I called to place an order for delivery, the guy who answered the phone took my entire order & then I could hear some rude sounding lady in the background saying«If that’s a delivery order, tell them no» & the guy then said«We’re not taking anymore delivery orders»…that should of already been communicated to the staff, before wasting my time! However, I was at work at the time & my job is literally across the street, I told that to the guy on the phone & explained that I’d pick it up but couldn’t leave the office & asked if they could make an exception since I’m so close, he then said«No» & hung up! I’ve ordered delivery from them while at work in the past, & honestly it’s always a hit or miss, never that great, just convenient… but after wasting my time giving the entire order just to then be told they won’t deliver & being treated rudely… I can definitely say I’m not ordering from there ever again, there are many other options out there!

I’m sorry but I do not like this pizza at all! It’s thick and salty and the garlic knots are thick and dry and tasted burnt. I don’t like leaving negative reviews because I know it affects someone’s livelihood, but this pizza was just awful. I was hungry and still couldn’t eat it…

I decided to get my employees pizza for the holidays and they chose Oven Lovin. They offered a great lunch special, two pies for $ 20, Wow that’s great! The staff was very nice, I know they’ve been there for awhile because they talked to the person I went with and they said they remember her from when she was a child. I was impressed to see that. After we got the pizza we took it back to the staff and we ate! It was good. It wasn’t greasy and the cheese had great flavor, but the crust was to soft. I really enjoyed the garlic knots, I think they were perfect. I don’t think it’s a place I would go to myself if I wanted pizza. But I’m not saying it was bad, it’s just not made the way I like. To each his own.

Very good sandwiches! Every once in a while we’ve had some very stale hero bread that’s been over toasted but it’s usually very good.

BUYERBEWARE. Large Pizza only 16″. I was dismayed that I PAYED $ 13FOR A 16″ PIZZA. Mama Lombardi’s around the corner charges the same price for an 18″ pizza(much larger). Most if not all large pizza’s from a pizzeria are 18″. You do not get what you pay for with the 16″(much smaller). It wasn’t enough food. Understand this difference before you buy from them. The Food is good though.

Pizza alright didn’t like how the dough taste was dry and stale. Honestly one of the worst pizza I’ve ever had tasted like I was made yesterday and just reheated for the next day. The staff was unpleasant an didn’t seem to care I was present having non work related conversation that should have not been heard by a customer.

Omg! Why do they not have 10 Stars to rate them? This place is THE best! Been coming here since I was in Jr. High they were the original hero place that gave their hero’s cute names like Bronx and Brroklyn. Fresh bread and the works are incomparable and it’s owned by the same family! Nice Old Holbrook business still going strong, cheers to them!

Had my Superbowl party catered this past weekend! We ordered one of the packages that came with a hero, baked ziti, wings, and garlic knots. Everything was delicious and all for a great price! Always great quality for a great price!

Awesome Subs/Pizza/Pasta and the prices are pretty low considering how good the food is, most of the time lower priced food usually means the food is gonna be crappola but that not the case here… if i had 1 complaint, I’d have to say the hours aren’t that great/it seems to be closed early especially on Saturdays, but other than that I’m there 2 – 3 times a month

Not only does Oven Lovin have the most amazing pizza, but their cold heros are out of this world!!! They had me at the garlic knots years ago… My family’s favorite Friday night pizza spot for the past several years. Pizza tastes so fresh, prices are absolutely great(which is hard to find these days!!!) and i can always expect a friendly face when I head there to pick up my food. If you’re looking for a new pizza joint, this place will steal you over with their expertise!

After hearing from a friend how good their food was, i stopped in last night. I ordered three hero’s and a personal pizza. To start, ive had better pizza from dominos! The bread wasn’t what i expected. Towards the end of all three hero’s, the bread was too hard to chew. Fair prices although, i was expecting a foot long hero, the Main St. sounded mouth watering, upon receiving it, the hero was soggy and fell apart when i cut into it. Maybe, im too tough of a critic, however, from all the hype i wasnt soo impressed. I will give Oven Lovin another shot because everyone has a bad day and it was somewhat busy when i ordered. Good Luck Oven Lovin hope to experience better food my next visit. Until next time!

Service is no better than ok. Rib Hero is out of this world and pizza is great. Prices have gone up slightly but i’m sure rent is higher with their new location. Still worth the money. my only issue is hours, never opened when I’m in the mood for a sandwich.

I’m not the biggest hero fan BUT this place is amazing! Great food, great staff!!! That being said, their pricing has been getting a little high lately. Last time we picked up food from here, 2 hero’s and a personal pizza, the little single serving one, it cost us over 30 dollars! We can’t afford that very often so we won’t be back soon, but the food really is excellent!

Been getting heros from this place since the late 80’s or early 90’s when they were located in the old spot down the road. I cant comment on much of their menu. As Ive been ordering the same hero since day one. A Manhattan, no lettuce. The bread is always top notch and they finish the sandwich off in the oven. Its always spot on. Have never been disappointed.

Cheese: solid, nothing special. Toppings: solid to mildly disappointing. Crust: dry, bland, almost stale-tasting. Very much the weakest part of the place. The good news is there are plenty of options here. And I might try a hero next time. I do love pizza, and the pizza is fine, but I found the crust to be surprisingly bad. Maybe it was just that one visit. I won’t rule out another.
