Walking through the doors into café fiesta, I started to feel my inner 2% Mexicano. What a atmosphere. I felt like I was condensed in Mexico City. After pacing around for 5 minutes waiting to be served, I wasn’t sure if I should be blowing leaves or blowing fumes. Finally after a 7 minutes of waiting me and my friends got a table of 6. The only real reason we really came here was for the dollar tacos. Every Monday is dollar taco Monday here at café fiesta, and me and my friends had dollars too spend. The waiter seemed friendly at first, taking our orders of tacos and looking at my friend strangely when he asked for 6 of them. I myself asked for 3 tacos. Within 3 minutes those tacos came out. And you get what you paid for. 3 mediocre tacos on my plate. My friends wanted more tacos but the waiter never came thru. After a good 15 minutes of talking gossip, and getting dirty looks from customers, I mean communists, the waiter finally came back and we ordered desert. I personally did not order any desert, but my friends did. Wow talk about young faded, these deserts were dank city. But that’s about the only thing dank about this place. If you give them service on any day other than Monday you probably swim around in the wave pool with a t-shirt at splashdown or you are a communist.

Great place, my bf and I stopped for lunch and we love this place. The décor was just like a Fiesta. I loved the white sangria. My chicken burrito was warm and delicious. As well and his chorizo torta. They also have specials for Mondays and Tuesdays. Overall, good price and setting, delicious food. Good music. The lady that served us was very nice and attentive.

We come here all the time! We live close, they have great deals and it’s super fast(and pleasant!) service so I know it’s not going to be a 2 hour night to eat out. The food is good. They have $ 1 tacos on Monday, $ 2 burritos on Tuesday, etc… It is also family owned which we like! I would say it’s more of an «Americanized» Mexican food but it’s great!

Coming from Texas, I always have high hopes for Mexican or Tex-Mex places whenever we go out for it. But this place was just okay. I felt like the tacos weren’t authentic, but we went in on dollar taco night, so we got a lot for a relatively low price which is nice. But I still expected more.

This place has been here for as long as I can remember and that’s about 25 years. You can’t be around that long without doing something right. I like this place a lot and have been through most of the menu. The food is Mexican American with a nonpretentious homey feel. I come here for my comfort food, shrimp chimichanga. So with that in mind if you want traditional Mexican go somewhere else. The staff is lovely and make you feel at home.

Pretty much stick to $ 1 Taco Monday. Otherwise, extremely overpriced for unauthentic Mexican. Almost $ 10 for a guacamole appetizer and it didn’t even fill up the take out container! The chips that go with it aren’t that great either. Interior is fun for the family. For amazing Mexican head over to Taco Express down the road.

Café Fiesta is a restaurant that I went to all the time as a kid. It is by no means authentic Mexican food. The burritos are pretty much cheese and chicken. When I say cheese, they are drenched in cheese. With that being said, I enjoy my cheese induced burritos. I’ll still take out when visiting family at Café Fiesta. It is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I like café fiesta I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid as well and it always produces a good product. This is not regional specific Mexican food, this is definitely Americanized but that isn’t a bad thing at all. First of all don’t miss Taco Monday, their chicken hard taco is simply awesome, I love them, the chicken is moist, in a light sauce, lettuce, cheese, salsa in a crisp, freshly fried taco shell. Yummy! The burritos are not exactly what you would expect to be burritos and the same with the enchiladas but just because they are Americanized doesn’t mean that they aren’t good, because they are good, just not what you expect and they are kinda small The chimichangas are just their version of burritos except fried, but still good. The desert is good, the fried ice cream is good as are the churros. The only thing that sucks is that they charge way too much for guacamole and don’t put a little bit to top off the food for free. You can also tell they cut it with a lil sour cream. It doesn’t taste bad, it’s just too expensive, and they should give you a little bit with your meal. The décor is awesome, and the service is good and very friendly Café Fiesta is that place in a small town where you have your first taste of salsa after being raised on meat and potatoes. Where you get your first exposure to a greater world. Sure it may be Americanized Mexican food but it is places like this that ease you into more authentic Mexican food by exposing you to its base. Sure your not getting horchata, but you can bring the kids and slowly turn them in to Mexican food addicts, like what was done to me so long ago.

Can I give zero stars? Greasy food with no flavor and totally over prized. Never again! At least the waitress was very friendly.

I was surprised by this small establishment. I enjoyed it. Very casual setting with the standard Mexican entrée and lunch specials. I enjoyed it and resturned several times.

