We had Marblesmith repair travertine tile flooring in our kitchen and entryway. We worked with Ray. The flooring was in such bad shape(damaged areas, scratches, and generally lost luster) that we thought it needed to be replaced. But Ray said it could be restored. They sanded the scratches and filled all the damaged areas, then refinished and resealed the stone. it restored the look of the stone, and came out looking very good for a lot less cost than replacement. Ray and his crew were pros, and did a good job. They were considerate of keeping our house clean and mitigating the dust. We are happy with the result. If you have a stone floor that is in sorry shape, talk to these guys before you replace it.
