I’ve eaten many different things from Jay’s Catering menu and one is better than the next. The Italian hero and chicken cutlet/peppers/mix hero are amazing. Not only is the food great, but the employees are an amazing bunch. Looking forward to many more catered events.

I don’t know if this is a deli, a corner store, a grocery shop or what. But whatever it is they are doing here. They are doing it right. Very tasty meatball parm

I really like Jay’s Deli, it is my go to place for a tasty lunch. They serve Thuman’s roast beef, which is cooked to my preferred level of medium rare. A fan favorite in our house is the Texas Ranger hero — some of Colleen’s chicken cutlets, cheddar cheese, bacon and bbq sauce. Jay’s is also a small town, mom and pop style grocery store. I love knowing that I can always run in and grab some milk, fruit, veggies and freshly baked bread and not drive into Monroe to one of the chain stores. Did I mention that they deliver?!? A true lifesaver some days!

Great sandwiches. We made a pit stop on our way from the outlets up to Vermont– and this placed popped up on our Unilocal. We were a bit skeptical since it is a mini-mart, but the sandwiches and hot food selection changed our mind. We split the steak sandwich and the tuna melt. Both were super tasty– but I would say the steak is more worth the $ since they were both $ 8. They have a good selection and would love to come back if we are in the area again.

First meal after the move to orange county… AWESOME!!! Staff is super friendly hot buffet daily with changing dishes, heros are awesome and breakfast sandwiches are incredible. Get there early before they run out of homefries for the hobo. So reasonably priced. Good deli’s are so important in your town where you live. THANKSJAY’S!

I love this place. It’s a quick and convenient place to get food. Most of the time its not only cheap but is also great tasting. They make great sandwiches, their macaroni and cheese is fantastic and their pizza is the best.

Jay’s Deli is the best! Their sandwiches, hobos, & pizza are the best! Love the coffee too. Gotta love a place that still has Slush Puppies. On the rare occasion they mess up your order, but for the most part they are on point, & if you let them know there’s a mistake, they always stand by it & correct it. I especially love how when the whole area lost power, they were running Christmas lights up & down the store with generators so people could still get essentials. They are really good to their customers. LOVEJAY’S!

Jay’s is awesome for a quick bite to eat– cold cut heroes, chicken parm, and sausage & peppers are my favorites. Also a great place to pick up a beverage or 12 and play a little lotto. they have a cozy little dine in area if you’d like to eat there.

Good stuff here. Really good stuff. If you’re around the area, I would definitely pick up a Italian combo sandwich. Also, if you’re planning an easy brunch, get the breakfast pizza(egg, cheese, ham, bacon and delicious). The hours are a little short, so be sure to look at their schedule!

I think Jay’s Deli is a wonderful place for cold cuts, meats, sandwiches, and a wonderful eating area for breakfast and lunch. I appreciate high quality items and Jays fits the bill My dad and I always came here for lunch and were always impressed. They even bring the food back to you while you wait in the back seating area(which is nice). They have a good stock of groceries and frozen items. Nothing is organic or local, but the food is damn good and worth your time to visit if you are in the area. I don’t think there is such a thing as organic lunch meat. is there? It doesn’t matter cause Jay’s still rocks…

I am biased about Jay’s Deli but there are two things I must have whenever I come back to NY to visit the in-laws: 1) Bagel, egg, bacon and cheese sandwich from Jay’s. And it must be made by either Susan or Linda or it’s no good. With Jay’s regular coffee with cream and sugar. 2) Chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll, with mayo, lettuce, thinly sliced tomatoes, mustard, white american, and pickles. Cut in half. With a bag of either Wise potato chips or Munchos. Again… must be made either by Susan or Linda, or no thank you. Of course, after having these two things, my risk of dying from clogged arteries increases by 500%. But it’s worth it. A trip to NY without these things is the equivalent to going to France and not eating a baguette or going to Maine and not having a lobster.
