Food remains good, but service is sliding on wait times. Lot of time waiting for service and visits

My go to place! Great for a family night out. Good beer selection and they are always rotating the taps. Try the Beef on Weck. Can’t beat it!

Thanks to Meagan and Saturday Manager Mr. Sossi our high school baseball team had a fantastic Saturday evening at this Grill. We are a team of 25 and were travelling in VA from PA and were seeking a spot for the boys to have dinner and unwind after playing a doubleheader. When we called to see if the Grill could accommodate our group(just two days prior to our arrival), Meagan put together a menu of options for us within our price range. Mr. Sossi offered the group a congenial welcome and had the tables prepared for our arrival and the wait staff ready to take our orders. The food was terrific and satisfied the appetites of some very hungry baseball players. The atmosphere was perfect for the team to relax. Thank you for the hospitality you offered us. When we return to VA next spring we will definitely return.

I love the wings here and the bar staff is very friendly. Nice spacious location with tons of TVs. Beer selection is not that great, but other than that it’s decent place to go.

Probably a three and a half. It is on our list of close to the house and a decent place to go when we don’t feel like cooking, getting dressed up or wanting to spend much money. Wait staff a little inconsistent and the cooks are a little heavy handed with salt but we’ll return.

Good food and friendly service. You can always count on a good meal and running in to a friend or neighbor here.

2.5 Stars I got boneless wings to go. They are .60 cents on Wednesdays if you dine in though, so I was kicking myself a little over it. They were okay, not great. I got 12 with two flavors(bourbon and medium buffalo). The bourbon sauce was kinda nasty and too sweet. I coated it over in ranch sauce to change the taste. The buffalo was fine. The wings were pretty small considering they cost me $ 1 each, but when you eat 12, well, its filling anyways. The texture would have been better if it were a crispy, flash fried crunch on the outside but it wasn’t, it was kind of soft. Oh well!

Food is not so good. i had a Caeser salad for lunch — it just did not make the grade. Not enough sauce(had to ask for more), they could have spared a few more croutons, and the chicken was minimal and without taste. The ice tea was very week. It’s just not a good place. The service was typical — nothing great, nothing rotten… With that in mind, I will give it two stars.

My son and his family took us there for dinner last Sunday. Aside from the noisy fans watching NFL football, we had a positive experience. Decent pub grub at easy on the budget prices with top level service. Had a nice lunch at another store the next day before boarding the Amtrak Auto-train for home.

I LOVETHISPLACE!!! My fiancé and I accidentally found this place after we searched and searched for a Chilis. The closest was like 30 minutes from where we needed to be. So a little skeptical, and hungry gave it a shot. I am so happy we did. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed in with a big smile and a warm hello from the bartender, we sat down at the bar and ordered 2 Miller Lites. Since it was Labor Day and we were not close to a BBQ grill we decided to forget our calorie count and indulge in their burgers. OMG, one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection. My dear fiancé, didn’t speak to me at all as he ate(or I should say devoured) his burger. Service was excellent, the place was CLEAN which makes me very happy. We will definitely be returning.

We only go here when we get a ribs craving. Their ribs are good although the sauce is too sweet. The dining room is very noisy with families so if you have to take your toddler out no one will notice the screaming. Service is polite prompt and efficient. Beer selection could be better.

Big fan of this bar because I’ve been going here for years after Thursday night basketball. BUT, this bar does not get ESPN Deportes or MLS package and will reprimand you for asking the manager to change the channel to Fox Sports One.(Mind you, the Hooters Swimsuit Pageant was on — but FS1IS A SPORTSNETWORK, right?). And the wifi is shoddy. But other than that, great bar.

Cheese fries and boneless glory wings are the best items on the menu. Burgers are also very good as well as the old bay wings

Okay, maybe I was pushing it with my food choice in a sports bar. I had lunch at about 1:30 pm. The service was great, the place was clean. I chose the Cuban Sandwich which was marked«new» on the menu. I think it needs a little work. The meat was lacking, it should have ham and roasted pork and it did, but very little. The bread was not what it should have been. It seemed like it was in regular white bread when the original sandwich is a cross between white and French; and it should be pressed like a panini. However, it appeared it was prepared like a grilled cheese sandwich. Just my impression. I like Glory Days mostly for their burgers and wings. And of course the beer. The only reason for the«4» rating is because of the Cuban.

