Very friendly staff. Went and sat at the bar during Happy Hour(3−6pm). Two slices for $ 5 plus a pint of beer for $ 3. Good deal. I had a slice of Genoa & a slice of Don Ho and they were both good. 22 beers on tap with ¾ of them being from Oregon. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m only giving two stars because the pizza was great although a little cold. Staff charged us for an extra slice and wouldn’t take it back when we politely notified them of the mistake and ignored us when we said we didn’t want it. Also, not one table check. We sat in the bar because we wanted to order drinks but weren’t offered once even we tried to get their attention in the slow restaurant with 3 employees. Needless to say I was very disappointed and won’t be returning to this location.

Just ordered 2 dozen wings here and they were *so* freaking delicious. We got them plain, no sauce or dip — which would’ve ruined these because they were addictively good on their own.

We stopped by after a long morning shooting at Brown’s Camp. We were desperate and nothing else sounded good except pizza. We ended up with a slice of Canadian Bacon and Pineapple(Don HO) and a slice of Genoa, both were their«slices of the day». The Don Ho had ½ a slice of canned Pineapple, every time I took a bite I could smell the preservative on the Pineapple. Not my favorite. The Genoa was much much better, this franchise is on the same level as Pizza Hut and Godfathers. One thing I did note was they serve alcoholic beverages and also a pretty large variety of sodas. Ehhhh is about all I can say.

Used to be a big fan, but something has changed. The cheese is clumpy and weird now instead of melty and stringy. Not going back. Bummer too, cause they were my fav. I heard they were owned by the people who own Figaro’s now — maybe that is behind the change in ingredients? Whatever the reason, it is gross now. I threw away 2⁄3 of a pizza last night. :(

This is my favorite happy hour in hillsboro. From 3 – 5 pm every day you can get ANY2 slices of pizza for $ 5 and all draft pints are $ 2… and fountain drinks are $ 1. gotta love a great deal!

Love Schmizza! The Genoa was awesome as usual. The wife got the new«Mac Daddy», she loved it, and she’s not usually a huge fan of Schmizza. Great pizza, good prices, kids like the coloring boat and the motorcycle.

I had not been to this restaraunt in several months, and was I shocked at my visit last night. They have renovated!!! They now have a bar, and a new way of ordering. The servers were friendly as usual. I was told that they are making changes to their menu also, including an implementation of a happy hour menu. Looking forward to going back.

They have great beers on tap, they will soon be expanding to have a bar and more seating! The pizza is very cheesed out and yummy! There salads are very good, as well as the schmeezy bread appetizer with butter and garlic… then finished off with lots of cheese and of course a dipping sauce of choice! Sooo delicious! Can’t wait for the expansion.

As a chain I’m always happy with Pizza Schmizza’s food, but this location has more than just tasty pizza. The service here is always quick, friendly, and warm.

I’ve had a lot of great experiences with Pizza Schmizza, and am a fan of their pizza in general, but this was my first time ordering from the Hillsboro location. The pizza wasn’t awful, it just wasn’t very hot or crispy. Then there was a little issue with some unordered toppings… The amount of toppings were great, save the 3 – 4 hairs we found embedded in the cheese. I’ve found a rogue hair in my food at other places before, and I’m pretty understanding of the occasional slip, however, this was 3 – 4 black hairs clustered closely together. How does that happen in the first place, let alone get missed on the way out the door? They were nice enough when I called back and comped me a free pie, I just really hope they communicate it back to the kitchen manager to deal with. I have to say, for the high price I expected more. More like the quality I have received at their other locations. All in all, I do not think I will be ordering from this location again anytime soon.

We went there because we had a free pizza offer for moving into our new rental. I think the pizza is just OK. The crust was really hard. I guess it was OK for a free pizza but not worth the price they charge. Not impressed.

In Hillsboro land, it’s hard to find good pizza. And this franchise is just another mediocre pie. It’s a bit too expensive for what it is, but it’s not that bad. Better than Papa Johns and Dominos for sure. For the price, I’d rather go to Venetian and get a really killer pizza loaded with stuff… Where are the good local pizza joints out here anyway?

These good reviews obviously have not had good pizza. This place was amazing and very good before they remodeled. The nice and friendly and prompt staff are all gone, and they dont even heat up the pizza enough now. All the character of the post it notes on the wall is gone, replaced by a pearl district bland character. I doubt ill ever go back, and i used to go here 2+ times a week. Do NOT believe the other reviews on this site. I used to be a regular to this restaurant, and now im not. –BP

This was the first pizza place we went to upon moving to the area. We arrived about ten minutes before closing(though we didn’t know that at the time) but the staff was super friendly and put up with our«newbie» pondering and deliberating. We ended up with a standard pepperoni to go and one slice of the alligator pizza to share on site. Both pizzas were really good. The alligator was fresh tasting and juicy, which is how alligator should be. I mistakenly thought the«classic» pizza would be their smallest, but no, it’s their biggest! We walked out of there with enough pizza for two days. The only negative aspect we found was that the pizza isn’t very good cold. It really is better fresh.(I love cold pizza.) Other than that, a great experience. The décor is fun and welcoming, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the place was clean and has good food! We will definitely go back.

I never call in an order, so I can’t really rate on that. I just go in and buy a slice. The slices are fresh, baked to perfection, and flavorful. They offer a part beef part alligator pizza! I am not ready for reptile yet but I have tried various flavors, all yummy, but I tend to come back to the cheese as that’s my fave. They do have a couple less common flavors that are yum too. The cool thing is they have $ 2 slices everyday, their always either cheese, Hawaiian or pepperoni. When it’s the former two, I buy. Not all locations offer the $ 2 slices and even some have considerably higher prices on the pizza’s in general, I guess because their a franchise. The place is clean, the staff is really nice too. The owners are sisters who work there. Super sweet personable ladies, the friendliest of all the Pizza Shmitza’s I’ve gone to. They have games and stuff to keep you occupied. I go in a couple times a week and am happy with the service and pizza.

The one-toppings are usually on sale. Most recently, $ 4 off. My boyfriend only ever orders pepperoni, so he’s a cheap date. They accidentally made my pizza one size larger than I had ordered, but I didn’t pay for the size increase. They said, «Oops, we made your pizza one size larger on accident — enjoy!» The Genoa is freakin’ fabulous. But I love all meats ending in «i.» They have interesting flavors for adventurous people. I like that they have random games at each table. My boyfriend and I each got our own pizza and chowed down while playing Trivial Pursuit. I should add that I won. Hardcore.
