I love Vocelli Pizza. But not this Vocelli Pizza.

I ordered pizza at 5:45. It showed up an hour later, cold and undercooked. The salad that we ordered was wilted and had barely any vegetables included. Definitely not worth the six bucks they charged.

My pizza is currently sitting in the oven, I refuse to touch the salad, and I’m sitting dinner-less over an hour after ordering dinner.

Pretty miserable pizza, dry tasteless and overcooked. I have to say I have had much better frozen pizza from the grocery freezer. I suspect that the store has management problems, lots of South Asian families hanging around but couldn’t seem to get service to even pick up the pizza. It was convenient to the hotel I was staying at but not a place I would recommend.

I love the little pepperonis on their pizza. They always come out crispy just how I like them! Crust has good flavor. The BBQ chicken pizza is pretty good too. My order has always been accurate and on time.

Only gave one star because there’s nothing lower. We stayed at the Marriott two or three doors away and it took 10 minutes to place the order, poor phone service. Then 45 minutes we were called to say they were in the lobby, after another 10 minutes my girlfriend called the front desk and I called Vocelli’s they said the delivery guy had the wrong pizza, how did he know? Why was it just discovered? Why did he open it? Finally told them to disregard the order and felt better going hungry than eating a pizza that God only knows what was done to it or «the one they were remaking». Would NEVER even try them in the future…

Vocelli quality over the years has diminished significantly. Seems like they more they expanded the pizza just doesn’t taste as good. It doesn’t help that they rarely EVER have sales or deals on the gourmet pies either.

Horrible horrible experience!!!
Spoke to the assistant manager, Jim, on 12/9/2014…very apologetic for a big mess up on an order. He and the GM, Jason, promised me four large pizzas and two orders of chicken wings for the mess up. Today I called in to order my pizza and they have no record of the credit!!! The GM, Jason, could care less or at least that’s how he sounded on the phone. He just said he can’t do anything… sounded kind of dumb if you ask me! I asked him who to escalate this to and he said he would pass my info along to the owner, Hany… let’s see how long it takes to correct this mess. I’m such an idiot for even giving them another chance to make this right, I should have demanded my funds returned to me when the order was placed. So much for having a good heart and trying to make things right!!! Although vocelli pizza has good food, they’re idiots and don’t know customer service one bit!!!

I tried their pesto primavera pizza, and it was awesome! The pesto sauce is kind of creamy, and is addictive. Loved the crust, also on this pizza, soft and kind of pillowy. If their wings had fewer calories, I would give them 5 stars. I don’t know if they bake or fry them or if it’s the sauce or what.

Traveling with a large group, service was great! Ordered 10 pizzas, 3 orders if wings, some pasta, and some salads… all were very good! Buffalo wings were just right! All food was delivered hot and ready in 45 minutes on a Saturday night @ 7:00! We are down here 2 – 3 times a year for girls softball and will definitely be calling back the next trip down here! Awesome!

I wanted to try a different pizza place for our weekly pizza night, and after going through Unilocal – this place popped up! Most of the reviews that I found for the company seemed to be pretty decent. This location currently has a Unilocal deal that offers a large one topping pizza for $ 5.99. If that isn’t a good pie deal, I don’t know what is! We jumped on the offer and I placed a to go order for the pizza. When I ordered, the young lady said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes after placing my order and the pizzas were done, coming fresh out of the oven. My check out was quick and easy! The taste of the pizza was ok, in comparison to my normal pizza place. If I had to give it a grade on a scale of 1 – 5, I would give this place a 3. I would go back again for the price– it was a good deal for the taste of the pizza.

I have never been big on eating pizza. Actually pizza is the one food that I could go the rest of my life without eating. However, if I must endulge, it has to be Vocelli. Their thin crust pepperoni is the only pizza I actually like. No need for me to tell you why the others don’t do it right, just believe me.
The Worldgate location is very convenient to the toll road and downtown Herndon. And apparently, since all Vocelli’s are privately owned, each has their own specials. I have found that the Worldgate has the BEST specials of all the DMV areas. Seriously.
Currently, when you check in, you get a large one topping pizza for $ 5.99. As a point of reference, the last time I ordered the same pizza from the location closest to my house, I paid almost $ 20. Yeah, I was a fool that day…
