I hadn’t been to Divine Curry in years. For the obvious reasons. Tonight, that changed. Friends said«you need to go back there are new owners». I am glad I did! The family that currently runs the restaurant does a great job. I had Lamb Sag that was divine. The garlic naan was aromatic and tasty. The dishes my friends had were all beautifully served and delicious. The only complaint from two of my party was that their dishes were tasty but not spicy enough. I will go back.

Divine Curry offers a great variety of dishes, including many vegetarian options. The veggie pakora was a tasty starter, not at all greasy like many places. Our two entrees, Shrimp Nirgisi and a chicken dish in a green sauce(yogurt based) were excellent, interesting spices, with just a hint of heat. The owner is very helpful in describing dishes. We definitely want to come back for the Wednesday dinner buffet. Don’t forget to BYOB, nearest liquor stores about 1 mile away.

Great food and very authentic. Probably the best Indian restaurant in Somerset county. Must try Chilli mushroom and broccoli.

We have had takeout from Divine Curry twice and we absolutely love their food. Their Samosa is the very best I have ever had(of over 30 years of cooking and eating Indian food). Their breads are delicious and you get generous portions of them. Being a vegan, I greatly appreciate the menu that has vegan options. They are nice people, with terrific food. When my husband suggested we get take out Indian food in Hillsborough I was skeptical, but Indian friends recommended this place and we will be regular customers.

Very good food. Had the Chana masala and chicken tikka masala. They had excellent flavor and a good spice level. This is our new favorite Indian place.

Great little place right near my house! I’ve always drove past the kingsbridge center but never looked into until I saw this place on Unilocal. It’s got a great lunch buffet deal and changes types every day! I get my fill of curry from this place very often. Their naan bread is delicious!

I used to hold another local indian restaurant in higher regard but I recant and place Divine Curry in the number one slot. Consistent, quality, great buffet.

We ordered our food using their online ordering option and it was very easy to use. Our order was correct and ready when they said it would be. Our food was delicious, as usual.

I came to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the food was amazing as always. We all had chicken curry and chicken tikka masala and once again it didn’t disappoint. This place is a byob so come prepared to eat and drink. Best Indian food in town!

One of the best north indian food restaurants I have eaten at, and I am from Northern California where there are a ton of Indian places. Every time I visit NJ, Divine Curry is a must go destination on my list. I wish I could somehow take them back to CA with me! The owners are very nice and friendly and the food is very rich and flavorful! My favorite is their chicken makhni and garlic naan. Try it and you won’t regret it!

This restaurant frankly has a CRAP buffet. The food and service was not what we expected when we saw the 4.5 stars on Unilocal.First off, the bill for 4 adults and 3 kids was a startling $ 135 and that was with a firkin FATHERSDAYDISCOUNT. The owners are very very stingy. That’s almost $ 20 per person. That is outrageous. Fine fine… if it cost $ 135 the food should be good. right? Well no. The food was BULLSHIT. First off there was no paneer in the PANEERDISH and the food was sitting out for over an hour. Only the naan was good. That is not what I expected from a buffet that costs $ 20 per person even for the kids. DONTGOHEREFORTHEBUFFET and if you want better Indian Food just google the recipe at home and make it your self because you’ll enjoy it more and you’ll get better food.

One of my neighborhood favorites that can be located in the Kingsbridge center. This is one of my «go-to» places for a satisfying meal on any given night. It is family owned and the people I believe to be the owners are always extremely friendly and excited when they see my fiancé and I walk in. They know not to bring us menus any more because we have tried a pretty good number of the items and have it narrowed down to our favorites that we order consistently. My personal favorites from here are the Chicken Korma and Chicken Makhni. We always order Garlic Naan and sometimes will rotate our choice of appetizer, depending on our mood. Sometimes it’s the samosas, sometimes it’s the Paneer Pakora and sometimes we will choose something totally random. The portions are always generous for the price and the sauces are always full flavored with perfectly cooked proteins. They recently started doing delivery and have added a dinner buffet a couple days a week, which I would definitely recommend if you’re new to the Indian food genre. This way, you can try different items without having to spend a fortune on ordering all of them. If you live local, you can also usually find a coupon or two hiding in the Raider Saver or Val-Pak type coupon mailers you undoubtedly get on the regular. Make sure you check in on Unilocal and you just might find yourself a coupon right here!

