So… Google says this place closed down but here in Unilocal it says it’s still open… so… is it open or closed?

Came here tonight, with skeptical thoughts at first — considering I normally do not like going to hookah lounges. But I must admit hands down best hookah lounge I’ve ever been to. Perfect lighting and all the seating is super comfortable. As far as entertainment — I came here on a Sunday, so there was music playing and a tv playing an Adam Sandler movie. The music ranged from a wide variety, but overall very good choice of playlist with the perfect volume. I heard if you come on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturday’s there is a live DJ who plays a wide range of stuff and people get up to dance. The interior– I’d give a 10⁄10 considering it’s very stylish with red and black theme but also very comfortable and relaxing. There were people doing tricks with their smoke which amazed me and the flavors were very tasty. I’d definitely recommend this place to my friends, and will be coming back for more.

If you ever go to blaze Hookah Lounge ask for a white guy named Brandon he’s really chill and knows what he is doing

Amazing hookah but service was extremely slow. Music isn’t too current but you can make the best of it if you’re with a fun group of friends. They also make you pay and tip before you get served.

Blaze is by far my favorite hookah lounge in the East Bay — and one of my group’s favorite locations to get together. I typically rate a hookah lounge based on three categories: 1) Hookah quality — I’ve always had a pleasant experience with the hookahs @ Blaze. The shisha is smooth, the flavors are great, and it seems like the hookah never gets harsh. 2+3) Service & Atmosphere — exceptional. The staff is very attentive even on busy nights. The DJ plays great music and I love the screen with the music videos. The interior décor is beautiful. This is not your typical hole in the wall hookah spot(like many in San Francisco) — it has a nice lounge feel to it. If you’re in the East Bay(or would like a little break from SF), I definitely recommend Blaze. PS — check out their Rose flavored hookah or Tropical Mango… the best!

If you are looking for a hookah lounge with a fun atmosphere, excellent service and quality I highly recommend Blaze! With their extensive menu of flavors, a DJ playing upbeat music, Blaze is the perfect place to come chill with a friend or two! The décor is beautiful and is def. not your typical hole in the wall hookah spot! I have been here a few times with my friends and the service never fails to amaze me. The staff is friendly and everyone always has a smile on their face. The menu of flavors is extensive and fun! My personal favorite is the White Gummy Bear and Rose. If you are in the East Bay you should def. come check out Blaze :)

4⁄4 for service because the workers are always checking up on you. The security guard person whoever they are, that was in the front… who was also using the hookah, while on the job… kept leaving the door open. So you definitely cannot do any tricks. Plus the music is so loud it is difficult to converse with the person sitting right next to you… so what is there left to do? Mindlessly just huffing and puffing. Music choice was good because it consisted of a lot of rap/hiphop from the 80’s-2000’s and music videos play on the screen at the same time but the transitions in between songs were so awful. Mostly I just found myself feeling awkward… looking at the television… I couldn’t occupy myself with any smoke tricks or talk to my friends because it was so loud.

This place is great to chill and hookah. Good selection of music and good areas to sit. The workers are attentive of moving and switching your coals without me asking at all. The flavors are good as well. Try the white gummy! However their cheap walmart lounge couch can be uncomfortable. Only thing missing is beer or wine. On that note it’s 18 and over. If you’re in the area, stop by. They have Happy Hr 4 – 8, 7 days a week. Not bad if you wanna chop it up with your homies and chill.

Many factors hinder a good hookah experience: — air conditioning always on = you can forget about doing any cool smoke tricks! — uncomfortable seating — weird: employees watching Duck Dynasty right next to you … lol

Let me start off by saying I wish I lived in Hayward almost just for this place. I’m in love with BLAZE. I have had the best experience here the past week and will be coming much more often for my daily hookah cravings. The service is superb and the atmosphere is incomparable. Beautiful interior and exterior décor. Comfortable lounge with an open layout of booths and tables! The hookahs are 5 stars. The best hookah session I’ve ever had at a lounge. The coals are changed often by the staff. The shisha keeps the flavor going on FOREVER. The hits were so smooth and I never coughed a single time! The sheesha servers know what they’re talking about so feel free to ask what flavors smoke the best! This isn’t your hole in the wall typical hookah lounge filled with 18yr olds. It’s an upscale, nightlife hotspot.

This hookah lounge gets more and more expensive every time I go. However, their music is always on point. If you’re lucky and you go on a good day people actually get up and dance. If they have an event going on apparently their price is 15/person plus 7 for hookah *which I did not understand because back then you paid and it was unlimited hookah* Regularly I think it’s 12/person. I’d say call and ask ahead of time if you’re wondering about the price for the night.

I don’t know what kind of hookah lounge doesn’t have tobacco, but at an over priced $ 12 a person this one definitely didn’t offer any last night. What kind of hookah lounge doesn’t have lemon mint? If you’re still ok with going to a hookah lounge with no favors then don’t let the lack of customer service hold you back. Not sure why the one guy with us who wasn’t smoking was required to also pay the fee or why they’re charging for seating on an EMPTY Monday night but I guess there’s no nice way to go about it with customers. Especially with Hector crumpling receipts so loudly. Regardless, they were down to lose $ 50 of business over a guy using their chairs lol. Off the other times we’ve been here I wouldn’t count on their hookah being on point. Typically it doesn’t hit and tastes like every other flavor they’ve ever put inside, so I guess having no flavor options doesn’t really matter in the end.

I went there today with friends since we were all wanted to do hooka and I love the vibe we got it was a chill place to hang. The guy Hector who served us was honestly amazing to say he helped us mixed a good blend for the hooka and ensured me that he will ash the coals which I didn’t except him to do. I liked how it was a nice vibe with music and how he recommend flavors to us and ensured our hooka experience was good. I would definitely come back as a hang out spot to chill. cons: I only hoped we could tip with card because he did such a good job I want to tip him for his service but yet no card to tip seems outdated. I also say carry more selections of Fumari brand since its highly recommend because so many basic flavors of such a good brand was horrible in my opinion.

Can’t say good or bad about the place. But will comment on waiting in line. The area is sketchy, maybe it’s because I’m not from here and live in San Diego. The price for the hookah is good. $ 10 unlimited hookah for 3 people. They seem to have a good system regarding the way they run the place letting people come in and out though. Very thorough, security made sure to check all id’s. However we ended up waiting in line for over 30 minutes and still had to wait. They took our money right away when it got to our turn but we still had to wait, we ended up leaving and went to a bar. Suggestion: for the customers get their early, for the owners let your customers know your at capacity in the beginning; with unlimited hookah your turn around rate will be/is very slow. Very disappointing standing in a line for over 30 minutes for a hookah bar and still not getting in. Also, not sure if it’s because I’m a hookah snob and can’t really knock anything until I try it but you should switch out to al faker/starbuzz shisha and 3 kings coals not sure of the brand they use but if you want real hookah I would recommend using that instead.

First time coming to this spot & I must say the price is pretty good for a hookah lounge, we(me + 1) came here on a Wednesday tonight around 9pm & it was $ 10 a person unlimited hookah & new flavor every 40 minutes. The only bad thing about this place is that I noticed the hookah is harsher here compared to the ones I’ve been to. Other than that I really have no complaints. Free wifi, they have happy hour from 2 – 6 I believe? & it’s $ 8 a person.
