Owner an asshole! Service stinks and if you don’t know the musicians, the music isn’t really worth the trouble

The food is terrible. I ordered a hamburger without dressing, but ending up getting dressing on it. Yuck! The waiter took the food back to kitchen to scrap the dressing off and get me a new bun. The fries were soggy with oil. I did not receive my food till one hour later. They were behind on a lot of orders for other people. The lady next to our today asked me if I ate my fries yet. I said yes cuz I am so hungry after waiting for my food. She didn’t even get her food when she got seated before my table. The service was terrible. The waiter was not in a good mood since they were under staff, but anger and frustration shall not be placed upon the customers. They need better management and more staff on busy hours. I will not be returning to this place anymore.

This place is good anytime, most nights they have live music and offer a variety of different food. They serve only beer and wine but that’s ok. Come and check it out yourself.

First, let me tell you I don’t drink. I know. However, I have been here and played with my band before. From all of the hype we got fro friends, family, and others, everyone said they had a GREAT time here! From what I noticed, the bar area is a little tight, especially when a band pulls a nice crowd(but that also livens up a place, depends on your attitude about it). We ordered some nachos, and they were a decent size(good for 4 I would say), and they were pretty good(for bar food at least). Staff seemed to be attentive while we were there, and had no issues ordering drinks and food. Overall, the place was great.

Great place to get lunch. Very friendly staff surrounding you. Talented live band playing music while you eat. The food is also pretty good. The burger was nice and flavorful– simple yet delicious. The fries were below average though(they were flash fried.) Very simple place with very simple qualities.

Ahhh bar food. Oily, tasty, and big enough to feed an army. We ordered the Benny burger with turkey, instead of beef, and it was pretty good! A little on the oily side but flavorful.(Super cool that you can substitute any burger for turkey or a veggie patty!) The veggie patty was also very flavorful. All of their burgers are good. Order the clam chowder, totally worth it! The kid portions are pretty big, so be prepared to share. And for service, it was pretty good! Well it better be(we were the only people in the restaurant!) I didn’t get her name, but there was a young, blonde lady and she was very helpful. She was humorous and sweet! And there is also Manny! He was so funny and really full of life. Definitely coming back because of him. I think he’s a cook, but I heard he makes a killer drink if you ask him to. Overall a pretty good place if you want to listen to live music, eat oily food, and laugh at Manny’s jokes.

Disgusting. Our group was charged $ 19 for a pitcher of local pale ale that had it been Naja’s would have been half the price. Chips… yuck! Trivia was good though.

Been here an hour. Took 30 minutes to place our order, and it still ain’t here 35 minutes later. We had to go up to the bar to get more drinks. Won’t be back again. They need to staff the place properly.

Been going here for year! Lovely local bar. Good for kids. Open mic night is fun and they have Dodgers baseball!

Don’t understand all the good reviews about this place. Service is horrible & food just so… came only to listen to a friends band play. Because of the reviews we thought great place to have dinner while we listened to the music, should have just sat & listened outside. If you serve food you should have staff to accommodate the bar & food but these guys can’t seem to do either.

Omg… tip #1…if you’re a bartender, try not feel like you’re at home on the couch with nothing to do. Jesus!!! I mean… there’s slow and chatting with the locals, then there’s laying back, feet up, and engaging in conversation RIGHT after you just took an order. Then stepping outside to smoke a doobie while people are waiting for checks, their food, etc. If you are EVER in a rush… and i mean like if you want to make it back home before your next birthday. …avoid this place at all times. Oh, i almost forgot. .shortly after i sat down, she decides to discuss the city of Ferguson and what’s happenin out there for a group chat. Awkward! Then looks at me, and says«sorry, i didn’t mean to leave you out of the conversation». Awkward again! That was the 1st10 minutes.

Inattentive staff. Not the greatest location. Smelled like smoking is allowed there although never saw anyone smoking in there. Did see staff smoking outside and all the smoke wafting in through all the open doors and windows.

Live Music. Great food. Good vibes. Although it’s next to a crappy Big Lots and not near the pier, this place is a lil hidden gem in Redondo.

Tough to beat live music, all day happy hour Monday with two burgers for $ 8 and fries… All wrapped in a local dive bar jive… Want kick back casual with cold beer? Search no further.

Pretty good, little neighborhood bar. The food is quite good, featuring many Cajun dishes. Open mic on Tuesday evening always draws a good crowd. The stage and sound system are good.

I am posting my review now since I heard Ragin Cajun left the premises and it’s too bad that it didn’t work out. I think it was probably a good idea that it didn’t work out. Came here twice when it was Ragin Cajun. If something fails once, I always believe that coming back to give it a 2nd or 3rd chance would be fair. The first time it took over 2 ½ hrs. It was the first week when Ragin Cajun collaborated the partnership. I figured it was b/c of the new menu… new clientele… new everything etc. My coworker vowed never to come back with me. I come back a 2nd time w/another coworker/friend. Again, service was horrible and the waitress had no clue what she was doing. When she messed up on the order she took no responsibility of the mistake and said it was my friend that told her that was what she ordered. I was there and heard her explain to the waitress what she would like. On top of that, her order included a side to choose from and she choose hush puppies. The waitress said her order does not include hush puppies even though the menu said it did. W/out making a fuss, she ordered a side order of hush puppies. The hush puppies never arrived. We tried to flag down the waitress numerous times and she ignored us. By the time our order came out, our lunch hour took over 2 hrs. She never apologized for the delay and she STILL charged my friend for the hush puppies that she never got. I must say the collaboration was a great idea but unfortunately for us regulars who have always dined at Ragin Cajun, it was just not the same. The owner and his sister were great when they were there but when they weren’t, it was a whole different atmosphere and the waitresses just had no clue about the bayou, it’s food and it’s menu… Suzy’s is only good for regulars who frequent there(they treat their clientele much better than anyone else who doesn’t frequent there) and it’s good for bar food only.

the management here is so disrespectful, kicking you out before they are supposed to close and calling you names after you have spent all this time buying drinks and spending their money Don’t go here!

A Cajun restaurant — open mic concert– biker bar — fusion restaurant! They have a great sampler plate with crawfish, fried fish, and shrimp. They have unique sauces and some interesting flavors for drinks. Try their homemade pink lemonade, its very tasty. The food here is A ok, but the music is awesome. Great bands, great vibes and beautiful women working at the bar! Overall a great music-biker bar– cajun restaurant without all the«beach city pretentious» attitude. Even if you are not looking to get food, a great place to hang out and get appetizers with friends!

Suzy’s and their Rajun Cajun food is very good. The little dive-bar atmosphere is fun… is it a biker bar? is it a blues bar? who knows!!! what I do know is… the live music is very, very good… the food is pretty good… and beer is cold. beer, beer, beer. Lookin’ forward to more from you Suzy’s…bring it on!
