I will say I was shocked to find this place. Some great pizza, first of all pizza by the slice is my favorite. I can choose different kinds of pizza or items without committing to a single type or toppings. Plus the pinwheels are awesome. It was my first time and so when I go again if I get this same amazing service, food and for such a great deal. They will definitely get a five star from me. Because the staff and manger/owner was awesome. He went around and checked with everyone from the main dinning area and the full service sit-down side. He really seemed to enjoy what he did and it shows in the product. The overall taste was great and I was a big pizza guy but a personal note. In the past few years some particular places give me horrible heartburn not sure if it’s the ingredients or if the sauce is to heavily saturated with chemicals or preservatives but two guys sauce was great. It first of all no heartburn and everything from the cheese, the crust and the toppings were great. I will be back and soon, with friends.

I’ve been to this restaurant three times in the last two months and every time they have overcharged me for my meal. When I brought it up to the waitress, she informed me that the new owner raised all the prices but has not changed the menus yet so everyone ordering dinner gets overcharged on every invoice. She commented that hardly anyone notices, but if they notice and complain, they will correct the bill. they did not seem to care that it was illegal to show customers a menu with one set of prices and then charge customers a different set of prices. I don’t appreciate unethical, dishonest people so I will not be going there any longer but I just wanted to warn individuals who go there to check their invoice. they’re probably being overcharged much more than the menu prices.

Went on Unilocal looking for some good pizza… found 2 guys with some pretty good ratings. Placed a take out order for an 18″ half cheese and half pepperoni… said it would be 20 minutes… but took over 25 minutes… so ok, busy on a Friday night, but they apparently did not take the time to clean the old burnt crust from the oven, so when they put the pizza in the oven… the old crust was burnt to the new crust… checked the pizza from the top when it was picked up… looked ok from the top… took it home and first bit… like eating charcoal briquettes. Called the restaurant just to let them know… I did not have the patience or time to go back… first and last time at 2 guys…

This is absolutely my favorite pizza place! It’s so good and you should try it! They used to carry this super amazing shrimp and strawberry salad which unfortunately they no longer carry but I still come for the pizza! Two thumbs up!

Two guys pizza was pretty good. There were some pros and cons to the restaurant but overall I would suggest giving it a try if you are looking for good pizza. Pros: The service was friendly and fast, the pizza is cheap, and you get a ton for what you pay for. I think the lunch special I got was 2 huge pieces of pepperoni and a drink for like $ 7. Awesome deal! Cons: The pizza was extremely greasy. When they heated my slices up prior to giving them to me, they left them in too long and burnt the bottom and made the crust very crunchy. Again, I’d suggest giving them a try because it’s a good option for lunch.

Normally I love this place! It’s local, and it’s actually close to my house. Pizzas are always tasty, garlic knots are THEBEST, and ever had a pizza pinwheel? You must! Only slight comes for my most recent order: ordered a Hawaiian(which I have before with no complaints), but for some reason this last time something was off: I think it may have been the dough. Not sure why it was less than delicious this time, but for the first time ever, my husband and I did not dig in for seconds(or thirds!) nor did we eat the leftovers. Hopefully it was just an off shift/day; I will definitely be ordering again, hoping for the goodness to return!

We came here on a Monday evening and made it in for happy hour at the bar. Our drinks were a great price for happy hour. Our bartender recommended some pizzas to us, we ended up each getting a personal size pizza. My husband got the Buffalo Chicken pizza and that was delicious. Growing up near NY means we are used to certain types of pizza standards and this one delivered. The buffalo chicken pizza had the perfect amount of buffalo sauce on there and a good amount of chicken pieces. I got the spinach tomato and feta pizza which has a garlic and olive oil base to it. It was pretty good but I would have preferred marinara sauce on there, which doesn’t necessarily make it a bad pizza, just my personal preference. They were out of garlic knots so we did not get to try those although our bartender offered to go in the back and make some for us. We told her we would just have to come back and try it some other time although we really appreciate the gesture!

Good pizza, good pinwheel, good marinara. The best part was the warm friendly service. Pizza crust wasn’t as crispy as I’d hoped it would be(I ate in the shop, ’cause no crust can stay crispy in a box.) I wanted to give it more stars, but I also wanted more interesting veggie pizza options and a crispy crust.

We’d been visiting my 90 year old dad in Williamsburg, where we’d eaten with them… «We enjoy our big meal at midday.» We’d gotten to Richmond and while stopping for gas, decided to pop in for a pizza to take with on the road. We went in and hung out with the few kids who were probalby there either before or after a movie, ordered some veggie white pizza and waited. It came in a reasonable time, we gulped down a couple pieces, it was great. Packed it up and hit the road, ate in on arriving home. So its a nice non chain pizza place, creative menu, good pizza.

