I gave this location one star, if it was possible to give it zero stars I would have!!! As usual this location NEVER fails to disappoint. No matter how clearly you speak to the employee when they’re taking your order they always manage to get it wrong! I will NEVER GO TO THE HESPERIAN LOCATION AGAIN!!! The service is horrible!!!

Fucked everything up. order a mess. never understood me thru mic speakers. Left out fries. Every bite of burger was pure regret and I threw away half away thru my meal and called it a night

I came to eat a burger around lunch time. I wasn’t expecting much from Carl’s Jr since its a fast food joint. The serice was good, cashier very poliet. I got an original burger which was okay tasted kind of old. I just wish my fries were cripsy instead of stale.

Big bald dude is extremely disgusting and rude. My order was handed to me and if looked disgusting so I threw it away. Staying away from this place forever.

It is Nov 28^th 11:45pm the big bald guy working the drive thru was rude as hell at the speaker. I can see him him grabbing my food talking to the person making it constantly looking back at me at the window. I know they did something so I threw my meal away!!! Do t trust that guy. Rude AF! And sketchy!

When ever the old asian lady is in the drive thru, she messes up my order! This is the 3^rd time. And she forgot one of my drinks and fries! She forgets a lot. And im not the only one.

I wish I can give this place 0 stars if I could. I just came from the drive through at this location and I was rudely greeted by one of the workers who rushed through my order. I did NOT feel confident coming out — and sure enough, I had reason to. They messed up my order AND I had missing items from my order. DO NOT COME HERE!

Old high school spot that I decided to come in with the family. Wife had the craving for the el Diablo burger that her sis recommended so had to give it a shot. The place has had a makeover since I’ve been here last and like most typical fast food joints has the same casual ambience. The menu too has gone through some new upgrades with some burgers that will quench your appetite. Some downfalls were the overcooked onion rings and the burgers that tasted as if they were sitting for a bit. Pretty typical but got the itch in, I myself tried the American burger, kind of weird with the hot dog and chips in the middle. Burgers were real thick and a hot mess so you will definitely need some napkins. Service was pretty good and will bring out your food and provide condiments and sauces upon request. Above average service for a fast food joint and area isn’t the greatest. In all had a good time out.

If i could give zero stars i would i went to this carls jr last night around 11pm. This carls is not the best but last night i watched cross contamination and when i got home my chicken strips we undercooked andy fries fried in what i think was old oil. The end result i got food poisoning really bad had to leave work early and get to emergency room. I dont blame the business i blame management. I am a dept manager in a retail store and know not to blame regular employees. I called told manager what happend he offered me «employee discount» sorry sir i will not ever eat at this carls again. I ended up im hospital with severe food poisoning and dehydration. Normally i think reviewing fast food joints is dumb but when the consumer gets sick thats crossing the line! Check your food. I definitely learned my lesson

Worst experience at a Carl’s Jr ever just totally messed up our order and screen at drive thru was not working so didn’t see order confirmation. Intercom system must not be very good I had a hard time hearing them and I guess they had a hard time hearing me. I ordered a single all natural burger with grilled onions and they gave me regular onions and a double and of course they charged for a double, but worse part was the patties were BURNT to crisp beyond well done. I ordered natural cut fries and they gave us soggy cross cut fries. Ordered onion rings and they were dry and burnt YUK. Would not return to this Carl’s Jr

Food is NOT good at all, place needs to be cleaned. I ate in a lot of fast food places, this one is the worst. If u r homeless it’s ur place (with all respect to all people).

This place was just okay. The sink in the men’s room looks like it has not been cleaned in a generation or so.
I heard music playing from the kitchen that was not the canned music played throughout the restaurant. That seems unprofessional to me.
The food was okay.