Such a great place. I used to go to Hurry Chutney. But the quality of the food at Divine Curry is leap and bounds above the food at Hurry Chutney. The naan is buttery, hot, crisp on the outside but the inside melts in your mouth. The curry they have has a complexity to it that makes each bite actually addicting. I highly recommend checking this place out.

This is northern indian food. So be aware of this when looking into the menu. Staple chutney’s brought to the table. Cold water to clear the throat. Food was fresh no doubt @ it… I ordered spicy and Was satisfied. Soup was the real deal. Lentils w spices and tomato. Tea chai excellent. Got a extra Tiki gravy for my chicken which was nice since I Didn’t order any. Not to doubt or discredit the other Unilocaler’s dining Experience. Every body deserves a second try @ Food. If it’s bad second time @ then something is Definitely wrong… This concludes my dining experience. Namaste…

This is a great Indian restaurant right by our house. Everything is just great! From the appetizers to the soup, to the naan and the main dishes. We have not been here in some time and my wife is raving. We will be back soon.

Wonderful Indian cuisine, never a bad meal. Extremely casual setting with excellent lunch buffet and typically Indian fare in the menu dinner. Not to mention BYOB — who could ask for more ! Oh. And … Owners are extremely friendly and welcoming which is the cherry on top :).

The place looks nice enough; vaguely Asian décor. White tablecloths under glass, paper napkins. Background music is American instrumental– barely audible at lunch today. One server doing front of house today was OK. Had to request wine glasses but hardly anyone brings wine. Lunch buffet was pretty good. Moderate or low levels of seasoning. Serving trays were hot. They bring fresh naan to the table — excellent. Good deal for $ 9.95. We will go back for dinner soon. This is a cheap four star review — the competition in this area is limited.

I have very little experience with Indian cuisine but based on the food here, I love it. They do a very good job of adjusting the spice and nothing has been served too hot for me. For an appetizer, try the curried beef pastry(like I said, I have very little experience with Indian food so I don’t remember the names of most of the dishes). The meat was slightly spicy with peas and a very nice pastry. I loved them. The chicken tandoori is amazing, moist and flavorful served on a sizzling platter with onions and peppers. My favorite dish is chunks of chicken served in a tomato based sauce. I literally licked the bowl clean. The garlic nan is addicting and goes well with everything. I had a mango drink and it was delicious. For dessert, try the mango pudding. It was a very refreshing, light pudding with chunks of mango. The chef always comes out to say hello and the service is friendly. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. This was my third visit and I look forward to the next time.

Under new management for about two weeks now, Divine Curry is part of the Kingsbridge Shopping Center veg-friendly trifecta.(There is also Thai Kitchen III and the all-vegetarian Spoon & Sprout here.) There is fresh paint and a spruced-up interior. Our friends get takeout here often, and we probably would too if we lived nearby. Crispy pakoras and samosas are two of the few reasons to eat deep fried food. You can get a vegetable stuffed naan. They have a vegetarian menu section of course(17 entrees), and it would be great if they would mark the vegan entrees so we would not have to grill the staff about ghee and cheese, which can be hard to detect around rich Indian flavors. All of these entrees are under $ 11. One thing I had never tasted was the Chilli Mushroom Broccoli, with the vegetables sauteed in a spicy red chili sauce, so good and something different! Portions are big, so we only needed three entrees for four people, reinforced with a few appetizers. There is a lunch buffet, and look for coupons in the paper. BYOB too as you would expect. Dry rosé goes well with spicy food, and nearby Bottle King has a decent section of them.
