A 3 star review is fair. For an Italian chain we go there maybe once a year. Pasta sauce is nasty, but what do you expect? Fairly clean, nice staff.

I really like the food and how fast and quiet the restaurant is never a wait food comes out fast and fresh. Prices are decent and it’s really clean not much to complain about. Hayward isn’t the best place for food but this is one of the good ones

Fast food Italian, strange but decent concept. I came in since I was loading up for my first race. Kind of lagged before they closed so I came in 10 minutes til closing. Afraid they weren’t going to let me in I rushed over. Luckily I wasn’t too late and I was able to get my pasta kick on. I didn’t eat it immediately but choked down in the morning a few hours before my race. The food is ok and service was excellent. I usually go up the street for my Italian food but this hit the spot. Prices are fair and the servings were adequate. Luckily location is convenient so I can run in and out within minutes.

I was surprised at how great their customer service is. It’s one thing to get your food quickly, and another to also have a waitress come by a few times to make sure everything is going well with your meal. Their food was good. The chicken in my chicken and broccoli was a little dry but the sauce was great. I helped myself to a lot of bread. I’d go back whenever I feel like eating a pasta dish.

3−7−16 horrible experience! Manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. Garlic bread is NOT cooked and food is cold as ice. Disgusting. Save your money people

Came here for lunch with a friend of mine and both of us ordered the pasta combo of Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine with Caesar Salad and soda on the side. It’s a pretty good deal of $ 9.99 for the amount of food you get cuz although it looks small, you get full quick! The pasta was delicious and flavorful, the chicken wasn’t dry but moist and tender. They even have bread bar on the side, tasty and not stale at all. To be honest, this place is even better than olive garden a little further down on Hesperian St. Staff was very friendly and efficient in getting our food out. Always my go to place when ever I crave for pasta!

I got the special, clam and mushroom risotto. I didn’t like it. It was decent but a little too salty for me. Husband got the beef ravioli and loved it. My recommendation is to get the traditional dish and you probably won’t be disappointed. This is a semi– fast food place. You order at the counter and someone brings the food to your table. Place is clean and decent. Cheap. For both our dishes and a bottle of wine rang up well under $ 40. Getting dinner for under $ 40 is unheard of these days.

I like the food at rigatony’s for fast Italian food. However when you order takeout and all the pastas are done except the salad it comes out 15 minutes later and you’re watching your pasta get cold on the counter it drops the rating down quite a bit. Not to mention the girl that works on the phone and the register is kind of a dipshit with the blonde and black hair.

I absolutely devoured my chicken fettuccine alfredo… waaaay better than olive gardens… I was«iffy» at first being you order at the counter then sit down but ever so glad my hubby wanted to give it a try I looooooved it… my hubby didn’t care for his spaghetti and meatball and I told the nice lady and without hesitation she made him something else… talk about excellent customer service … we will be back thanks for a great experience

Really unhappy with their customer service. To the rude blonde cashier whom told me she could not accommodate me this evening, F you! All I asked for was a larger water glass than the dinky kids cup you handed me. That thing holds 3oz of water, if I put ice in my glass. That’s literally 1 drink of water after swallowing a bite of food. And how dare you. I explained to you, that I JUST had surgery and cannot move around well, especially to repeatedly get up to refill my water glass. For you to tell me to call tomorrow to speak to your manager, is atrocious! Go F yourself. You should be fired for your comments to me. I am legally handicap, though I may look normal in appearance.(Yes, I heard your under your breath comments) I didn’t realize I have to look deformed or broken to be considered handicap. Newsflash! Not all illnesses can be seen. Unless of course you would like me to remove my clothing so you can see all of my scars from having intestine removed. Have a great life! I hope you are so fortunate to never come into contact with me again. Rigatonis, Train your cashiers in better customer service. Or you will lose my business. Cheers

Food was okay. But I had to go back up to the cashier and asked what happened when I hadn’t received my food for almost 30 mins.

Delicious, inexpensive, fresh-cooked Italian food. You can even watch them make it, if you’re inclined, since their burners are within view as you’re ordering. It’s basically Olive Garden quality but for less, and MUCH faster. Just had their Clam and Mushroom Risotto special and it was amazing, and it was only $ 10. They have a free bread bar where you can your bread with butter, olive oil, or balsamic vinegar. It’s kind of a mix of fast food and sit-down restaurant with the speed, seating, and beverage self-serve options of the former but with the food delivery and quality of the latter.

