I am very pleased with my experience at Crust 54. The pizza was delicious and the staff very friendly. The thing that impressed me most was their professionalism when handling my allergy. I cannot have dairy or olive oil at all. With most places this doesn’t work because they have olive oil somewhere in their food. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered vegan pizza(even vegan cheese if your into that i.e. Daiya) but also offered to make a special sauce so it would not have the olive oil in it. It was so good and tasted homemade in a good way. We will be back! Thank you!

Order and Seat yourself, we ordered a cheese pizza with sausage, and it was amazing!!! The garlic oil thing on top whatever that is it’s delicious. Service was great. The Flavored Water they have at the counter to sample was delicious and very refreshing…(if you are the owner, you think you could share the reciepe with me ?) If you love good pizza, you gotta check this place out when in downtown holland. A must have

We came to the town during the tulip festival. The restaurant we planned to eat at had a long line of waiting. We decided to just grab something quick. One of us likes deep dish pizza a lot, and we came in this one, although deep dish pizza requires a wait of 40 minutes at least. We ordered a deep dish pizza to go and were told we can come back after 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, our pizza was still not ready, but it was tulip festival time; we understand they’d be super busy. As we found a table this time, we decided to sit down instead. But we stood next to the table for 10 minutes before someone came to clean up the table. Again, tulip time, we understand. When the deep pizza finally come, I was shocked at first bite — sooooooo salty. I can only eat half of a slice, while drinking a whole cup of water. The waitress came and asked us how we were doing. We told her that it was very salty. The waitress with surprised with out response and called the manager. The manager tried a bit of the sauce on our pizza and acknowledge that it was salty. The manager said they made the sauce in house, so it may happen that one batch is too much salty. We got refund on the money for pizza and the manager offered to give us a free cheese pizza. But after all this, we didn’t really have mood for pizza, so we didn’t take it. I would totally give it a 1 star based on our pizza experience, but I appreciate the manager’s effort to try to make us happy, so a 3-star.

If you’re looking for some Chicago style deep dish pizza while exploring downtown Holland, stop by Crust 54. Unlike most sit down pizza shops, orders are placed and paid for at the counter and then you seat yourself and wait. Chicago deep dishes take about 45 minutes to bake but are well worth the wait. Their normal crust pizza isn’t anything special. Ordering a 14 inch deep dish with cheesesticks will comfortably feed 5 – 6 people at $ 10 a person. I strongly recommend the Sawzall(just about everything in it) or the Chicago Special. As far as seating, as long as it’s not busy, Crust 54 comfortably seats parties of 4. The portions, flavors, and customer service are all on point. The food is quite greasy though so it can be quite the heavy meal. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving Chicago style pizza!

Atmosphere was very classic and nice, but not too much sit down space. Kept clean. The menu is substantial and they have good, cheap lunch deals. We got and split the two thin crust slices and a pop for $ 6. It was delicious. the location is cool, nice stop while touring downtown. The service was very good too.

By far my favorite pizza! Very close to Giordano’s in Chicago. I actually prefer this crust to theirs. The deep dish is deliciously rich! I could shed a tear during my first bite! We get it to go… only ate there once. Not a roomy dining area. If visiting Holland definitely stay and eat… it’s worth rubbing a few shoulders for this pizza! Pass on the Italian beef sandwich. I think they flew a cow over my bun. Meat was kinda skimpy.

We stumbled across Crust 54 yesterday while exploring downtown Holland. The outside was very inviting so we decided to check it out. Overall we were very impressed. The menu offers both thin crust and Chicago style deep dish. The deep dish takes 45 minutes and we didn’t have time for that as much as we wanted to try it out. We ordered two 12″ thin crusts and couldn’t believe how fast they were on our table. Crust 54 also offers vegan options which made this stop even more enjoyable for our differing menu needs. A word of caution though, there is a brushed on oil/seasoning mixture that makes the crust a little bit oily. It was really good, but something that they will leave off if requested

Good pizza, especially their use of fresh veggies. Best gluten-free crust ever. Super friendly service.

Great selection of pizzas in downtown holland. The service was terrific as we had then deliver to us at a bar down the street because we didn’t want to wait and there weren’t any tables.

Loved the carnivore deep dish and it was well worth the wait. Also give the Timwheels try! The barbecue chicken ones are a personal behavior. Plus both the lunch and student specials are awesome and make it very affordable! Would definitely recommend to others.

Excellent pizza. The deep dish is great, but I also love the classic pepperoni. Slices for lunch is a great deal(it’s like 6 or 7 dollars for two slices and a drink).

We all met a business client here for dinner. Pizza just sounded good to everybody today. This place, as well as others have come recommended by the locals. I have to say it was a good call. Our pizza was awesome, best I have had in some time. And… it wasn’t even the deep dish. The deep dish takes about 45 minutes or so to bake as opposed to the thin crust at 15 – 20 minutes to bake. I myself leave Friday for home, but will pester the boys to come back and have the deep dish… which they did want tonight if it didn’t take so long. Anyway, my suggestion… call ahead for the deep dish.

The pizza is so good that my boyfriend and I ate here twice during a weekend long trip to Holland. Best Chicago style deep dish we’ve ever had, and we’ve had it in Chicago! Their pinwheels are yummy too. The Chicago style takes about 45 minutes to make, but it is worth the wait!

Very good gluten free deep dish pizza. Even my gluten loving husband preferred the GF deep dish! Can’t wait to go back to try the thin crust. Very knowledgable.

The atmosphere was nice, but very casual. Order at the register, pick up a number and wait for your food to be delivered to your table. It was difficult to find seating for 5, so we squeezed into a booth for 4. The Greek salad was great — very large, fresh ingredients. The wings were decent, but nothing to write home about. Server forgot to give us ranch, so I had to track that down. Pizza was delicious. I wish they served beer — would have completed the package. More outdoor seating would have been nice, too. There were a total of 4 outdoor chairs and we needed 5.

We went here and I had the GF pizza. Service was super friendly, and fast! They had made this DELICIOUS organic lemonade infused with basil, rosemary and dill. It was incredible! I do recommend!

Ordered cheese breadsticks and 12 inch Chicago deep dish sawzall pizza and 5 inch all meat pizza. The breadsticks came out and were very good! Then the Sawzall pizza came and it was cold and vegetables were still uncooked. The meat pizza came out steaming hot. We told the server about the pizza and the said they would put it back in the oven. Being a cook myself I new this was not going to be the same with all the filling spilling out. So the put it back in the oven, brought it back. The filling was warmer however veggies were not done and the crust was hard because of the rebake. We just asked for our money back on the big pizza, even though they offered to give us a gift card for a free pizza and eat the one they reheated. Sorry it just wasn’t worth eating and we won’t be back.

You have to get a deep dish pizza! We had pepperoni and sausage. It was very cheesy and delicious. We also had the pinwheels. Those were very good too. The building was very clean and the employees were nice.

Crust 54 used to operate under different owners, and to be honest, I loved the pizza, but the service was sub-par. It was also very hard to actually order a pizza, because it seemed like the pizza that you ordered and the pizza you got were never the same, like some kind of rotating«lets screw with customers’ orders» roulette. I’m VERY happy to say that the new owners have gone so far above and beyond what Crust 54 was and have turned it into such an amazing place. The family that runs it are incredibly warm and inviting, and no matter how busy it gets, I always get service with a smile. I’ve only had one time where it wasn’t right, but that was the guy taking my order’s fault(he was a little too happy and a little too rushed). Overall, this place rocks. Get the ‘too much pepperoni’ pizza. It’s epic.
