I am actually suprised. This place is right on Pier Ave in Hermosa Beach.
A girlfriend and I stopped by to do a wine tasting. I will have to say she pulled selections that were great– a little inconsistent with the wine types though. If we are doing chards, stick to chards. Lets not go from white to red to white again.
The lady there (owner?) pulled 3 selections for 7 dollars (that is fine)…but then when I decided what wine I actually liked and inquired about a bottle of it– she did not have it available!
I just find that kinda strange. When inquiring when I can pick up the bottle of wine I selected (it would have gone great with a chicken dish I was making that next week for some guests), she said it would be in stock in about a week. I never got a call. I left my number and my email address.
I just think its strange business not to have the bottle of wine you are recommending a tasting for «in stock», and then not to call your customer when it is.
Ive done a lot of wine tastings and was just not impressed.
So I went to Brix Wine and had it ordered.
