Frances Jaye is a really fun boutique in downtown Holland that has a Lucky brand aesthetic and vibe. I fell in love with a couple of dresses on display but sadly they did not have my size. If you’re a female in your 20s or 30s, Frances Jaye and jb and me are the two shops in downtown Holland that you just have to check out!

I live in Grand Rapids, which has surprisingly few menswear shops that sell anything besides dad clothes. I had heard some praise for Frances Jaye, so I stopped in while I was in the area and was really impressed. The store carries a lot of great brands — some of my old stand-bys, and some I had never heard of but quickly became familiar with. There’s a good mix of bigger brands(e.g. Obey, Herschel) and smaller, boutique ones. Their selection of accessories was well curated, too. I didn’t pay much attention to the women’s section since I’m a guy, but it looked pretty grand. If I was a lady, I’d be all over this place. I wish that their men’s selection was bigger, but it’s already much larger than any of the selections I’ve found in Grand Rapids(I’m talking about curated, small business places — not chains or mall shops). I’ll definitely be back for more!