EEEEKKKK! I can’t believe what I’ve just experienced. Key Points: * RESTAURANT: Very colorful… almost a little too much really. At first it made me smile to walk in, but after about 5 mins, it looked as if a Crayola box exploded all over the place. Good thing I was only there for takeout. * CUSTOMERSERVICE: Must have been a slow day, so I only saw three workers(a cashier, a waitress, and a cook) all seemed pleasant. No complaints there. * FOOD: Decided to get the special, for 20 bucks you get to choose from a list of about 8 options(each with a trio of food combos). I chose to get two beef burritos and a beef taco. BIG mistake! Besides the small burritos being DRENCHED in cheese(hmmm, does cheese drench or cloak? let’s go with them being cloaked in cheese… sounds fannncy) I quickly got over that because I love cheese, but the meat… WHATTHEHELLWASTHAT?! Three bites in, I was able to place the distinct taste. It was the taste of Chef Boyardee«meat». The yellow rice was bland, the«quesadilla» was greesy… and when does a quesadilla only use one tortilla? It was folded like a taco with melted cheese. Bottom line, that was my first and last check in at Café Fiesta. Total let down.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Bland slop at best. Go to Tulcingo of you want real Mexican food. Hacienda for good Gringo style Mexican.

I rarely review places after only going once, but there were four of us in the group, and all of us really enjoyed the food. Definitely worth a return visit.

We try coming here whenever we are in the neighborhood shopping. Been coming here for the past 15 years and it hasn’t disappointed us. This is the only place I would go to whenever we go to Woodbury Outlets to shop. We went here for lunch, after not having been here for 2 years. Place was renovated and looked pretty festive. Love the atmosphere. Tables and chairs were nice. We were greeted with a tray of chips. Oh my! VERYFRESHANDWARMCHIPS and SALSA! They were a nice touch. Daughter ordered the Huevos ala Veracruz and thought it was great. I ordered the huevos rancheros and loved it. Hubs ordered the chile rellenos and thought it was the best one he ever had. Prices were very reasonable. I also ordered the special iced green tea, which had honey in it. It was served in a mason jar. Pretty good but could use a little more sugar. Service was very friendly. We were pretty heart broken when we had to leave this place. Will DEFINITELY return when in the area. SO glad they managed to stay open after all these years!

I’ve been coming here since my first date, when I was 8 years old! When you come in, they bring you great –homemade– corn tortilla chips, and a cup of tangy, mild, deliciously smooth salsa, which might also be homemade. While you snack on that, your drinks are brought to you right away, even on a busy night(I dislike places that take unnecessarily long to bring drinks). Though I’ve stuck mainly with the chicken fingers, and then the souvlaki pita in recent years, they are two dishes I know this restaurant has mastered; The chicken is moist, the rice is fluffy, and the fries are nice and thick, without being oily. I’ve mooched off of friends and family when they’ve ordered mozzarella sticks, calamari, enchiladas, burritos, or burgers. All of these are vastly different disciplines of food, yet, while not«amazing», what I tasted has never disappointed. The desserts can be a little pricy, but they are worth it every once in a while, since they definitely complete a great meal. My mother(and another Unilocaler on here) thinks the fried ice cream is amazing, but my heart belongs to the brownie delight. A warm, soft, and nut-less brownie, straddled by sweet vanilla ice cream, topped with a pillowy mound of whipped cream, warm Hershey’s syrup, and rainbow sprinkles. Overall, it’s a yummy, inexpensive meal that you can take-out, or eat in one of their newly-refurnished, colorfully decorated dining rooms.

This is a pretty good restaurant. They offer a nice variety of foods for a very reasonable price. It’s great to stop by if you’re looking for something good to eat that isn’t fast food and isn’t going to put a hole in your wallet. Café Fiesta is nice to go for lunch and talk. The staff is very nice about letting you stay as long as you’d like.

Order: Chicken Enchiladas, Chicken Quesadillas, Rice & Beans This was my first time eating at Café Fiesta and I had high hopes for my pretty standard order of Mexican food. While the meal was not the best ever let me elaborate on the experience Pros The Rice and Beans were the most enjoyable part of the meal. The rice was tasty and fluffy, not dried out, and the beans were cooked very well with a good amount of taste and cheese. The Quesadillas were flavorful and were a good size for the price I paid. The Enchiladas were alright, they were topped with a mole which you don’t always see and the cheese was in good supply. Cons The Quesadillas were not crisp in any fashion. While this may have been a choice of the restaurant something I enjoy with Quesadillas is the ability to pick them up and eat them as finger food which is not a possibility when they are so soggy. The tortilla of the Enchilada was also very bland and seemed overcooked. The flavor of the mole was not very prominent and didn’t get spicy until the last two bites. All in all a decent take-out experience. Their menu was certainly diverse offering a variety of dishes including Chile Relleno which may cause me to give it another try.
