This place is A-MA-ZING! Honestly, the food was fresh and tasty but what makes this place stand out is the service. I wandered in not knowing what I wanted(if this would have been Subway, I would have felt pressured and ended up with lettuce, onion, and bread) and was surprised to be warmly greeted, have the menu and concept explained to me, and be offered to taste the falafel and eggplant. I wouldn’t have ended up with the combo that I ended up with on my own, but because I liked everything the owner suggested I try, I let him decide what I was getting. I ended up with a falafel and eggplant wrap on whole wheat with a tahini yogurt sauce. It was simply amazing. I WILL be back!!!

We went there for lunch. We told the Server(I think he might have been the owner) that it was our first time there and he was very helpful about explaining the menu. Also, he offered us piece of falafel with a couple of sauces. I was impressed with the falafel and ended up ordering it. When it came out, it was quite big and felt very fresh. It was a nice combination of falafel and veggies. After, having a few bites, I think it could have been better without the rice. But overall, it was still a very good.

We found this place by accident driving around Herndon looking for a vegetarian place. The service was excellent, the food outstanding, many choice for the person that doesn’t want meat. The portions were huge and it made for two meals.

My new favorite Herndon lunch spot! Staff are über friendly and not only walk you through the menu, but offer free and generous samples. The are obviously passionate about the food they serve. We ordered a ground sirloin/skirt steak wrap w/dill rice and ground chicken/chicken breast wrap w/paella rice. Super filling for just $ 12! I was a bit miserable after stuffing my face w/so much food. They gave our toddler a free meal(chicken, dill rice and a bit of tzatziki sauce) without our even asking … how awesome is that! And, they gave us free samples of the newest addition to the menu: saffron ice cream; which was a perfect palette cleanser. My two suggestions if they want to be a bit more kid friendly(although I know it’s not their most likely clientele): have a few kids menu options and get a highchair or two. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the falafel wrap next time. (P.S. their slogan«the sandwich perfected» cracks me up!)

This place. Is the business. If you get there before 2pm, they have an awesome $ 5.99 lunch special for a wrap, plus a drink. If not, then you still are not missing out. My first try? The skirt steak. With: whole wheat wrap(you have 2 other options,) and then dill rice. Plus condiments, like tahini and hummus… and they list it all out for you on an easy to read personalized order menu. I wanted to check them all… and well basically, I did. Plus the sweet persian man working there also let me try the eggplant and their homemade hummus. Thankfully, he cut it in half… because half of that wrap didn’t even make it out of the parking lot. I couldn’t wait to eat it, it smelled so good. The steak was juicy, moist. The tahini sauce… a perfect complement to all of the other ingredients. And the hummus? They even did the olive oil, seasonings and olives on top in the to-go container. Who even does that anymore? I will definitely be back… looking to try that tilapia, and then move on from there. I hope this place sticks around, but you guys should definitely try it just incase it doesn’t.

I seriously just had the BEST falafel wrap of my life. Not that I’ve had many, but this one is tops. Reminds me a lot of Chipotle in how you select your wrap and meat first, then add in the toppings. As people have mentioned, the staff is very friendly and eager to please. If they start serving french fries, they get a 5th star. I’ll be back for sure.

I wouldn’t exactly call this Persian food, but it was delicious. U-Wrap is a simple wrap shop that has a multi-step process to making the perfect wrap for you: STEP1: Select meat. Options: Ground Sirloins, Skirt Steak, Ground Chicken, Chicken, Hummus, Fish, Falafel STEP2: Select wrap or flat bread Options: white, whole wheat and spinach(for wraps) STEP3: Select rice. Options: white rice, dill rice and paella STEP4: Select fixings and sauce(there are 3 sauce options) My hubby and I both ordered, per the recommendation of the owner, skirt steak wraps. They were delicious. As we ordered, the steak was put on the grill… the steak was not over cooked, we selected our fixings, and it was a filling meal. We also ordered a hummus appetizer. It’s really hard to go wrong with hummus, but U-Wrap loses a star for the 4 – 5 cut up squares of wrap that they included for dipping with our hummus appetizer. SEEPIC. Makes no sense!

Stopped here on our way to Subway. My husband got the ground meat and I had the falafel wrap. The staff was nice and explained the topping/wrap situation(choose from a variety of toppings and wraps), and also gave us a taste of the falafel before we bought. Really nice people, tasty lunch, reasonable prices… yum! I’m sure we’ll be back!

This place is fantastic. You go in and check off the list of ingredients you want. It’s really U-Create, they wrap. The service is fantastic, and the wraps are so fresh and good for you. We love the falafel on whole wheat. It’s quick too. We noticed a couple walking into McDonald’s at the same time we were going into U-Wrap, we were sitting buy the window eating before they walked out with their takeout food. Same for the people going to the subway next store. I just laughed and said our food is faster than fast food, but it’s good for you and cost about the same.

