Starbucks

My most frequent Starbucks as its most convenient to me before I go to work every single morning. I’ve grown attached to all the baristas here as we know each other from day to day good mornings and thank yous and I don’t like going in other Starbucks as much.

I just finished my white peppermint latte from this place and got my caffeine rush in. Now I’m at the library procrastinating on my studies by writing this review.
I figured I’d write it because this is a nice Starbucks. I usually avoid corporate places for local businesses but I can’t seem to find any local coffee shops around the Herndon/​Reston area. If anyone knows, please tell me. Anyways, I had to come to this one since I need to get my coffee fix. The white peppermint latte isn’t on the menu for now yet they made it anyway for me. I’m glad I asked because I ordered that drink the last time I was at a Starbucks so I’m glad they could whip it up again.
This location is also connected to the container store so you can go there afterwards and admire all the contraptions to hold your stuff in. Anyways enough about them, this review is about Starbucks!
Props to the morning employees for making my drink right. It should help me be more productive now that this review is complete!

I should have updated this quite some time ago. I kept giving this Starbucks a try, and I am glad that I did. After some conversations with the store manager (who is absolutely wonderful and really cares about her customers, store, and employees) and a few employee transfers to other stores the issues were resolved. This is the best Starbucks in the area again with friendly and efficient service!

I’m new to Unilocal,and this is my first review, so I wanted to give «my» Starbucks a 5 star rating and many thanks for their great service.
There are so many Starbucks locations in NoVa, and one would think that a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks… but no! The Fountain Drive location has got the friendliest and most fun ambience. All of the crew are great, and they take the time to chat when they can, and get to know you. I hit this place just about every work day since I work in Reston. When I used to work at the hospital it was a daily visit, and now that my work location is at the back end of Reston, I bypass two Starbucks in order to come here for my fix.
It makes such a huge difference to me to walk in here and get personal greetings from the wonderful staff. I don’t get the same friendliness at any other location. Love this place!

Please learn how to make an iced vanilla latte with four shots. At least 1 in 3 times I receive something not even close. Also, the older lady at the cash register is the slowest person I have ever seen/​experienced at a Starbucks. Even worse, the rest of the staff just leaves her dead in the water. Nobody is rushing to make the experience better for us waiting in line. The difference in service between the store in RTC and Plaza America is huge. You really need to up your game.

Great Starbucks location, friendly staff, quick service… after 1030 they tend to run out of the spinach feta wraps. They make their refreshers well unlike the other location in American plaza (yuck)

This is my favorite Starbucks. They are fast, friendly, and accurate. I sincerely love that I can rely on their consistency, and I have random orders that can leave room for errors. Regardless of when I visit, each shift is on point, and this has made them the overall best.

This Starbucks is now connected to the Container Store since Barnes and Noble is no longer here. It is a little weird and awkward and makes you just feel weird. I would rather go to the RTC but due to the holiday I didn’t have that option.

A Starbucks connected to The Container Store… I had no idea I needed to shop there while I wait for my latte.

Pretty cool Starbucks because it is right next door to the Barnes & Nobles. Unfortunately, the B&N is about to close down. Get’s pretty packed here though because it’s in Reston. Lots of people on their laptops.

First time I had a great cup of coffee at a Starbucks ! I don’t know what was different but after tasting the coffee I was impressed.

My quick, detour in the morning before heading to office in Reston Town Center. It’s usually a shorter line than the Starbuck in RTC next to Mortons.

This ones a trip… the people working in here seem to think its so cool, that they can talk amongst themselves or laugh at eachother while people are waiting to get their orders in.
I give this one star because they have messed up my drink more than they have gotten it right. One time, I was charged an extra shot because the register girl thought one of my drinks came with one less shot, so when I asked for a triple… I paid for it dearly!
Oh, when I confirmed with the Barista, he said, I will take care of that, I said its ok… he said no, its his duty. he goes and gets a free drink coupon. hands one to me… then I notice why he insisted. cause he snuck two out, and after giving me one, he slipped the other inside his pocket.
LAME. Makes me wonder, maybe they are effing up my drink to pull that hustle… j/​k. but no. shame on you. shame…

This Starbucks is consistently better than the one located in the Reston Town Center. They don’t take forever to make your drink — and they make your drink properly. It’s just off across from the Town Center — in the shopping center with the Best Buy.
It’s physically connected to the Barnes & Noble Bookstore — so you can walk in to the Starbucks from the bookstore.
It had been a while since I had been in here. When I went in this evening, I ordered an Espresso Dopio Machiatto. I asked the guy how much dairy product they planned on adding to the drink. He informed me that the drink is only supposed to get a bit of foam on top. I told him that was what I thought — I then told him what had happened to me at the Starbucks at the Reston Town Center — and that they had told me I had to order it «bone dry» if I wanted just that little bit of foam. He told me that was just plain wrong.
Anyway, my drink was really good!
