Domino’s Pizza

Called to place an order and could barely hear the dominos guy. Asked him for the specials thrice, he didnt answer initially then mumbled some gibberish. When I asked him to please repeat it again he simply cut the call. I called back and he said hello and cut the call again –_–
Third time another guy picked up the call, I asked to speak to the manager and he says manager will only come the next day morning. What kind of a place works without manager on duty? Horrible customer service, unprofessional and liars. Order elsewhere if you want better service.

Very bad location for dominos. It’s best to order from papa johns just a block away. I placed an order by the phone and went to the store 45 minutes later and the pizza still going to the oven. They always late and very bad service. No more domino from this location

They are always correct with the order and I am pleased with the speediness of service.

The last FIVE times I ordered from here I specifically bought extra garlic sauces for the cheesy bread, paid for it and everything, and so far have yet to actually get it. Next time if I really have to deal with this location again I’ll actually call them and tell them about it… I never corrected it before because really who wants to argue over garlic sauce?

They’re always quick, drivers are courteous, and my order is always correct. Can’t complain!

I hate to give them 1 star and that is solely for the driver. Ordered online, easy. Got the food in 19 mins! I do live 1 min away but still impressive.
Got a medium pizza and stuffed cheese bread. Open the pizza box and there is a black hair under and through the cheese. I called the store and spoke to a «manager»? He acted as if I was lying. He offered to give me a credit or hesitantly offered to send out another. I told him I either wanted my pizza or money. I know stuff like this happens, no biggy, just fix it.
So, 40 mins later I had not got the remake. I started out the door to go up there with the pizza. The driver was coming up to the door with the new pizza. I just handed him the «hairy pizza» and told him at that point I didn’t want the other. I asked for the money back for just the pizza and he tried calling the store to speak with the manager about it. Was on hold 5 mins at which point I told him just to credit me bc it’s –8 degrees out.
Don’t plan on using the credit what-​so-​ever but it was not the drivers fault. Hopefully they get their stuff together in-​store.

As far as Dominoes goes… it’s… Dominoes. You know what to expect with the pizza– at least, you should. It’s a chain restaurant and this location isn’t much different from others. Their pizza is decent, it’s an okay price, and they get their food to you fast. So why write a review? Their service.

This Dominoes location is good about making the food up fast and getting it to you quick. They do a better job of staffing on busy nights than other pizza places in the Herndon area (if you’re expecting delivery, which is really the only reason to order Dominoes in Herndon), so the food does usually still get to you hot/​warm. However, their drivers don’t read instructions given to them for delivery. I have dogs who don’t particularly care for strangers coming to the door. The dogs bark at strangers. And. Don’t. Stop.
There’s a simple solution to prevent their barking. Call when you get here instead of approaching the door. Whenever I order delivery from restaurants in the area, I give instructions to the drivers not to ring our doorbell, but to instead call when they arrive and I’ll meet them outside. Every other delivery service in the area manages to pull this off, and we never have to worry about settling the dogs down. But Dominoes. Every time I order from Dominoes they ring the doorbell. Every. Time.

I still order from here, because like I said– the pizza is decent (for Dominoes) and it’s fast. But it would be nice if they didn’t ask for «delivery instructions» if they don’t plan to follow the delivery instructions.

As Dominos goes, this one gets 5 stars from me. The orders are always correct, the delivery is really fast and the delivery guys are super friendly. I can’t complain!

Every time I’ve ordered from here the delivery driver never brings the dipping sauces that were ordered. The folks at the store are sloppy when putting the orders together and weren’t really all that concerned about it when they were informed. Not interested in this type of service when there are plenty of other pizza places in the area. Sub pare service for sub pare pizza.

I get that it’s just dominos, so I shouldn’t exactly expect some 5 star service right? Even still, this dominos location is the worst. Ordered here today and the guy who answered had ZERO customer service skills, and after I repeated my order FOUR times (because he kept asking me to) he STILL got it wrong and charged me for liters of soda but sent me the 20 oz bottles, and put cheese on the pizza that I specifically said NO CHEESE on because my boss is allergic. Won’t be ordering from Dominos again, the attitude received was unnecessary, and we were less than satisfied.

