Friendly, fast, & really, really good! Pizza baked at home is the freshest you can get, and these guys do it right. NOTE: there are TWO Papa Murphy’s in Helena, and I’ve consistently, gotten the best service, most friendliness, and speed at the one in the Helena valley, just off Montana Ave(at 1151 Partridge Pl, 406−442−1975).

New York is supposed to have the best pizza in the country, right? WRONG! I assure you I haven’t had a better pizza than from anywhere else than Papa Murphy’s in Helena Montana!!! I’m not even that big of a pizza fan — but I get hard core cravings for this stuff! The pizzas are(as the name implies) «take in bake.» Homemade crust, piled high with toppings, cheese, sauce(a conglomeration of what I like to refer to as, «The Goods»)…and wrapped up for you to take and pop in the oven at home. Great for parties/quick dinner… whatever. Try the Gourmet Chicken pizza — it’s killer! They also keep a stock of cookie dough that you can buy in little tubs to bake chocolate chip cookies at home. Muah* i heart this place. These guys are relatively quick with preparing them — you can even call in an order to pick up. And it’s cheap!!! Sorry NY — you have yet to impress me with pizza!

People are going to say that I’m crazy, but this«take’n’bake» pizza chain makes one of the best pies I’ve ever had. The idea is brilliant, especially in a place like Helena where it’s not uncommon for people to live 30 miles outside of town. This way, we can always have delicious, fresh, hot pizza. When I’m home, I insist upon consuming a slice or two of the«Chicago-style» pizza. It’s not so much like a pizza from Chicago, but it’s huge, heavy and full of deliciousness.
