While traveling in Healdsburg for several days, we were looking for a a quick dinner and did a search for Tacos. This place came up and it looked exactly like what we were looking for. It’s a small kitchen/​dining area in the back of a small grocery store. They serve tacos, burritos and some combination plates and specials. My wife and I each ordered pastor, steak and carnitas and loved all of them. Highly recommend.

Why 5 stars? Inexpensive, delicious, convenient and comfortable.
This is the best taqueria in Healdsburg hands down. Also the best Mexican food at the cheapest prices — and a very nice place to sit and enjoy the food! They have beer in the cooler — so everything is there; no excuses for not getting an inexpensive lunch in Healdsburg — and it’s «downtown» — but not so «downtown» that you cannot find parking.
The market is also «the best Mexican market in Healdsburg». It is the «Big John’s» of Mexican food. Nice selection of Mexican goodies with some upscale condiments and beers.

This place is great. Don’t listen to these other amateurs. Their ingredients are high quality. It’s real food made by real people. Their customers are real people too. No tourists. Huge selection of meats, produce, chili peppers, tortillas. Menu is simple and prepared food is delicious. Their mole is phenomenal. Deep flavors, not overly complicated. Not garnished with micro greens or stupid stuff like that.

Just left there, got home and my order is missing 3 of the 5 items we ordered. Won’t even touch the tacos. Based on the quality of the meat, it might be saving my life. El Sombrero is a much better option.

Where do you find great food inexpensively in Healdsburg? Right here at this little gem. Huge burritos, mole any way you like. Oaxacan cooking at its best. The salsas have heat and flavor in the right balance. Very nice gals behind the counter. They are connected to the meat and seafood counter. The market is well stocked and they have fresh pan dulce too. Take care of that burrito fix here.

Huge, tasty plates, burritos, etc. in a town that has priced out many folks looking for a cheap, hearty lunch. It’s located in the back of a small grocery store and has a small dining area. It’s short on charm, but the food was good and the price was right.

I have hit every Mexican restaurant/​taqueria in Windsor & Healdsburg… hoping… wishing for something that was similar to the taquerias in San Francisco and today I have found it!
the only downer– the gal spoke very little english so one of my three burritos was screwed up, but taste wise: Casa De Mole hit it out of the park!