I’m a Jersey girl who was craving some Domino’s pizza and breadsticks… I thought that because it was a chain, it would be as good as back home. This WAS NOT the Domino’s pizza I know. It was disgusting. There was grease seeping through the boxes and absolutely no flavor (which usually comes from their sauce). It was like taking gross bread and sticking it in lard. If you want pizza, look elsewhere.

They hire idiots at this dominos. They don’t know how to take delivery orders and thinks its ok to hang up on customers.

For starters: It’s chain pizza, and it’s the fast food of pizza at that. If McDonald’s is Pizza Hut then Domino’s is Burger King. Domino’s can’t, won’t, will NEVER compare with artisan pizza, so if you’re a pizza snob or the kind of diner who believes that their pepperoni must come from a secret stash known only by a select few… well, uh, frankly you already know better.
But it’s Domino’s! They’re open late, they’re reliable and more importantly? They’re pretty cheap. There are always coupons a quick Internet search away. Their pizzas are salty, garlicky greasemonsters full of artery clogging love. Their sandwiches are surprisingly good for what they are (Do NOT look up the calorie count if you care about your physical well-​being. You may create a rift in space/​time) and their pasta bowls are reliable options.
I’m not too sure about their chicken wings though*. They just kind of sloppily fall apart as you try to eat them, are flavorless and… well, I’m pretty sure I heard one of them whisper «Thank you» as I bit into it. But we try not to talk of such things. Stick to the chicken kickers.
And I readily admit that I REALLY like Domino’s cheesesteak pizza. It’s disgustingly immaculate. True guilty pleasure.
This Domino’s in particular has always been fairly reliable, with fairly quick delivery and with (mostly) professional drivers. I’ve had some minor issues with them in the past, but management has been mostly good at resolving any problems.
* In all seriousness though: eww.

The Herndon Domino’s location is great if you’re in the market for a gross, processed chain pizza. Delivery can be slightly expensive, but I always order for carryout and have never had a problem with that.
Service here is generally great. On one occasion I went in to pick up my pizza only to find that they had mistakenly omitted a topping from it, and not realized it until afterward. But by the time I had walked in the door, they had already finished a new pizza to correctly fit the order, and I was given the second pizza for free. On another occasion, I was given a free pizza in addition to my order simply because it was a new brand of pie that the manager wanted me to try, and let him know my thoughts on it. It was good, FYI.

Do I need to write a review? Everyone loves Domino’s :) This Domino’s pizza is way way better compared to other famous pizza place in this area. There is some parking in front of domino’s but your best bet is the municipal parking lot (behind the hair salon across the street). Delivery is always quick even on busy nights.

Look, it’s Domino’s so you know you’re not getting world class pizza. I’m giving a good rating for the service at this location though. I live close enough to walk, so parking is never a problem for me. Service is always quick and staff is polite.
On my last visit, they went above and beyond. There was an issue with our carry out order (I think one of the drivers took my pizza by mistake). While they easily could have not said a word, re-​made the pizza and pretended the delay was just due to a busy Saturday night, they were upfront and admitted the mistake. To top it off, they provided us with extra food at no extra charge (and were very generous with what was provided).

Not a bad Dominos. Delivery can get a bit expensive though (i guess that’s Pizza in DC in general).
Unfortunately its a real pain to pick up from this location as there is really only street parking and that section of Elden Street is always a bit congested.
Service is quick and delivery seems rather swift. They have greatly improved since my last attempt of ordering from them in 2010. (Even though they are Herndon, they waited 45 min before calling me back an telling me i had to order from the sterling store, mind you i live in Herndon)
If Domino’s is your thing, order away, i am impartial but my fiancée is a fan, so i guess ill keep order.

I’m going to hell. Batted my lashes for extra cherry tomatoes in my salad (and that guy was proud of his crafting). You know that character Jeff on Chuck? Yeah, that guy but less bald and crazy-​eyed.
Pretty uncrowded location to pick up their freebie promotions when they roll around; most of their business seems to be deliveries, which is unsurprising since the space is entirely dedicated to register counter and kitchen. Menu built into wall and counter. The only thing you’ll be fighting for is a spot on the street, though there are lots further down Elden both ways if you don’t mind a walk. Tasted my coworkers’ philly oven-​baked sandwich and chicken alfredo breadbowl. Lackluster and carb central, respectively. Actually I guess both adjectives are applicable to both menu items.