I was super excited to drag my honey out of the house on a quest for pasta tonight. I’m glad I finally walked in here. Nice clean simple environment with pleasant staff. You walk in you put in your order, get your Cesar salad grab some bread and butter. Have the cooks toast it up and wait for your main course. Will come here again. Fettucini is too on point.

A modest little Italian restaurant — is the first impression I get upon entering. Tables are neatly arranged around the dining area(almost cafeteria-like) with an all-you-can-eat bread section with olive oil/vinegar and butter. They do not have waiter service. You look at a menu and then order at a register. It’s a very simple place, but I really enjoyed my meal. I got the grilled chicken plate which came with a half serving of pasta. My friends got fettuccine with a creamy sauce and sausages. The dressings are VERY flavorful and creamy — not watery in the slightest. My chicken was well cooked and juicy. The only downside is that it is very heavy and oily. This isn’t a place for clean eating. I loved the bread basket — I think we went back at least 4 times for more refills on bread. My meal was enjoyable and delicious. It wasn’t too crowded so we could hear the big band jazz tunes playing in the background. I also really loved the decorations and art on the wall. It played well with the homey and cute Italian restaurant theme. I would definitely come back here for when craving comforting spaghetti and pasta(they also have seafood but I didn’t try it). It’s set up like a fast food restaurant. You order at the counter then find a seat. Help yourself to bread. The food isn’t bad but just expensive.

It’s loads better than regular fast food. The place is clean, the staff polite and the food good. Try the cheesy garlic bread, trust me.;) The prices are the only con. Everything is hella expensive when it used to be reasonable. I joined their club and u do get discounts on food. $ 5 off when u join is great. U have to print it out though and take it in to the restaurant. In this day and age it seems unnecessary to print anything out, but it does make the bill more palatable.

I was feeling like Italian and didn’t feel up to cooking nor getting dressed up for my favorite restaurant. This was going to have to do. We arrived around 8PM. Staff was friendly and greeted us at the entrance. I ordered the chicken Parmesan($ 12.) Hubs ordered the Italian sausage fettuccini($ 9.) We loaded up a bread basket and found a table. About 15 minutes later the waitress brought over dinner. Chicken Parmesan was pretty good. Seasoned and moist with pasta in a creamy sauce. Overall good. Since it was past the typical dinner time there wasn’t many patrons maybe 4 – 5 tables occupied. The waitresses was refilling the bread baskets, condiment area and silverware. A decent casual place to load up on carbs.

On Saturday, 6÷28÷14, my girlfriend and I were craving some pasta so we decided to eat at Rigatoni’s for dinner. I’ve eaten at this restaurant once and I remember the food being pretty decent. This was my girlfriend’s first time eating at Rigatoni’s. Atmosphere/Décor: The restaurant has a lot of tables to sit at. It’s pretty spacious. It’s not a restaurant where you sit down and a waiter or waitress comes and takes your order. When you enter the restaurant you put in your order, pay, and then go sit down at any table. The atmosphere/décor is just basic and nothing special. Food: I ordered the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The salad was pretty good. The chicken was grilled perfectly and tasted really good. The Caesar dressing wasn’t that good. It was okay. The Spaghetti and Meatballs were decent. They were definitely not the best. The marinara sauce was too sweet. The meatballs tasted okay. My girlfriend ordered the Lasagna. She said it didn’t taste that good. All of the cheese literally came off the top in one whole piece when she cut into the lasagna with her fork. I tasted the lasagna for myself. It didn’t taste good. Instead of meat sauce the lasagna had sausage. The sausage tasted okay, but nothing to write home about. Service: The guy that took our order was nice and friendly. I asked him about a certain salad and he explained to me what came on the salad. He seemed really friendly. Overall: I don’t see myself ever eating at Rigatoni’s again. Their food is just basic. The food seemed pre-made and it lacked flavor. The only good thing at the restaurant was the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. That’s pretty sad since the restaurant is Italian.