After doing a local Unilocal search and seeing the reviews, I decided to give U-Wrap a try. Glad I did. But, I’m not sure what to call this restaurant-I definitely wouldn’t call it Persian. It’s sort of schizophrenic. The soup of the day was minestrone! First of all, the service was wonderful. Of course, I was in there about 4 pm and was alone, but … I asked the gentleman behind the counter for a recommendation between the flank steak or ground beef wrap. He said they were both good and asked if it was first time there. I said it was and he said to pick one of them and he would give me a mix so I could try them both. That was great! In addition to the beef, you can get rice in the wrap, with a choice among plain white, white with dill, or a sort of paella. I went with the dill, because I was looking for a middle eastern wrap. You can then get lots of various condiments on it, like black olives, pickles, salsa, caramelized onions with mushrooms, lettuce, banana peppers, etc. Your wraps can be done with floured tortillas or flat bread. You can see why I wouldn’t exactly call U-Wrap«Persian». But, while I was deciphering what I wanted on it(you fill out a little order form), he pulled out one of his falafels and put in on a plate with a tahini sauce and a sour cream/wasabi sauce for me to try while he made my wrap. The wasabi sauce was very tasty(but I like wasabi) but not very middle eastern. The tahini sauce was also good. I was taking my order out, so he also put some of his hummus with black olives on top in a small go cup so I could also try that. What a nice, friendly and customer service guy. I wish everyone in business was like him. Ultimately, after tasting the wrap, which was very good, I think the next time I go I’ll try to stick to a more middle eastern combo. The ground beef was similar to Egyptian koftas, good but not as flavorful. The flank steak was tender, but would be better as a fajita. So … I’d go with a flatbread wrap with ground beef, dill rice, caramelized onions with mushrooms, lettuce, black olives and tahini sauce. I guess it is ok that they provide such a mix of ingredients, but it sure would be nice to get a wrap with well seasoned koftas and maybe some afghan aush soup. I’ll definitely go again, and you should give it a try.

Wow. The service at U-Wrap is better than I’ve experienced at any restaurant of any type before, ever in my life. Not only is everyone extremely friendly, but it seems like it’s genuine and not just policy-friendliness. When I first walked in, I admittedly hesitated. It has the visual atmosphere of a franchise in a large chain. To be fair, that means there’s a lot of consistency in their displays, everything is clean, and everything is minimal. Nothing negative, but usually not indicative of good homemade ethnic cuisine. Luckily my doubts didn’t last long. I was promptly greeted in a very friendly way by a very smiley man. He asked if my friend and I were there for the first time, and when I told him we indeed were, he launched into enthusiastic recommendations and descriptions of the food. We ended up both ordering the skirt steak. While our food was being prepared he came over and asked us if we’d like some humus while we waited. We both said sure, and wow, the humus was fantastic. He mixed in some oil and some olives and gave us each a none-too-tiny cup. He then returned to give me a bottle of water, adding that I looked thirsty. Considering bottles of water are available for purchase on their menu and I didn’t, I found this incredibly thoughtful. Then the food came. It was fantastic! I loved every bite. Halfway through my first half of the sandwich(there is plenty of food and I’m a 6’4 black hole) my same friendly guy came over and gave me a little cup of pomegranate sauce, and suggested to add it to the bites that had a lot of steak. Wow! It was fantastic. While I was eating another person came in and was talking with another employee, not the unbelievably friendly person that had been waiting on my friend and I. What do you know, this other guy was exactly as pleasant to her. I plan on getting lunch at U-Wrap with incredible frequency. Their food is good enough to warrant multiple visits, but the service feels like it was something out of a different planet, where people are all friendly and employees all personally care about their customers.

Have been into this place twice, very close to closing time and both times they have welcomed me in with excellent service. Initially I was torn between here and going to Subway next door, but am so glad I came to U-wrap. The people here are very friendly, they serve me free hummus and bread while I wait for my order. The wraps come out with huge chunks of meat, rice and a generous helping of side toppings. I can usually only eat half of the wrap in one sitting. Excellent place, it’s normally empty as late as I come in, but I hope they get lots of business during the day/lunchtime

Went to this place for the first time today. First and foremost, I think the food was great for what it is; like a Chipotle with a middle eastern flair and freshly cooked meat. You pick your meat and toppings and they throw the meat through the oven and wrap it up for you. I chose the chicken chunks and it came out moist and delicious. Only downside for our visit today is it looks like they are still getting their processes down since they just opened. Unfortunately, this resulted in our party’s orders getting mixed up a little bit. My loss on a few choice toppings I wanted, but we were on a time crunch so I let it slide this time. Still a damn good wrap! I will definitely be back to try the skirt steak and falafel wraps soon; if they’re good as well, this place is going into rotation.
