Excellent Indian food if you don’t mind a little spice. The dum biryani is just perfect everytime.

I ordered samosas and vegetable biryani on weekdays. After about 30 min wait time i carried out and upon opening it looked great from outside but when took a bite it was raw dough inside(undercooked)Then we tasted so called famous biryani which was flavoured with cardamom(elaichi) and lots of lemon squeezed. We didnt eat and called them about this and they said they have a new chef. long story short We asked owner to refund money but they said cant refund unless return food. My recommendation do not go to this place.

Tried this place when my kid was invited to a disgusting and dirty birthday party in their«catering hall». Place is gross. Food is fried and oily. There were flies flying around and the staff were plain disgusting(picking nose) and rude and checking out women at the bday party. 5 stars are for my 5 star review and just so that others see this review. This place needs to be shut down by health department. Would not recommend this place — Would rather go to hurry chutney than this place.

If you are looking for a team building activity, this is just the place for you! You can spend quality 4 hours waiting for your food arrive completely out of order — like Naans without curries and sometimes curries without Naans for 45mins… Your team will bond in no time cursing the place and swapping stories of worst dining experiences…

LOVE their Veg. biryani!!! And Paneer butter masala is quite awesome too. Have tried some of their chicken appetizers and its been great! The only one time bad experience was when we ordered Bhindi masala, the bhindi was dry and couldn’t eat it because it was like eating straw! Don’t know what went wrong there because we had ordered it once before and it was just as good as their other dishes. Ambiance is not the greatest. We mostly do take-outs from here.

Great food in a decent sit down place. Prices are affordable and serving sizes are generous. I can’t comment much on the service because I went on a weekday when there wasn’t anyone else there. It doesn’t compare to the quality and authenticity you’d get in Jackson Heights NY or Devon St. Chicago, but for Raritan — I’m happy! Meats are Halal, a bonus for that ;)

Excellent food. Best Indian food I have had in US and better than many places back home. Yes service is lazy but who cares when you get this good food. Tandoori chicken and gongura mutton were excellent. And biryani is great as well. Word of caution– if you can’t take heat then ask them to make it as mild as possible(even then it will have lots of spices), we love this especially because of its spicy and freshly made food.

Easily this is one of worst paradise biriyani branch. Because of the proximity, I visit the place frequently with my colleagues. But every time, the service is getting worse. The last time when we visited, the waiter spilled the entire tray of lassi on us. I understand such accidents can happen, but what was surprising is, we were not offered a different table and finished the lunch in same table with the drink splilled everywhere. It runs with exactly 2 persons I guess, one cooks inside and one serves all customers. The items are served in random order, with no apologies for being late. The person who works there seems totally unfriendly and rude. This place is only for take away, not for dining. The food quality was fine initially, but it has gone down hill. I do not recommend it.

I just had the most horrendous experience. We walked in and right off the bat had to wait for 10 minutes for someone to show up to seat us. We were seated next to a dirty table that was not cleared for the duration of our stay. We then waited for another 30 minutes without our order being taken. The waiter finally came to take our order and mentioned that we would have to wait for 45 minutes for our food to be ready. Already having spent 30 minutes waiting, we decided to wait. When we started to give our order we were told they ran out of biriyani. We were completely outraged. We should have been told that the food would take a long time FROMTHEMINUTEWEENTERED. Instead we were told 30 minutes into our wait. We basically wasted 40 minutes at this restaurant. At this Point we walked out. I will never come back to this establishment. One of the most horrible dining experiences I have ever had.

I organized a party in the banquet hall. While the food was good, service was not good. When I requested them to pack leftover food, they told me that they will call the cops… shucks!!! How madenning can that be? Their waiters just keep hanging around for tips. I paid $ 100 and he wasn’t happy. Manager told me he is running in losses and he can’t give leftover food because of that. Pathetic place to organize a party.

Very bad service. Main course came BEFORE the appetizers which were not warm indicating they were cooked long back. Very expensive food with mandatory tip. I do not mind tipping good but if the service is bad then the tip is meaningless. The only reason they are in business is because there are not many indian restaurants near by. Needless to say will NEVER return

I came for the food, left because of the service. The time we spent waiting for the bill to be split 3 ways took longer than the time we spent eating. But the food is 3.75 /5

Ok… so I am super critical of Indian food given we cook it at home and I work in India frequently. I usually do not like Indian restaurants. Paradise Biryani is excellent and authentic. The Chilli Chicken is just like sitting at The Park in Vizag by the ocean and having wonderful snacks at the shack. I had goat Biryani(Medium) and it was perfectly spiced. So delicious. The Butter and Garlic Naan was great too… highly recommended!

Worst ever Paradise Joint I ever had. Pathetic customer service. Requested mutton biryani, everyone around received it even after placing order late than us. Asked for tomato ketchup received a ketchup bottle with fungus all over the nib. When asked for the manager, he never turned up until we left the place. On top of it charged Gratuity for the worst service ever.

Having grown up in India, I’m very picky about Indian restaurants. This place has real, authentic flavor. It’s not just hot, it’s the perfect mix of spices, making it flavorful. Be careful on the level of spicy you request. Even the medium is considerably spicy. The service is excellent. If you want real, Indian flavor, I’d definitely recommend this place! Their biryani is amazing! I would come back any time. If you want American Indian food, you might wanna specify that when you order.

This is the worst biriyani ever… They should not even make biriyanis… I ordered mild chicken biriyani to go. When I opened it the rice didn’t taste quiet good and by the time I reached the chicken the spice level was so high that it numbed my senses. I like spicy food but this spice level felt like a torcher. the biriyani had no flavor whatsoever… it was only super spicy and super hot !!!
