Decent food, Thai ice tea is very watered-down, the delivery for lunch often takes an hour if not longer

I frequent this place pretty often with my friends even though it is quite a drive. The food here is absolutely underrated because it is amazing. I am surprised this restaurant doesn’t have 5 stars, I am honestly never disappointed by the food here. The portions are more than enough and the prices are great. I always order the mee ga-ti and the chicken massamun curry, and I have tried the chicken pad thai, green curry, mango chicken. All of them have been fantastic. The mee ga-ti is a must try item here as most Thai restaurants do not serve these noodles or completely butcher it. Incredible flavor and a mouthwatering experience every single time. You will not regret coming here!

My office orders from here at least 1 – 2 times a week for lunch, no less than $ 40 per delivery. Great, delicious food! However, just had a terrible experience with the young lady answering the phone. I order $ 24 worth of food and she tells me it’s not enough for delivery… $ 25 minimum. Yeah that happened. She even went further to ask me to order a soda so they will deliver… Yup she went there too. I told her I don’t drink soda and I would prefer not to order anything else considering we just ordered the day before too! She said she can’t change the computer to go ahead with the order. Which I know for a fact is false. There is this thing called«override» that lets you place the order anyway. I had to end the phone call because at that point, she made me very upset. We spend at least $ 50 a week at Lemonleaf and to be treated like $ 1.00 will make or break our delicious lunch is very unfortunate. Management should be more attentive when it comes to a petty issue like this. I won’t even get into how they ask for a tip even though we give them one when they deliver, they ask for more. Again, not a good customer service trait. Just lost several customers. Hopefully her attitude and knowledge of how to treat loyal customers will change very soon.

This place I have been to a few times and each time an excellent experience. Cuisine from Thailand is some thing I do not participate in too often. The first time I decided to try this place out I did not know what to expect. It is located in a shopping center on a fairly busy road. The interior is very very spacious with a lot of booths and tables. The linen used for the table cloth is literally pure white and the lighting used is really just the right brightness. I have not seen this place on a busy day or night and that suits me just fine. You are immediately greeted when you walk in. Service is very high quality where they are very attentive and polite. There was a time where I was visiting some friends in the area and wanted to pick a nice spot to have lunch for something we were all celebrating. I remembered this place and suggested we all meet there. The Pad Thai is always a favorite and I remember how good the Pineapple fried rice was. Good selection of appetizers and some skewers. Chicken dishes there are usually good especially if you do not mind spicy. And the desserts are very good as well. Cannot wait to go back. Happy calorie counting.

One of the many restaurants I found on Unilocal.I have been to the plaza many times because of the Foodtown Supermarket and never knew it existed. We decided to order take out one night. We had the Pan Ang curry with beef and the Pai sai Ew(I think) with chicken. The curry wasn’t bad and I was surprised on the small spicy kick it had. The beef was cooked just right and very tender. The pai sai ew was a disappointment. The flat noodles were overcooked in oil with very little flavor. I am sad to say I think this is another Chinese owned restaurants.

My boyfriend and I love this place! We have come here multiple times and the food never fails! Lemonleaf was the restaurant that turned me onto Thai food. The atmosphere is nice and calm.

We did take out from here, so i cant say much about the experience. The food though, i must say might be the best thai food in long island. It was amazing and the portion size was so good, which is rare for take out. the prices are the usual, but the quality is expetional. We god chicken pad thai, and beef penang curry, both of which were great. also we got their thai iced tea which i loved. overall i would have to say that the food was great, and i cant wait to go there again!

One of the best Thai restaurants in the Melville/Hicksville/Farmingdale/Huntington area. We make the drive weekly for the food, nothing close by comes close from what we’ve visited unless you have some recommendations. prices are moderate, ambiance is good, plenty of room and quick service. They have alcohol/beers/cocktails/wine.

In my opinion one of the best Thai food places on Long Island, if not the best. Their Pad Thais are fresh and sumptuous. We also had some curried pork, some kind of shrimp grilled with vegetables, and we had coconut rice. Their Thai tea is amazing as well.

This is my go to Thai place. Most frequently ordered dishes are: Cashew chicken Basil chicken Chicken with string beans and Pad see ew If you like spicy you need to say«Thai Hot» otherwise it will be bland. The take out service is extremely fast! For desert fried banana or coconut rice(occasionally the mango has not been ripe…)

Best Thai food around & they deliver! Everytime I bring someone they immediately become a regular. Thankfully they also have another store in Mineola. Shrimp pad thai is my go-to

It was my BD and I had the need for tasty spicy hot Thai Food and Lemonleaf came thru for us. I need to break the mold and order different things but again we ordered the same items as last time we ate here. We started with Beef Sate… crisp and grilled on the outside but tasty and soft on the inside… delicious with the supplied peanut sauce and the sweet clear sauce… a must have dish. And, we unfortunately didnt read the end of my previous review and ordered the Spring Rolls… still crisp on the outside and mush on the inside… will not order that again! For mains it was also repeatsville! I got the Penang Curry Super xtra spicy and thats how it came… had lots of tender white meat chicken and was wonderful! Bonnie G. repeated and got the Basil Chicken which is always super good! I requested their condiments and used the chili sauce and green chilis in vinegar to add a bit more heat… The service was just ok due to only two servers in the restaurant. That was ok as they did refill water and come when beckoned. We love this place as its always really good with no surprises. You can count on the food being the way you remembered it… a good thing!

