Lee’s Dollar Store

I personally really like this dollar store! I only took a star off because not everything is a dollar. The items that are more than a dollar are clearly marked though. This place is down the street from my job so I like to walk here and get lost in the store looking at all the neat little trinkets. I think they have a nice variety of items! The store is pretty much always neat/​clean and the workers are nice!

So this place is suppose to be a «dollar store» they got most of their things going for up to $ 19??? Theyre selling these stuff animal backpacks for kids and they look cheap of course and they are $ 9.99 each which is NOT worth it because they are dirty like they’ve been stained?! I tried to ask if she can bring the price a little down because who the heck wants a dirty stained stuff animal backpack looking like that and she was rude and said no thats how they are. My ass thats how they are! Do not recommend buying those there you can get them cheaper at a flea market in a nicer condition.

I am banning from shopping at Lee’s Dollar Store in Hayward, CA.
For the reasons just explained to me…
My Dollar isn’t worth anything…
We don’t care if you spend your money at our store your lucky to get items that are not defective…
We buy defective items and sell it to consumers because you are gullible consumers.
We don’t give refunds or exchanges because its just a DOLLAR…
She kept pointing to the sign my eyes stayed affixed to her… People like that are the reason business close down. Just think if CVS can take back an open bottle of hair dye or used lipstick because the consumer doesn’t like the color WITHOUT hesitation it is replaced. LEE“S DOLLAR STORE GETS TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!
My DOLLAR is hard earned and for s MANAGER to say it’s ONLY a DOLLAR… THAT does not set well with me. Needless to say I will take MY DOLLAR and spend it else were!

Lee’s dollar store is really good place to go but the cashier is so rude. No one will go there. She needs to learn to do customer service.

Lee’s dollar store doesn’t have the vast inventory that Dollar store has: no produce, frozen foods, nor fresh bread. they do carry have mex canned goods, candies, pastries, a plus for their mexican patrons.

–quanitity for a dollar less than what dollar store offers.

I love all dollar stores because the stuff they have in there is SO RANDOM. Do I need any of it? NOPE! But as Honey Boo Boo says… A DOLLA MAKES ME HOLLAAA! I will always go in and buy the most random stuff as random gag gifts for friends.
Went to Lee’s Sandwich’s on Thursday with the coworkers and as we were ordering, we saw a sign at the register saying Lee’s Dollar Store is now open! So naturally we ran over and did a bit of quick browsing and purchasing of items as we waited for our food to be made.
There are some actual good finds in here too, it’s not all just useless junk. 100 doggy poop bags w/​the little bone holding case you can attach to your leash plus an extra 100bag roll? Score!
So what did I get back to work with; in addition to my Vietnamese sandwich? A giant face sized 4 foot long fly swatter, plastic pimp cup for my coworker (even has her name on it!), 200 doggy poop bags, and a picture of me wearing a wig/​weave hairtie thing that makes me look a Black/​Asian chick whom we have since dubbed Jer’Quisha.

This store opened this past weekend and is in the same strip of store’s as Lee’s Sandwich shop and Lee’s Laundromat so I assume it’s the same owner of all three (Chieu Le).
It’s just the same as every other dollar store out there and has pretty much everything you would expect from one. Only difference between here and say Dollar Tree is that it’s not quite as messy.
