Place is cool. As a vegetarian this local spot is just what I and my wife wanted for our morning outings. Today I grabbed the Chana Masala(curry chick pea stew) and it was excellent. Then i got some potato samosa(like potato dumblings kind of) and again, excellent. Nice little spot. Go!

I love the new location. It’s spacious and very clean. I mainly go here for bhooja, absolutely love it. They have all kinds of Fiji sweets and I believe they also serve samosas and food. A good place to get sweets for all occasions and they are very friendly.

I came to this place 3 times already, I go there for samosas, owner(lady) makes it fresh every time I ask them. Place is clean and they have varieties of Indian sweets. Reasonable prices of most of the items. Will go there again.

A friendly Indian snack place. They have a good selection of Fijian Indian snack(which is similar to Indian snacks). They were reasonably priced.

I love ordering from this place. They combine good prices plus quality food. I especially like their $ 10 for 30pcs tray of samosas. Good deal!

Their samosa deal — $ 1 for 3 is the best deal in hayward area. I have ordered twice now and am really pleased with this super deal … I don’t think you will get this deal anywhere else … For next time will order again

I’ve been here a couple of times to pick up sweets for Diwali and samosas for when family visits. The food is good and the sweets are great except they sell out fast and one time we had barfi which was really stale and did not taste fresh. I like the basics such as gulab jaman and their barfi however I really regret trying their raspberry version because they were out of the original barfi-never again! The girls are sweet are helpful but they shouldn’t have to be doing this kind of labor. I also think the number posted above is the owners cell #…he was extrememely rude and upset and yelled the number for the store before hanging up. I’m calling the # YOU posted to provide buisiness for your store. +1: food is legit fiji sweets versus –1: rude –1: bad customer service –1: don’t make enough items Sadly will not return because the cons outwegh the pro.

Great tasting sweets. Picked some up for Diwali last weekend and if you want some traditional Fiji sweets, this is the place to go. It’s a family run place. Parking is easy, but enter through the first ramp on the right cause its easier to park this way.

They cost arm and a leg to cater for a small group. We give them three stars for their delicious food. Food is well prepared and tastes really good, but heads up for the amount of oil that is use to prepare all that good food. Sweets are also good and we loved it. The downside of this review is that we used their catering service for our Henna Sangeet party and now wished we had used the same caterer as for our Saturday night wedding instead. My husband and I decided to have a small wedding from our backyard of fifty guests. For Friday night Henna Sangeet party was about the same number of invitees but only twenty guests RSVP’d. The owner refused to reconsider the decrease in number of guests and stated he will charge a flat rate fee and will not charge per person. I don’t have relative in CA who could have helped me to cook for this occasion as in our tradition, Indian families and relatives get involved to help. I didn’t have this luxury and didn’t know who else to go to for authentic Fiji Indian food. Introducing food from my country to my new in law’s was something important so we decided this was our only option. We paid $ 1200.00 for twenty guests for the evening, plus additional food which was made for lunch on Friday for eight people costs another $ 300. Total cost was $ 1500.00. That’s $ 75 per person. The sad thing was seeing all the leftovers go to waste. Since my husband and I are avid donors for hunger relief charities, seeing all the food from Friday evening and from the day being wasted made us upset. We tried to salvage what we could and did our best to give it away but still so much was left and was gone bad. Fiji Sweets did bring their own catering supplies and set up the buffet. The food was delicious and was enjoyed but we wished he worked on his pricing a little better. Our Saturday night caterer(Spice Kitchen) did a fantastic job and the total cost for the wedding dinner we paid $ 817.50. And that was for fifty guests plus. We won’t be a returning customer for future catering or recommend our friends to cater from this venue. However, the restaurant is the place to go to have authentic, good Fiji food.

I stopped here after work and liked the gulab jamun. They are not round here, more like the shape and size of a date. The service was also really nice. They said they were going to start serving vegetarian non-sweet food too sometime soon.

Highly recommended by my dear friend, Natasha, the hand made samosas are crafted with a beautiful folded shell, deep fried to a golden crisp and then! A taste bud tingling filling of meat, spices, and seasoned potatoes. Going to order some for lunch for my staff! Cheers!

We always knew best mixed snacks and mixed sweets were back home in Fiji, until Fiji Sweets opened their doors. They have the best snacks and sweets I have ever had including from back home, so that goes to show. We also had them cater at one of our functions, GOD. freshly made was heaven… Now I go there at least twice a week. BEST

I was introduced to this mom and pop shop selling snacks — I had the Fijian samosas which were very cheap and tasty and still warm. And the flake chevda — a very spicy blend of Fijian-Indian fried cornflakes and peas, perfect for beer or just snacking. I’d come again to try more things.