My husband and I went back to see how things were since last review. We had the chicken soup which was delicious. We had the steak salad and an order of pork Chops that were amazing and the coconut noodle dish with shrimp and chicken which was real good! Much better service tonight and I have to say we enjoyed our meal immensely!

When it comes to curry and the Thai soups, this place CANNOT be beat. As far as most of the other dishes that aren’t curries I prefer Tiny Thai in Farmingdale. Service is always top notch here as are drink prices if that’s what you’re in the mood for. Great lunch specials too. Décor is a little dated but who cares when the quality of food is this good! Love the super refreshing oranges they bring out with your check!

Been to Lemonleaf Grill a bunch of times over the years. The location near Roosevelt Field closed down a while ago it seems. Haven’t been overly adventurous in my ordering but food has always been solid. I’ve gotten the pad thai, pad see you, a curry dish, and bamee siam(hard pan fried noodles with vegetables, meats, and gravy poured over it). I have to say everything has been solid; the pad see you and bamee siam have been my go to orders. Service is usually pretty ok and prices are a little too high for what you get in my opinion. Noodle dishes range from $ 10 – 12. But haven’t really gone to another thai place that blows it out of the water either. Thumbs up.

I have to remember that I actually do like Thai food. We ordered pickup from here last night at my brother’s suggestion, and I was very surprised. I got the Pineapple Coconut fried rice. It had crushed peanuts on it, with chunks of pineapple and coconut fried rice with chicken. It was delicious! We live about a ten minute drive away, and our food was still piping hot when we got home. I tasted the beef drunken noodles and the chicken drunken noodles and both were also very tasty. One thing about this style of food that makes it better in my opinion than Chinese is that it is not as heavy. I ate the whole container of rice and two spring rolls(also very good) and did not feel like I was carrying around extra weight on me afterwards. Much appreciated. I will definitely remember Lemonleaf Grill.

I didn’t have high hopes after viewing the inside. There were dirty ceiling tiles, both diner style booths and restaurant style tables, strange décor, a fish tank on top of wall unit right at the entrance, christmas lights on the center of the ceiling, and hats on the wall spacing apart the paintings and posters. There was a young girl as host, she wasn’t very talkative. She took my takeout order and then I sat down and waited. For a walk in order it really didn’t take very long at all. It gave me time to check in on Unilocal and snap a few pics. I was surprised by the food, it was actually good. I ordered the garlic shrimp with shitake mushrooms, scallion, and bamboo shoots. Everything was very good and it came in a great sauce. The shrimp were jumbo in size and there were 6 of them in the dish. I only wish that they had taken the tails off. The chicken massaman curry was on the sweet side but very good and they weren’t lazy about shredding up the peanuts either, some lazy thai places just throw them in whole. The chicken was tender and very thinly slices so they flavors got all the way through. The potato’s were also flavorful and added texture and a slight saltiness. The portion size was great and there was lots of thick rich curry, it wasn’t too watered down. The lunch specials range from around 7 – 10 $ a piece. I’d say it’s money well spent. I’ll likely return for another takeout order.

The Thai food here is excellent! We order delivery from them a lot where I work and the food is always delicious. I finally decided to try the restaurant out. It is a really nice place and the food is just as good. I highly recommend the Tom Yam soup and the Pad Thai. My boyfriend loves the Drunken Noodles. I tasted a bit of his and it was really good. The servers were friendly and I really liked how they gave us a bunch of orange slices at the end of the meal. They were really good orange slices, very sweet and juicy especial for a time of year when oranges are out of season.

I’ve been here a couple of times for both lunch and dinner. It’s sort of a hole-in-the-wall but there’s plenty of parking and surprisingly never crowded. The food is mostly good but a bit dry and not super flavorful for thai food. The prices are ok and you get a lot more for dinner than lunch portion since the price almost doubles. Their iced tea is weak but it is only 1.50 for a glass and that’s half the price you pay for thai iced tea anywhere else in this state. The servers are nice and they accommodate well for larger groups.

Food and service is still good. I would skip on getting the shumai and calamari as an appetizer both were on the chewy side. But our main dishes were great and full of flavor as usual. They give you sliced orange with the bill. Enjoy.
