I usually order through the subway app and just pick up in person rather than order inside and haven’t really had any big problems so far. A minute after I placed an order(through the app) the other day, I immediately received a call from them asking if I’d like to substitute one bread for another – they were out of my original choice… not a big deal, I appreciate the call! I do wish they had raspberry cheesecake cookies the last two times I ordered tho! XD

They just used the same knife to cut my veggie footling after they cut a meat sandwich! The lady didn’t even understand the difference of what she did wrong. She kept asking me «you don’t want»… UGH no! I informed her that it is a health board violation to do that. She looked over to the other lady working there and spoke in Punjabi to say, «what is she talking about». Places like this need to have corporate offices train their employers and employees better. I am very disappointed and this ruined my appetite.

Had one of the WORST customer service experiences here in a long time. My 3 yr old and I walk in there to get a kid’s meal but they won’t do flatbread for a kid’s meal even if I offered to pay extra and other subways have not had a problem with this request. So fine, I order a 6 in turkey with flatbread and purchase the apples and milk separately. All of this comes out to $ 8 which is $ 3.50MORE than the kid’s meal and I ask them to put it in a kid’s meal bag because my daughter loves the bags. They proceed to tell me because it’s not«technically» a kid’s meal, they have to charge me an extra $ 2. Wtf!!! So now you’re telling me lunch for my kid is going to cost $ 10!!! I did not get the bag and actually would have left without ANY food if my kid wouldn’t have had an epic meltdown. She asked me why she wasn’t getting a bag as we were leaving and I said loud enough so the whole restaurant could hear«because the people here are cheap and not accommodating». I WILLNEVERCOMEHEREAGAIN. To the people who own/work here, good luck with that crap attitude.

This place is OK. The girl who works there pretty much never smiles, but at least she can make a decent sandwich in under 10 minutes. They’ve hired some new people that are much nicer, but their food’s just average. What do you expect though, Subway is Subway, it’s just fast food. This particular Subway is always fast so it’s a great location to get lunch on the go.

I can’t stand the smell of Subway. The«bread» smells nothing like real fresh baking bread. And this location? Bronco Billy’s is right next door and makes much better sandwiches.

so, I’ve been here 2 times in the past 3 days because I was just way too lazy and sick to make myself something else or to look for alternatives. That, and China Best was closed today. 1st visit, I got the chicken soup… but didn’t get the utensils and crackers and whatnot. Good thing was that it was hot. ok, no biggie I just grab some silverware. 2nd visit, I again got a chicken soup… this time I got utensils and crackers, but the soup was COLD. My applause goes to the girl working behind the counter(who coincidentally served me both times). Get your game together, girl! This review is being written as my soup heats up in the microwave… The only reason you get one more star is because of convenience. Next time I might just opt for La Victorias…

So what can I say about Subway that you don’t already know, you ask? It’s a fast food chain, the food is mediocre, and it’s always funky hot in here. Well, when your mother counts all the coins in your piggy bank like my mother does, you’ll know that every penny counts. Thus, you may wonder why your 5 dollar footlong sometimes costs 5 dollars even and sometimes more. Well, the answer is heat. When your food is heated, somehow Uncle Sam gets to tax you and when it’s not, he doesn’t then. Mother says that if we turn off the heater and stay colder in the winter, our taxes will be less but I think she’s being ridiculous, but mother says humans pay more when they’re toasty but I think that’s ridiculous. Anyway, when I’m hungry, I eat an UNHEATED sub and keep the 41 cents, «suckas!»

I’ve eaten a lot of Subway during the last decade of my life. A lot of Subway. All over the U.S. As anyone who frequents Subway knows, there’s a lot of variation from store to store in terms of the quality of the product and even more variation in how generous the servings are. Depending on who you get and how cheap the owner is, the same sandwich(at the same price) can be 50% heavier at one Subway than at another across town. Some are unusually generous, but over the years most places have gradually scaled back on the quantities. This place takes the cake, however. It’s worth a visit just to see cucumber slices that are thinner than contact lenses, spaced inches apart on your sandwich to further skimp. This is by far the cheapest Subway I’ve ever seen. Their profit margin must be enormous. But I have to hand it to them, more power to them for managing to stay in business despite their outrageous cheapness in preparing a sandwich. I don’t know how they do it. I guess it illustrates how desperate we all are in the Hayward Hills.

Always friendly, and nice service. I’ve struck conversations with the workers here a few times. It gets it’s rush every now and then which is probably true with all subway. At a convenient location, right by campus and it’s walkable if you choose. Recently it’s been really hot there but they have many fans, but it’s probably just temporary. You can’t go wrong with $ 5 foot longs right by campus.

Turkey bacon avocado sammich! This place is always empty because people flood Bronco Billy’s next door. Owned by a Punjabi family, decently clean, same classic taste. The turkey was a bit more bland than usual. Could have given me more veggies in my sammich though.

For a subway it’s «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» I guess cause there isn’t much to it. Came here again after years and they’re still as kind and patient as before, especially when it comes to being a bit indecisive on veggies. Another plus is that they were the only ones in the lot open early enough for an early lunch.
