Carlo’s Pizza Oven

First 2 times food was great these last 2 times food was terrible, customer service was awful and the «manager» Artie is the most ignorant unprofessional joke I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. DON’T waste your money! We certainly will never order from carlo’s again shame on you!

I frequent the beautiful bar and what a selection they have of whiskeys, tequila bourbon and vodkas and tap beers, and as far as the food goes I have never had a bad experience, the owner Bill does a great job at running a restaurant

A long-​winded, condescending response. I expected nothing less from a pizzeria that has fluctuating prices. The few times I did eat your wonderful pizza, it was equivalent to Elios with extra oregano, and grease. Maybe stop using sorrentos cheese.

Best pizza around! Friendly family atmosphere on one side, and an awesome hangout bar/​restaurant on the other. Something for everyone!

Hey there my name is Gabe Espinoza. We order constantly for our business and they are always on time and the food is amazing. Occasionally the owner Billy will throw in garlic knots or a tasty treat, you can’t beat the price or quality of there food.

We order from here quite often. The food is good, a little more expensive but usually worth it. Imagine ordering a pizza with mushrooms on GOOD FRIDAY, only to discover canned/​jarred mushrooms! Really?

The pizza is pretty good but it seems all the employees on the pizza side could care less about customer service. They hire young girls who all seem so ditsy and clueless that it makes you feel so awkward ordering a slice. You can’t see what they have so you have to rely on these clueless kids to tell you. Also the most annoying thing is that they never leave the slices in long enough to be hot. Pizza is always cold because they keep opening up the oven to watch it. Even if you ask for it extra hot, they still rush it out of the oven. If you want to be seated, it’s even stranger… the first time, we were left waiting for 10 minutes. The food is overpriced. I wish the owner were there to teach these people a thing or two but I guess he’d rather hang by the bar or at home.

great pastas and pizza if they pay attention. lousy. dinner on Xmas. eve-​, chicken like jerky. and no one in the kitchen gives a crap.

The food is great but the prices are a little high… took my kids out for two slices and three drinks and when the cashier told me the total I just looked at her like she must be mistaken. We enjoyed the food but I definitely haven’t been back.

Always gets my orders wrong, takes forever to get my food and is greatly over priced compared to other pizza places that actually have good pizza. Not the place to go.

Why did I go back? Obviously it is hit or miss because there are a number of people who really like it. I keep «missing»! Read all the one star reviews and that is what I say!!! Expensive! Bad service! Pizza is just average.

Amazing margarita pizza! Best in the area. However, the prices are not. Dinners are up to par with the «other» restaurants in the area. However, for a «pizza place» they have restaurant prices.
For get about trying to order something special or cooked a different way. If it’s not on the computerized/​automated menu, it’s not an option. I do not even attempt to order it. Too many messed up orders.
Again, I basically order the margarita pizza only. The best! A must have!

ya know I really struggled not giving them a 5^th star, I had to sit here and question my own judgment. The Pizza is a straight fair 4 stars and i am judging this against Mamma’s; Mamma Lombardis; Sal’s pizza in Sayville; and Howards café. From all of these in their competition I only dropped one star which is honestly quite impressive. The Calzones and cheescake/​tiramisu are awesome. All of the food here is very good and i would recommend to anybody looking to not cook for the evening to order here. The bar was a great addition as Butcher Boys was becoming a bit ratchet to say the least. become a patron of this fine establishment There is absolutely no reason that I could find or think of to not love this place and i dine out a whole lot and regularly go to very nice places. For those quoting it as expensive please go back to New Jersey. This is Long I$land $o get a real job! Everything costs allot here lol

Pizza wasn’t bad, but it should have been encrusted with swarovski crystals for what they charged me. Seriously $ 48 for 2 regular pies and knots?! Never in my life have I paid that much for regular pizza!!!

It’s okay, but kind of expensive and very greasy.

66 dollars for 2 orders of spaghetti and meatballs, Shrimp scampi and a Broccoli roll? We could have went to a nice sit down restaurant and paid less. 19 dollars for shrimp scampi at a take out pizza place? Insane

Not worth the decent food here. If you want GREAT food and GREAT service go to La Cappaninna off the Expressway by the movie theater.
This is the 2^nd time we had such an aweful experience. the first time was when they told our family we couldn’t sit in the dinning room because we had our children with us and STILL we gave them another shot. Today was the LAST TIME we will EVER go there.
After the lady on the phone confirmed our order we brought it home only to have our pasta, chicken and broccoli completely missing the chicken. When my husband called very nicely the manager indicated the ticket just said –pasta and broccoli — with no offer for a resolution. I called again and requested they send over the chicken since we live so close and they told me «no» and they don’t know how much they’d have to charge me. Charge me for THEIR mistake?!
I hope those that read this review value a good customer experience — at least at a place where the management treats their customers with respect. The owners of Carlo’s need to realize that Pizza places on LI are a dime a dozen — My family and I will NEVER return here.

You wouldn’t know it from the outside in a strip mall, but they have the best pizza and Italian food on the area.

They also offer stuff like French Onion soup and Cheeseburger platters so they actually do fries and things like that too… Love this place…

Perfect place to get a slice of pizza and an attitude from whomever is behind the counter — waitress, busboy, pizza man, owner.