Stopped in while waiting for car to be worked on. Had a chicken Parmesan sandwich. Roll was on the small side, but order of fries was more substantial. Slices of pizza were impressive. Was disappointed that no one told me about lunch special and it wasn’t advertised either. If I were to go back, I would try the pizza, just need to make sure crust isn’t burnt. Saw that occur several times during lunch today.

We ate in the new addition of the restaurant and it was a great experience. We ordered two pizzas and they came out with toppings all the way to the crust. The pizzas tasted great. They servers were great too! Looking forward to coming back and trying the homemade pastas.

Stopped in for a late night snack with the kids. We arrived just at the right time, as the bum-rush of kids coming from the Regal theatre, next door, happened as soon as I ordered. The pizza was delicious; service quick and courteous. Closest thing to NY pizza since I left New York!

This place just gets better. It’s been enlarged and is in a great shopping center right next to the movie theater.

DH has eaten here before and had really built up my expectations as having some of the best pizza in Richmond. We ditched in here to grab a quick bite to eat before seeing a movie next door. We ordered a whole pie and a couple of drinks. The pizza was prepared and served quickly and with very friendly service. It was tasty but not quite the knock-my-socks-off-treat I thought might be in store. Upon digging in, DH said he thought he liked getting pizza by the slice because the crust had a chance to crisp up more(we like thin and crispy crust) when the slice was put back in the oven before being served to you. So the next time we come back,(and I will happily give this place another try) we will opt for two-slice-special instead of sharing a whole pie. Plus, those garlic knots looked awfully good!

Richmond, no offense, but most of your pizza just doesn’t do it for me. I like to think that I’m not a pizza snob, I just like a crispy crust pizza that doesn’t turn soggy or greasy with time. Bonus points for a tasty sauce and variety of toppings. I think I have found my favorite pizza place outside of Upstate NY. –Food: My fiancée and I both got a 2 Slice Special which contains two slices, 3 garlic knots, and a drink. I had Pepperoni+Sausage and a Buffalo Chicken, and she had two Cheese. The Buffalo Chicken slice was one of the best Buffalo Chicken slices I’ve ever had, and the Pepperoni one did not disappoint either. Honestly, the slices are pretty filling and I think 1 Slice and 3 Garlic knots would have sufficed. The pizza itself is like what I’m used to from the majority of Pizzeria’s from Upstate NY. The crust isn’t thick or deep dish, but it’s also not super thin to a point where it sags. It was a nice thickness plus firmness and they reheat all of their slices in a crisping oven prior to serving, crisping the underside to develop a much missed«crunch» that I just haven’t seen from other pizza places around the area. Maybe this isn’t how Virginia has grown up with their pizza, but for me this is the absolute best thing I could have asked for and the thing I’ve missed the most. The actual sauce and cheese is pretty good as well! Definitely not bland like some of the ones I’ve tried around here. I greatly appreciate the variety of slices available such as Buffalo Chicken(which was fantastic). Since you buy it by the slice you can mix and match your slices if you get a couple. The garlic knots were fantastic as well. They’re very straightforward buns with some sort of light oil on them with minced garlic on top. They come along a marinara sauce, but honestly they are great on their own. –Cost: Slices are $ 2 for Cheese, $ 3 for Specialty /Topping pieces. Cheese Combo(2 Cheese Slices, 3 Garlic Knots, Large Soda) is $ 6.50 and the Specialty Slice Combo(Same thing just any slices they have available) is $ 8.00. There are some subs and appetizers available, but as the name indicates, Two Guys features a menu focusing almost entirely on pizza. –Atmosphere: The actual restaurant is right next a large Regal movie theater. The traffic and parking lot makes it a little difficult, but parking across the lot in the shopping plaza lot alleviates parking lot woes. –Service: People who have made negative statements about service must have experienced something entirely different than I did. The staff that worked there seemed like awesome guys. I’m not sure if they are the«Two Guys» mentioned in the title, but my guess is they might be. They don’t ask you about your family and your life but they answered my questions about their pizza and overall seemed like cool guys. –Overall: I’m a huge fan. I’ve had generally mixed opinions about pizza in Richmond this far with problems mainly being soggy crusts or odd proportions of sauce and cheese. Two Guys doesn’t seem to have these problems and also adds that fantastic crunch from their warming oven. As they specialize in slices, it’s possible that you could get a slice that isn’t fresh, but we didn’t experience anything like that. I’m not trying to be a pizza snob, but Two Guys’ NY Style Pizza is by far my favorite pizza I’ve had since moving here. I will definitely be returning and trying more of their slices and likely getting another Buffalo Chicken slice. If you want crispy NY Style pizza, go here, you will not be disappointed.
