I really like these burgers and the fries are awesome. $ 2 burger day attracts locals for lunch, thanks!
That said, as someone who comes here about 2 – 4 times a month, please please please stop playing the song «boardwalk» incessantly.
No joke, my buddy here just said we should go outside to avoid the song and I had show him this review I’m typing.
So yeah, we get it, there’s a song with the same name as your restaurant. There’s 20 different remakes of the song, there’s a marching band version. Just please. No more.
While I typed this, the marching band version came on. Christ.

This place is the best. Make sure you put vinegar on your fries and some old bay. It’s amazing! Great place to grab a bite with your friends or kids. Great value for the beach too. Sometimes they have a $ 2 Turkey burger. This is my go to for beach snacking

My visit today exceeded my expectations, tremendously! I was welcomed with a warm and welcoming smile by Kevin (this isn’t the first time he’s done this btw) and my order was taken by Courtney. She kept a smile on her face the entire order and also as she brought out my order. They have this awesome promo when you buy a large beer and you get 25 cents off of your next one! Awesome deal! The food was delicious and I can’t wait until my next visit! Thank you Kevin and Courtney!:)

If you’re gonna hire someone to take orders they might want to understand English. Ordered burger and fries asked for no salt on fries like I do everywhere and fries came salted. I brought back to counter and she added more salt. Sat back down to try and enjoy my average tasting burger and it had bacon that was super limp and hardly cooked. Some guy came asking how the food was I told him horrible and he brought new fries that were not the #1 fries they say and bacon was still undercooked. You should just close down how bad the food and service is here.

While the burgers and fries look appetizing, they strangely lack character and flavor. You’re better off going across the street to Umami or up the block to Rockefeller. Hell, I prefer In-​N-​Out, Smashburger, Red Robin, The Counter, Five Guys, and a slew of other places to Boardwalk.
The reason we visit is location. Boardwalk is right off the HB pier. After a hot day, it’s not a bad place to duck in with the kids for some A/​C, a clean bathroom and a beer. Most notably, locals eat here to escape the heat and bad food served at the semi-​annual Fiesta Hermosa street fair.

Blech. Burgers were very thin. Think McDonalds patties. My daughters was covered in Orange spices. They acted put out when we asked for it to be remade. I ordered the grilled ahi. The fish was so thin it was practically transparent. Super dried out as a result. The bun was ten times the volume of the protein and stale. The thinnest sliver of avocado on the tuna. Super cheap. The bathroom was disgusting and there were flies everywhere. Go elsewhere.

Yum! Burgers were really juicy and good. Fries were on hit. Almost reminded me of my fave Buds Burgers fries from the Bay Area. Initially this meal was bought as a snack for the kiddos and I but they scarfed it down. Thank goodness for the BOGO meal. Although the wait for food was longer than I thought it was still very good. Awesome staff too!

This place is a good spot to grab a quick burger with plenty of space to hang out with 15 of your closest friends outside. It also has a great Unilocal check in deal which will save you $$$. A huge plus is they have parking!

Got a meal and it was really affordable. Fries, burger and a drink for around $ 7 and change. The fries were a bit overdone but so good, I ate them all. The burger was tasty for the $ and the bun was absolutely delicious and fresh, as was the lettuce and tomato. The music they play is awful. They play a lot of played out top 40 to include such hits as «Who Let The Dogs Out» and other crap that might prevent one from enjoying the beachey local.

Below average burgers. They have heavy competition in town, and this food just doesn’t make the cut. The burger patties are small and the prices are high for what you get.
They have a really friendly staff and great location, but that’s not enough to suffice in this area.

Burgers and fries are good but I come here for the milkshakes :) they are delicious! Hand scooped ice cream, the only thing is they don’t mix flavors. But I always have a friend get mint chip and do a half and half with chocolate.

Ive been coming here every now and then for a year or so. The burgers are pretty good and they have specials on certain days where the burgers are 2 dollars. Also, they have 2 dollar rolling rock on certain days.
The manager/​cook is pretty friendly and open to suggestions on the menu. Even offered to make a certain kind of salad if I wanted it. Its a kid friendly place as well.

If you come here on a Wednesday and get their special coupon, you won’t be disappointed. The burgers are solid… not like the best thing I’ve ever eaten but also pretty fresh and with plenty of options. I don’t know that I’d come here without a coupon or deal, but you really can’t beat the prices when they have a special going on!

Huntington Beach, CA
This is the second time I’ve stopped by here. Their burgers are made fresh, cooked to order and offer a choice of wheat or white buns. I opted for the wheat and dressed it up with tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, white onions, ketchup and mustard.
The burger starts out at 3.5 ounces, so not quite a quarter of a pound. It’s on the small size, but tasty, juicy and fresh. The first time I ate here they didn’t offer me a choice of white or wheat buns, just the white bun. I prefer the wheat bun by far.
I have yet to try their fries, as they claim they are some of the best. They have a BOGO for burger, fries, drink when u check in. They also offer a wacky Wednesday burger special for $ 2. Nothing fancy, but just a good ol fashioned burger.

Plus a star for the fries. Otherwise this place would be a flat out 1 star. One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had, really not much different than a McDonald’s patty with fancier toppings. Umami Burger’s right across the street, for the love of all that’s good please go there instead if you’re itching for a burger.

This place is has decent burgers with plenty of options to choose from for toppings and sauces. If you check into Unilocal,you can get a buy one get one free burger option. So two burgers, two fries, two drinks came out to $ 9.54! Great deal! And it’s right on the block of the beach so you can grab a bite after or before swimming. The fries were on the sweeter side but was fried nicely. It wasn’t bad for what it was.