Service — it’s fast and they bring you what you need, It’s a bar, nothing else Menu: here lies the problem, if you want anything other than fried or the usual bar items, you are screwed, it’s all about covering everything in cheese or frying it. Burger: dry Cheese: gluten blob the rest: dont remember, Order an adult meal to be split for the kids because it was the only thing on the menu that had vegetables and did not include fries or bread. Was good, they ate it all.

Glory Days is a decent place to go to grab a quick bite and not miss your favorite sporting event on TV. Food is fine — you can save your«cheers» for your favorite team rather than what’s on your plate. This trip, two of us chose items off the seasonal menu. I tried the ravioli which was tasty but had entirely too much sauce on it. Not what I was expecting based on the description. After you let the sauce drip off — the ravioli was good. The sandwich — meat, fries, slaw — was pretty good. The third person in our group had wings and a salad — can’t usually go wrong with that. Wait staff has been better in the past than we had on this visit. This waiter could care less that we were there(until he brought the check and then he was suddenly animated and wished us a great evening). Overall, food is okay, usually quick, can catch your favorite game on tv and make it home at a decent hour. Great nighborhood hangout… usually see someone you know every time you go!

Glory Days as a concept is definitely A-OK. It’s the kind of establishment where you can depend on «your game» being shown on one of the many, many TVs, in the kind of environment where the beer flows inexpensively and the food served is your typical burger/wings/fried food/nachos fare. It’s a fine place for casual sports teams(like adult softball teams) to meet up after a game for some beers. It’s nice for high school or college age kids to hang out and get their fill of milkshakes, burgers, nachos, and a casual, fun sporty atmosphere. If you stick to that as your expectation and desired outcome, I don’t think you’ll be too disappointed. If you seek hard enough, you may find some«healthier» items as well. Personally, I love hot wings, but not the fried/bone-in type. I’m a fiend for that sauce! Fortunately, Glory Days does offer a basket of 8 grilled/boneless/skinless«wings» with your choice of sauce and the typical celery/dressing accoutrements. I do wish their«hot» sauce were hotter, but I have an elevated level of spice fiending. They also have a nice selection of turkey and bison burgers, plus a veggie burger that isn’t too terribly salty. Their french fries are okay, but I wish they weren’t the coated/crunchy style(again, it’s a personal preference). On a side note, we tried their chili for an appetizer the last time we were in, and neither my husband nor I weren’t feeling too well afterwards — it was the only common food we had consumed that day. Hopefully just bad luck/a fluke. In conclusion — a good place to stop if you have a large, loud group, want to watch sports, have children in tow, enjoy a cheap burger/beer, or some some of all of the above. Also, if you aren’t privy to any of the above-mentioned highlights of Glory Days, and you find yourself there, hunt and peck the menu carefully for the non-fried, non-breaded, non-dressing-covered items. They’re there.

I have been going to this Glory Days for a while and I think it gets better and better. I love that they change the menu seasonally. Now it is summer. The caprese salad seemed expensive at $ 10.99, but when it came to the table — it was huge. And the different heirloom tomatoes were at their peak. The mozzarella was a wonderful counterpoint to the bright acid of the tomatoes, the basil had the nice peppery punch you expect and the balsamic glaze brought it together. This is a salad that is only good when all the components are good. This one had everything you could hope for. We recently tried the shrimp and avocado cocktail. It was also large. For me, the dressing was too sweet, but it was fine for my husband(trade!!). We also tried the turkey BLT. I was suspicious of the Texas toast, thinking it would be too overwhelming. Not so — but the turkey(while tender, nicely seasoned and thinly sliced) was almost too much! See the picture. But, we managed to eat it all! In the fall, I thought their Teriyaki burger special was very tasty — messy, yes — but full of teriyaki, bacon and Asian slaw yumminess. I also thought their meatloaf was real comfort food. They do a great job with salads — I like either the grilled or fried chicken on them. Hard to say which was best. Service is always friendly and quick. The weekday manager is great — very helpful. And we finally went on a weekend day and that manager was very friendly as well. I had ordered the special Ruben and loved it. He recommend I try the corned beef and cabbage and said his favorite special was the shepherd’s pie, So, today I had the corned beef and cabbage. A HUGE thick slab of tender beef. A nice wedge of cooked cabbage. Some boiled potatoes and baby carrots. It was great — but so much that I had to bring home big piece of the meat. It won’t go to waste! Next time — shepherd’s pie!
