We love Vienna Paint of Reston/​Herndon. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Benjamin Moore paint is the best. Vienna Paint is a welcome family owned business in a big box store world.

Excellent products (especially Aura) and staff. If you want perfect color matching, make sure Rob or Lee handle the job. People drive past other paint stores to get Lee to do particularly difficult matches. The tons of different bases and pigment types can make matching a challenge. I’m a residential & commercial color consultant who deals with all aspects of color, including visual ergonomics and the aging eye, and this is my go-​to store.

This is a neighborhood paint store located in a business strip adjacent to several upscale Reston communities where homeowners are obligated by their HOAs to keep their residences in top shape. Naturally, they are always in need of paint. Sounds like perfect the formula for paint store success doesn’t it? Remarkably, the employees here have not been able to match the paint samples I bring there, letting me leave PAINTLESS.
Sadly, the staff demonstrates little enthusiasm for working on the sometimes challenging color-​matching process. I would prefer to leave a satisfied customer, but they don’t seem to care very much. It’s surprising that a store filled with gallons of quality paints stacked high on massive shelves just gives away business. They also carry a full line of painting supplies so I visit the store for that, or to pick up already-​formulated paint they can make without matching.
