This is the locatuon nearthe Hillsboro Airport. I have shopped here on multiple occasions now. The last two times was for a dog bed. They have a pretty good selection of doggie beds here. The store is generally clean and the check out lanes short and fast. The parking lot is big and spacious as well. It looks and feels very similar to a Ross or TJ Maxx, but it is cleaner than Ross while having more options than TJ Maxx. I will continue to shop here.

I feel this place is alittle disorganized. But they tend to have a good collection of books for children at times. Their bags section is decent too. I don’t find anything great about the clothes though.

Apparently it «Pays to be shoppertunistic» according to Marshall’s(yes that’s their motto!) PERKS: + great customer service! + great prices + great finds for the home/kitchen + decent selection of bags/purses + ample items for exercise equipment + courteous and helpful employees + doggie items available DIRTS: — so unorganized — so messy! — dressing rooms need an update — poor quality of shoes available — trying to swindle me to sign up for their damn CC when i clearly don’t want one(please save your breath for saying goodbye, thanks!) FYI: *Sister companies: HomeGoods and TJ Maxx(owner) *TJX credit card available *Shared parking lot in a mini strip mall with PetSmart, Baja Fresh, Dollar Tree and IHOP I’m only here to get some items for my kitchen, for my dog or bedding. Other than that it’s a decent place to shop.

GOOD: –great selection of random tech gadgets-lot of apple accessories for newer apple products(they seem to be out of iPod 1 cases, sorry) –decently clean and organized with friendly staff(sometimes not very informed about where things are in the store) –large selection of backpacks, luggage –lots of nice work slacks for $ 30 or less –several locations in the store w/a large selection of nice looking weekend throwaway sunglasses –housewares selection is nice, not too many broken/mismatched items BAD: –no ties, weak selection of work dress shirts –as usual, there its hard to find anything in guys shirts/jackets/shorts/sweaters in Medium or even Large. you’d better work on getting small or getting HUUUGEE.

This is a real mixed review for me. When it comes to products and prices I can only rave. The products here are better than what you usually find at other discount stores like Ross, but they are also sometimes a tiny bit more expensive… but not by much. Furthermore, the store is always clean and tidy. Great bargains can always be found, and there is something for everyone here. The bad part is hardly anyone who works here speaks fluent English. When you ask them for help, they can’t understand half of what you are saying. Once I asked for assistance finding house slippers. The Asian woman who helped me directed me, not once, but twice to flip flops. I had to take some time to explain to her the difference between house slippers and flip flops. «One you wear outside, one you wear inside. Flip flops are for outside, house slipper are for inside.» I still don’t think she got it. She just nodded politely with a bit of a blank stare on her face. At that point I gave up and walked away. She was the second worker I requested help from. The first was no better. If you are on a tight budget and looking for clothing, household goods or even toys, it is definitely worth checking out this store. Often times you’ll find some fun and inexpensive items here that will make you think you just scored yourself a deal.(which, more-than-likely, you did). However, save yourself the headache of expecting the workers there to be able to assist you in anyway. You are on your own!

I love this place. However, it’s more expensive than Ross/TJ Maxx/etc. The random housewares and stuff are better deals than clothes. The clothing items are usually a little more pricy than they should be(considering the fact that I can buy nice tops at Ross for $ 8). But they have a nicer, cleaner selection of better clothes/purses. I love the pet aisle, because they actually have things the local pet stores do NOT. I looked all over for Veterinary Formula Shampoo for my dog and the pet store websites had it at ~$ 9 – 12(not in store), depending on the formula needed. I found her shampoo here for $ 4.99! They have a gift for everyone here, but I’d end up spending too much money on myself. Some day I’ll be back to buy some furniture. They always have awesome chairs.

I love this place. Lots of brand name stuff at low prices. If you need a new shirt come here first, you are bound to find a deal here.

Marshalls rules. If someone shops there regularly, I don’t get how they can not give it 5 stars, if it wasn’t good, one wouldn’t shop there right? Excellent deals on brand names and quality stuff; clothing, accessories, shoes housewares, perfume, beauty stuff etc… They do have a weird practice of having the exact same thing clearanced but one is a difference clearance price than the other, or not clearanced at all. But they have to go by the sticker and can’t price match because it’s based on when it came in. It’s how they do it, I have learned to live with it, no biggie. Store is clean, staff is good, selection is what it is at most Marshalls. Their all similar, no surprises, which can be a good thing. I love to buy gifts here. I got the cutest pink bra with big black polka dots by Rampage for seven dollars! YEY for discount stores carrying quality name brands! Hahaha I sound like their commercial. P. S. Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Home Best are all owned by the same company, thus similar merchandise and prices. Ross is where the stuff goes that couldn’t sell at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, or just bypassed them all together, thus the lesser quality in my opinion. I rarely, if ever, go to Ross.
