Service is consistently slow. Sometimes they will just randomly not be open during operating hours. Went in this morning around 8:15 and was told they were out of Iced Coffee! How are you out of a popular product at 8:15 in the morning?! Just sounds like an excuse because someone was too lazy to brew coffee when they arrived.

Went to this starbucks following my gps’. Didn’t realize it was a location within a grocery store. Regardless, I proceeded inside. I ordered a venti iced coffee, breve with two extra pumps of syrup. The lady then asked«you said vanilla» to which i corrected and said no «breve» She says okay and finishes up. When she hands me my coffee it’s just a regular iced coffee and I had to explain to her what breve was(half and half). She fixed the drink. I sat down and tried the coffee and it was bitter and she obviously didn’t bother with the extra pumps either. I’m not one to request a refund ever, so I tried a few more sips to see if it was possible to ignore the bad taste and I just couldn’t. I kindly asked for a refund and returned the coffee. She was not apologetic in any way and customer service skills.

Unless I have to, and running out of time, I usually do not go to this location. As you can read from the reads on other Unilocalers, the price is higher, always out of something and person at the counter always seems so grumpy and lost. I prefer to drive a mile down to get a real Starbucks coffee with the service that would expect to experience from such established franchise.

Where to start? their prices are higher than all other surrounding Starbucks, they are CONSTANTLY running out of supplies(syrups, drink carriers, iced drink cups). This week it is lids for grande and venti sized coffee cups. Three days now and nothing but tall sized drinks available. Really? There is a high turnover of staff due to location. Some barristas are actually ok, others are very inexperienced. And there isn’t a whole lot of friendliness to attempt to offset the other areas where they’re lacking. It’s a travesty of a store.

$ 6.07 for two small coffees I like good coffee but have a real issue with Starbucks approach. It is only when a certain set of circumstances present themselves that I’ll give them a try. Such was the case the other morning. I just finished up a quick shopping trip at Safeway and the in-store coffee shop beaconed. I ordered a small regular coffee and a carmel something-or-other for my son. The woman, working solo, was a very light speaker with a very thick accent. She asked me a question and I couldn’t hear what she was saying. I asked her to come closer and repeat the question and she waved me off. Curious. Apparently the question wasn’t that important. Or at least she didn’t think that I was that important to bother her with re-stating the question. Maybe I am making too much of this. The coffee was decent. But, if I am going to pay a premium price for coffee I should get premium service as well. If I had it to do over: I’d skip Starbucks and drive down the road to Greenberry.

I wonder if it was the quiet girl who was working solo at the end of lunch rush was the same one that Neal encountered on his visit. Four of us in line and the one grouchy lady was holding us all up. I’d been hoping that this Starbucks location would be faster given that it’s tucked inside a Safeway, but no dice. She made my dark cherry mocha frappé correctly though, despite the smarmy complaints of the loud customer. The other location on Sterling/Elden is actually more efficient because of multiple staff members, so I probably won’t return here.

This location is a Starbucks in a grocery store. I got the feeling that the young girl working the counter was not experienced with making espresso drinks. She was the only one behind the counter when I placed my order. I noticed she kept referencing a notebook while making my drink — a triple grande iced latte. The drink did not quite taste the way I thought it should — it tasted a bit weak — but I was craving some caffeine — so I did not make a stink and I left with my drink.
