Tried several places since Moccio’s closed and found Pierro’s has cheese deep-dish pizza closest to Bobby’s.

Great deep dish pizza, I had it delivered to my hotel and the cheese was melting all over the place and very thick. Sooo good.

Piero’s makes good pizza(we have had thin crust and stuffed). They are one of the few places that offers fresh basil as a topping option and we LOVE it! They have recently expanded their menu offerings to include more sandwiches and salads too. They are quick with delivery and we have been loyal customers for years. Sometimes the people answering phones borderline on rude(hence the docking of one star) but most of the time it’s pretty good!

I accidentally ordered at the wilmette one and went to pick up my pizza here. The people were very rude about it and told me to «have a nice drive» as I left. Most likely won’t be ordering from this location ever again. Thanks for ruining good pizza with bad attitudes

Delicious pizza!!! I ordered a medium thin crust with spinach and tomatoes and it had so much spinach on it! It was absolutely delicious! And the medium pizza lasted me 4 lunches! I am definitely coming back :)

Great pizza, great service.(We have only done delivery so far). Piero’s makes great pizza! Their thin crust is nice and crispy and they’ll do it well done if you like a little more char. We also like their focaccia-ish Spessa pizza, too. They are very accommodating and willing to work around my family’s food preferences/requirements. The staff is always nice and helpful on the phone. We’ve never had a problem with delivery. Sometimes the even call to double-check, «Are you sure you want your pizza that way?» Thank you Piero’s!

This place is amazing every. single. time. And we have been regulars for nearly 7 years. Great deep dish that could go up against the best Chicago landdeep dish staples. Love the beutiful new location – way to keep classing up the Ravinia Business District! :D

Awesome pizza, both deep dish and thin crust! My only complaint is that the cost per topping seems a little high, and there is no seating area(carry-out and delivery only). Nevertheless, this is totally my go-to place when I need a pizza fix.

Wow — this suburban pizzeria goes toe to toe with the very best deep dish spots in the city. Perhaps my favorite pizza in the entire world. No exaggeration.

Why lord… isn’t there a place like this in Los Angeles where I actually live?! I was in Highland Park visiting my cousin and asked to go into the city for the best Chicago deep dish has to offer. He says to me, «why go downtown when we have the best right here. Piero’s»! I thought he was joshing me and being lazy but I was starving so we ordered a bunch of pizzas for our families from Piero’s. This was hands down the best deep dish I’ve ever eaten. This meal was a while ago but I took photos just to look back with fond memories of even the pizza box itself. The pizza ingredients were fresh and vibrant. Crust was perfect. Fact is, I can’t even explain it, I just know how I feel all this time later. I’m almost afraid to get this pizza again when I go back to Highland Park because I’ve blown it up in my mind even more. My cousin bet me that I couldn’t eat half of large because it’s so deep and thick. I did it. Yes, I thought I ruptured something and I don’t recommend eating pizza until you’re stomach distends but I have a real commitment to overeating pizza. And this was well worth going down with the ship.(and no, I’m not a fat guy, I just love pizza).

2 weeks ago I ordered the wrong pizza on accident I got the extra thin crust instead of the thin crust and let’s say it was a pretty good mistake that I made because the extra thin crust well done with sausage and pepperoni was out of this world… two thumbs up to that pizza!

Headline — Amazing deep dish and cheese garlic bread. Get your order size right… It’s filling! Daughter and I in town to pick up a car, arrived at hotel late, but Piero’s would still deliver. The two of us had no business ordering a med deep dish — I should have know better, even if we were ravenous. Crust, sauce, toppings — all excellent. Always worry about how it would be delivered in the box, but they covered the pizza with a film wrap and had it on a special type of cardboard. It was great, for both dinner and breakfast! Don’t forget to ask for utensils when you order– you will need a fork and knife!

I grew up in Highland Park and this place was always one of my favorites. I recently moved my family from the city back to HP. Earlier this week I told my 9 yr old daughter that we were going to try a ‘new’ pizza place. We ordered a deep dish spinach and sausage. When I arrived the counter person told me that it was ‘coming out of the oven’. We were home 5 minutes later. The crust was soggy and I felt like I was eating a small dairy farm. It was not good! My daughter who can NEVER have enough cheese did not like it. I will try again but not for a while.

Piero’s pizza is more of a pick up and go kind of place, and the prices seemed a bit higher than the other options in town. The crust was not as buttery as some of the other pizzas had in the area, but the ingredients were fresh and the pizza even held flavor upon reheating the next day. A solid choice if in the neighborhood.

Piero is related to Rosie from the Jetsons since she/he has wheels for feet and hands stuck in a Chinese finger trap. Besides this delightful lady is the boys that work the desk. They sure are pips. Once you get to talking to them they have winsome smiles and rascally senses of humor that few restaurant employees possess. I feel the establishment needs work because the prices are a touch high and they don’t give utensils with ToGo orders like salads which is idiotic. They also chop the salads finer than cole slaw, wtf? The dressing suck too. But overall the salad(I order the spinach or chopped) pizza, and calzones for my family or homies(according to Ben Wyatt«calzones are The Perfect Food») are all rite.

We have always ordered from here and never had an issue, but this time I came Into town I brought my gf who has never been to Chicago before and talked up Chicago pizza because as well all know it’s great. Well unfortunately she found a hair in the pizza and the manager was more difficult than anything to deal with. We gave the pizza back and requested a refund, but he said we only turned in half a pizza so we only got half the money back. How would we have found the hair without diving into the pizza? Anyways great customer service skills guys, I will never order from them again and will stick with a BETTER company that has BETTER customer service. Thanks again–

Pieros has become, hands down, my favorite deep dish pizza place– not just in HP, but EVERYWHERE. It’s just so good! We get the pan pizza WELLDONE, which is important. The crust is flavorful and crispy, the sauce is really fresh and tomato-y, and the cheese is gooey and delicious. If you want an extra delicious treat, get your pizza with sausage and broccoli. An unexpectedly delicious combo that has become our regular order.

Pieros is close to my home, and I hoped it would be as delicious as people here on Unilocal say. But, alas, it is not. To be fair, I tried them twice before writing this review, just to make sure the first time wasn’t just a bad day for the chef. This is some seriously bland pizza. The crust is bland, the toppings are bland. You might as well buy a frozen pizza and save a whole lot of dough. Service-wise, they are great. Pleasant, fast.
