Steve’s Burgers West

Always courteous and I always get what I ordered. Best B.L.T. In town (expensive but worth it). The great thing is that if you’ve been a customer for a while they treat you like family, that makes a huge deal to someone like me. That’s why I keep coming back.

Excellent customer service. A bit of a wait since fish need to be prepared but so worth it :-}Excellent fish sandwich! Did not skimp on sauce, fish, lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had pastrami and said it was very good, he was stuffed!

Not sure if this place has a new owner or what, it’s been renovated and updated, looks good. Fried zucchini by the way, bomb! I had a craving for it all day and it was totally satisfying. Bacon cheese burger was delicious, they could have cooked the fries a little longer, no big deal. I forgot about this place, I’m coming back again next week.

In Hemet as any town in Southern California there are TONS of small burger joints to choose from! This can make it so hard when trying to decide where to randomly stop and get a tasty burger! The hubby and I have now been twice. Once for a burger and once for breakfast! Both meals were super tasty and had HUGE portions!
I had a cheesburger and the hubby had the pastrami! It was very lean and juicy but a little dry. My burger was really good! It was perfectly cooked and had that char taste to it that you just miss when you get a burger cooked on a griddle top! Like most fast food places use.
The fries were crispy and tasty and their homemade ranch is thick and awesome!
For breakfast we tried the biscuits and gravy and a short stack of pancakes. They aren’t giving away the food, but you do get large portions so you can easily share if the cost is too high. The pancakes were fluffy and perfectly cooked! There is another breakfast place right around the corner and I will not be going back there! Steve’s will be my go-​to for breakfast food!

This Steves, which is on Sanderson near Florida, is clean, and the food is very good. Their fries are the bomb. Portions are large. Every time we order fries and burgers for two, it’s easily 25.00. If you ask for extra sauce of any kind they Nickel and dime you. Other than that, we like it.

Best damn burger in ages… Not including the Lumber Mill in Idyllwild, California but comparable. For under $ 4 you get a patty bigger than a Bic Mac in weight. It’s designed perfectly. Clean restaurant and super friendly staff. You order and they deliver to table. It’s efficient.
They have wifi too.
I ate just a burger and was plenty. If you love Five Guys or similar you may appreciate the value here. One regular burger is plenty!!!
Great taste and toppings included tomatoes, onion, pickles and lettuce plus a special sauce like thousand islands. All fresh tasting. They also serve ice cream and shakes.

This place is not intended for those who want fast service, because the person in front of us took 25 minutes for hardly nothing. I’m not going to recommend this to anyone. You might want to go to Tommy’s Burger on the corner of Florida St…

I don’t expect food at a place like this to be fantastic. I hope it will be decent, but what I’m really looking for is fast service. Sorry, Steve’s let me down on both counts. Homogenized, tasteless food, served excruciatingly slowly. You decide.

Maybe I just have bad luck when I come here, the times I have come they always get something wrong, they’re really rude, forget something in my order, or the food is bad. I try and give it more chances but it doesn’t work out. They should really ask east how they run things because I rather drive across town to them and be happy with my meal and experience.

The food is good and the service is exceptional! We stopped in there one morning for a quick breakfast and the staff told us how happy they were that we came in, and they appreciated us. My husband went back for the following two days because he enjoyed the meal so much and the great service. Several of the people who went in with us that first day said they also had gone back again because of the good food and service.

I was really excited to try the fried mushrooms, but when I got home and opened the bag, they were onion rings. How does someone mistake «Fried Mushrooms» for «Onion Rings»? Disappointed. I ordered the Gyro and it was good. I thought they served breakfast all day because the Steve’s Burgers on Florida Ave. sells breakfast all day, but this location on Sanderson does not. I might return again, to try those fried mushrooms, but hopefully my order isn’t wrong next time. They are also a bit expensive, but the food quality is better than your average drive-​thru.

One of the best burgers I have ever enjoyed anywhere and I know my burgers. I eat burgers out at least twice or more each week for years and in many places. Including Five Guys, Carl’s,
In N Out, Red Robin, Burgerville, White Castle, etc etc etc. Steve’s is as good as any privately owned place I have eaten burgers.

I have been going to Steve’s locations for 20 years and I can say I started at Steve’s east but Steve’s West is the best now. Their original breakfast Burrito with a side of salsa is hands-​down the best breakfast burrito or anytime burrito you’ll ever have in your life!

Everytime i go the food is always good. I just stick to their burgers. But yes, the girls there are so rude!

My bf and I had gone here a few months ago because we were craving onion rings. They were so bland but we dunked them in so much of their ranch dressing it kind of made up for it. The ranch dressing was actually really good. What made me thing would be any better when I went back. This time we got an order of chili cheese fries. Another disappointment! The fries were undercooked and they were just terrible and we didn’t get ranch to drown them in. At the very least the cheese was good and the food was hot temp wise. I seriously give up on this place. On to the next…

The breakfast burritos are AMAZING! I come here every Saturday for a breakfast burrito and I’ve had them all. The rest of their breakfast, lunch can and dinner me he looks good as well.
My only complaint is every time I’ve come in here I’ve had to wipe down my own table. The tables are always messy, I wish the employees cleaned the tables after each customer. That’s why this place got 4 stars from me and not 5.

At this Steve’s location they have a Turkey Bacon Melt that’s really good. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with Steve’s burger… they’re pretty consistent. Sourdough Bacon Cheeseburger is another of my favorites as well as the Chicken Strip dinner. Fries are better if you ask for them «extra crispy» with a side of ranch dressing, in my opinion. Reasonably priced.
Service is fast and freindly.

We were out here in Hemet for a softball tournament and saw this place close to our hotel had great reviews.
I got the Assa Burger with bacon and avocado and my daughter got a bacon cheeseburger. Both were delicious. We stayed with just fries as a side and they were good.
The place was busy on a Friday night and we still got out food quick.
My daughter ordered a cookies and cream shake and it was also very good.
The reviews don’t lie. Would definitely try again if were in the area.

18 mins on the phone to attempt to make a delivery order for 4 people. New employee + computer system not working = very frustrated and dissatisfied customer. When the fast food order total came to $ 44.10 for 4 people and then a 45 min wait to get the order. I had to cancel it and I am throwing away their menu.

The fried zucchini and mushrooms are exceptional. I can honestly say the zucchini has more flavor than Farmer Boys.
However, I have to knock down a 4 star review to 2 stars because of their customer service. I don’t know if their jobs are difficult or stressful but every time I come to the counter, I feel as if I am wasting their time. The eye rolling and the exasperated sighs; did I walk back into high school?
