not a full service restaurant. They do deliver, but I’m not sure if they charge extra for this as I always stop in and pick up.

I have been to Papa’s on a few occasions now. Other than the one time where the owner was yelling at a high school employee for putting too many toppings on a pizza, I would say the service has been friendly and pleasant. The prices are what brings people in the door here. You have to respect any pizza place that gives you a legitimate large one topping pizza for under $ 10. At such a low price, I figured the pizza wasn’t going to blow me away(which it doesn’t). I will say it is a step above a frozen pizza, but below some of the other options in the area(Michelangelo’s, NY Pizza), so it’s basically one of those«you get what you pay for» type places. The sandwiches are in my opinion a better value than the pizzas, and is typically all I go here for nowadays.

Our family has eaten here for years and never had anything that wasn’t delicious. The calzones in particular are amazing! My favorite dish though is the eggplant Parmesan w/spaghetti. It’s so good!!!

I have been going to Papas since I moved here in 97 and it was the only place in town. It is a great blue collar/hole in the wall type of place. We usually go for lunch. You will not find a cheaper place to lunch in Holly Springs. Favorite is the grilled chicken sub or the cheese steak. Pizza is OK and will do in a pinch

One star is one more then I would like to give this place! Let me preface this by saying we had never had a problem with Papas, and had been enjoying their food since moving to Holly Springs. However, after what happened tonight, my son had to drive me home and thought I was going to have a stroke. I was THAT upset. I had called in a carry-out order, and it was exactly the following(typing it straight from the paper I wrote it on and read to the girl): «#2 — Papas Supreme w/mayo, O&V(12» sub, fries, drink) #4(Chicken fingers, fries, drink) #6 — w/black olives(2 slices of pizza, 1 topping, drink) #2 — Steak & Cheese w/mayo, O&V, light lettuce & black pepper« She repeated the order back to me verbatim, numbers and all. When I got there, the food was ready sans fries. The girl said, „Oh, you wanted fries?“ to which I said, „Yes, they come with the meals I ordered.“ she told me they would make me some and adjusted my bill accordingly. 5 minutes later I was handed the fries and I left. After sitting in HS rush hour traffic, I finally made it home and my subs had been getting cold and soggy for approximately 25 minutes. We sit down and my daughter says, „Um Mom, wheres my pizza box“. It hadn’t even occurred to me that there was no pizza box. So I called, and asked the girl for the manager. I told him we were missing the 2 slices of pizza. He said, „You didn’t order pizza“. Now I’m ticked. We went back and forth with him insisting that I never ordered pizza and he finally said, „I’ll make you the pizza and won’t even charge you for it. OK? You get free pizza! Everything else in your order right?“(All in a nasty and condescending tone). I told him I didn’t know because we hadn’t even unpacked the bags yet. And furthermore, I told him he wasn’t giving me anything for free… I had paid for the pizza! I then asked him to remake the whole meal because now everything was completely ruined. He said, „No, I’m not remaking the whole meal, just 2 slices of pizza with black olives“. He was completely nasty and rude. So, I was about to walk out the door to go back for my daughters pizza and I noticed something funny out the corner of my eye. There were 3 subs in one of the bags when there should have only been 2. So we opened everything to make sure everything else was right. Low and behold, instead of 2 –12» subs, there was 112″ and 26″. What? Turns out the the 12″ was the papas supreme, dry. Not a stitch of mayo or O&V. The 2 half subs where 1 steak and cheese and, wait for it, 1 papas supreme with black olives! Now I was livid! I told my oldest son he better go with me and off we went. I walked in, put the bags on the counter and told the girl I wanted my money back. The manager, who I believe to really be an owner, was standing right behind her making a pizza and started shaking his head and said, «Just give her the money back». Never once did he look up from what he was doing. I then showed the girl the paper and told her it was directly what I read from. She said in a nasty nasty voice, «I read you the order back and you said it was right». Now I’m yelling! I told her she DID read it back to me and it WAS right and that she entered the whole thing into the system wrong. She said she never used the numbers when repeating it back, never repeats numbers at all for anyone, and what was in the bag was what I ordered. BULL! We order the SAMETHING every time and she ALWAYS reads the numbers back so I called her on it. Her reply was, «Your phone kept cutting in and out and that is what I got» pointing at the bag. I said, «Oh really? My phone kept cutting out? THENWHYDIDYOUREADBACKMYORDERVERBATIM???» Finally the owner/mamager came over and found my receipt,(Which she asked me for, but I didn’t have one because she never gave me one) and put the refund back on my card. He put the receipt on the counter and said, «She’s been with us a long time. You got what you ordered». I told him to take take a flying leap and walked out. Never again.

The place we used to go to closed and looking for a new pizza place Let me just say, I guess I should just stick to making pizza at home… This place I had high hopes on based on the 6 glowing reviews… Ordered 2 pizzas and was told 20 minutes, showed up in 25. Drove home(5 minutes) and both pizzas were cold… How??? The toppings are not high quality, the crust was actually pretty good though(why I gave it 3 stars as having a decent crust is half the battle)… Will try other places before coming back…

Excellent little spot in Holly Springs! Found out about this place from some of my co-workers and I am glad I did! The food is excellent and the service is great as well. With it only being ride down the rode from my job, I eat here about once a week. Highly recommended

Nice whole in the wall place. They make a great calzone & by far better than NY pizza over priced food. 2 big slices for $ 4 bucks & with a drink! Going to make it our Wed pizza night.

We’ve eaten a lot here. Which is why I was upset at what is really some false advertising regarding their ingredients. What you don’t see easily, if at all, on the menu is that these guys don’t serve pork. But they won’t advertise that their bacon, sausage, pepperoni, and even ham… are all made with chicken, turkey, or beef, etc. Their menu doesn’t tell you that the ham is something else(even on a ham & cheese sub!), and neither do they if you order it. I was disappointed at their dishonesty. I confronted the manager when they tried to pass off turkey bacon as bacon. He was very open with the ingredient info over the phone, and did remake my pizza with my preference of replacement ingredients. I’m not saying they should serve pork. I’m just saying they should be clear to people about what they do sell. The manager’s cop-out was«the package says ‘bacon’ on it». But it doesn’t matter what the manufacturer calls it… it is the restaurant’s responsibility to represent their ingredients accurately. Here, «bacon» means pork bacon. Any other kind requires a modifier like«turkey bacon», etc. I have a feeling the bottom line is money. I think they know that if they put on their menu that it’s a «turkey-pepperoni pizza» or a «ham-flavored chicken and cheese sub»(or whatever alternative meat is used for that), people won’t buy nearly as much of it.

Less expensive than some other pizza joints in the area, and the pizza is actually one of the better ones in the area. The indoor eating is kind of a hole in the wall, but the food is tasty, crust not too overdone, and the toppings are adequate. I’d come back again.

The Philly Cheesesteak is awesome, and only $ 4.99 for a 6-inch, fries, and a drink. Had the pizza a long time ago, and didn’t care for it at all, hence my 4 rating. I should give it a try again and then update my rating.

This is a great neighborhood pizza/steak and cheese place to eat. Better than spending the same amount of money on Dominos or Papa Johns. Bang for the buck. Our favorite:(Halal) pepperoni, olives, parmesan and mozzerela-Calazone. Thin all cheese pizza. And grown up– Awesome Steak and Cheese and fries! Call it a great Friday night meal without breaking the bank! And yes, the pepperoni IS halal.
