I love this buffet! Always great food and friendly service. I just wish the senior citizens that dine here often, keep to themselves. Almost every visit we are interrupted by some random elderly person standing next to our table trying to start a conversation with us. It’s very friendly of them but at the same time a little bothersome when we are trying to enjoy our meal. We’ve had to switch tables a couple times because they would not leave us be. It’s was quite uncomfortable.

I don’t know why people have such an issue with this place. Whenever I go, everything is hot, fresh, and delicious. It’s a great deal for all you can eat and you have the option of buying a to go cup for 1 $ that I just use to share between my husband and I, then I make a root beer float in it to go! They have all you can eat steak and shrimp on mon. and tue. and you can have them cook you a piece of steak just the way you like if you ask. On fri. right now they do salmon and butterfly shrimp for dinner! There is so much to choose from the salad bar, unlike sizzlers wannabe salad bar. People think you have to gorge yourself at a buffet or that there are not healthy choices there, but they are delusional. Everyone is friendly and helpful, they have a variety of desserts from hot fudge sundae cake to banana pudding beautifully decorated with vanilla wafer cookies and whipped topping. There are also sugar free options available. Seriously everyone, stop being so cheap and see this place for what it really is, a place where you can design your own dinner for one price, you cannot eat anywhere else that allows you to do that without additional charge.

Another fond memory of Hemet for me, the place dad and I would always meet for lunch before his passing in August. For a buffet, always decent food. I always enjoy the fried and baked chicken. The macaroni and cheese is tasty as well as their corn and potato salad. And the dinner rolls and cornbread are to die for! I recommend lunchtime over dinner, due to the bump-up in prices. I’ve never found this place to be unclean and have always had a positive experience with the staff.

Why is this place so dirty? Attention to detail please. If you want to have a small selection of food, make sure every offering is outstanding.

The food is what it is buffet food. The customer service here is great. The tables are always being cleaned and with a smile. I love that they have milk as part of their drink selection. The pot pie is good and the orange chicken is always on point.

It’s a pretty good buffet for the price. They have a military discount and even deeper military discounts on Mondays. We went on a Sunday at lunch. Everything was well stocked. All the employees were very courteous.

Horrible food!!! Everything was blah you could tell it was all frozen. Enchiladas were ice cold, pizza rock hard. Offered lots of nasty potatoes or beans you know cheap stuff for not a cheap price. Nothing tasted good and yet all the staff kept saying it taste great doesnt it. No I told them its pretty nasty. Will not return.

Business has closed down. They must have had some ongoing issues because their food & health ratings fluctuated between an A and B rating. Not a good sign.

Food is OK but they don’t keep up on filling the buffet so a lot of empty trays and it takes a long time before they fill them, under staffed slow to clear plates or check on you, but friendly. it also could use a good cleaning. and no sugar free desert.

Food not very good same menu everyday and building smells old. The price is fair but we had a coupon that said it does not expire yet they didn’t accept it asked to speak to manager who pretended she couldn’t do anything. The kids were looking forward to it so we stayed. But for the price and all you can eat for a week would not be worth the hassle and embarrassment we endured over a coupon was not worth it

The Home town buffet in Hemet Ca could use alot of improvements such as a more wider selection on the buffet. table. There is NO sugar free deserts for people like me who have diabetes whats so ever. and a very small selection of desserts anyway. The ladies bathroom was a disaster.

Been to quite a few Hometown’s but by far this is the best one to date. Chicken cooked all the way through. Pot roast is like grandmas, mac & cheese is flavorful and fresh. What it lacks in size, it sure makes up for in fine dining. The staff is very attentive and friendly, definitely a repeat place. A+ guys.

Good food, fresh fruit is nice. It would help if you had trays for older people who cannot hold 2 dishes because of shaking hands. This is a place where you get a lot of elderly and families. Dad or mom would probably appreciate a tray also so they can get a plate for kids and themselves. Lo ve the new skillet meals. Steak and other sliced items are dry sometimes. Price a bit high for seniors that don’t eat as much as others. Agree that bathroom needed help. Would appreciate some stir fry veggies and less pepper on the fried chicken.