The only thing I appreciate here is the 24 hour drive-​thru. Sometimes I work the early shift and I’m craving a burger at these early hours other places only offer breakfast menu items, while Carl’s Jr. offers the entire menu.
And I have to admit, the burgers are good. Charbroiled and cooked properly, taste is 5 stars every time i’ve ordered. However they need to work on the upkeep of the maintenance here. And wussup with the ranch being served in small plastic dishes with lids? I want the ranch that is packaged and says Carl’s Jr on it. Quality control.

I like Carl’s Jr., and so I was excited when I finally went here with my family on Saturday. I can understand, though, why there are mainly negative reviews for this location.
Our total was $ 24.56, and my wife and I were just marginally satisfied with our food (my son is only 1, and he just had some snacks– one of my hookers offered her tata, but she quickly retracted it when my wife shot her a look).
I ordered twice, but only received 1 receipt.
Our first cashier was friendly and quick (she impressed me).
Our second cashier was nice, but kind of slow (I only ordered 1 item, and I didn’t like that she made me repeat myself).
I was mad at myself.
I remembered to bring my camera, but forgot to charge the battery earlier.
It basically died right away. I would have otherwise posted at least 2 more photos (I feel even worse now because my photo is the only one).
If you eat inside, your food will be brought to you (our server was friendly).
If you want any condiments, make sure you ask.
I didn’t realize at first that there’s no condiment area, and so I had to ask for ketchup at the counter (I was given plenty).
(I feel a little bad for the staff here. Our first cashier found herself busy catering to some customers. I’m a big believer in cashiers only serving as cashiers.)
There are 2 fountain machines.
They’re small, but they each feature 10 selections.
Before we left, I got a refill of Cherry Coke. It was good overall, but a bit watery.
There are also 2 nice TV’s inside.
Commercials for Carl’s Jr. play every so often (for the most part, good music is played).
It was clean inside when we went (one reviewer went here when things were «nasty»).
The seating capacity is 18 outside (it’s in need of some repair, but the area is enclosed and fairly spacious), and 64 inside (I counted the chairs, but, to be safe, I had a blueprint drawn up and asked someone from NASA to send me satellite images).
I smiled when a Pet Club employee ate her lunch outside (she looked nervous when we walked by, but it’s not like my wife and I were going to report her).
Ted’s Drugs is also part of the shopping center (my wife and I laughed because it made us think of an old coworker of mine).
The parking lot is old and somewhat tight.
There are a good number of spots, though.

My patties were a bit dry, but otherwise fine.
I received a decent amount of bacon, and the slices were meaty.
My small onion ring fit perfectly inside the large one. They were both pretty good.
My fries were tasty, and my wife helped herself to some.
As I thought, my meal didn’t quite fill me up (that’s why I ordered some other items).
Single Memphis BBQ Burger (Medium Combo– $ 8.48): ⁷⁄₁₀.
My wife liked her burger overall (she could have done without them, but thought that her pulled pork and crispy onion strings were good), but will order a regular one next time (she «should have ordered what [I] did»).

My wife ordered Sweet Potato Fries. I had one, and it was bland.
She wanted to try them and quickly regretted it.
Hand-​Breaded Chicken Tenders (3 pieces for $ 3.70; 5 for $ 5.44): ⁸⁄₁₀.
They’re tasty, but tiny!
As a result, they’re overpriced.
Hand-​Scooped Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich ($ 1.84): ⁸⁄₁₀.
The sandwiches were just introduced late last year.
My vanilla ice cream was nice, and there were large chocolate chips.
The sandwiches are a bit small. I also found my cookies to be a little doughy.
Chocolate Cake ($ 1.84): ⁸⁄₁₀.
My wife devoured hers, but the cakes are quite small.
You can also order chocolate chip cookies or various shakes and malts.
I didn’t see any slices, but Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake may be available too.
I wish the menu at Carl’s Jr. was more diverse. I partly prefer Jack in the Box because of how many selections there are. You can also have breakfast at any time.
This location isn’t terrible, but it needs some work. The food is also overpriced.

Have to agree with some of the other reviewers on here. My teriyaki turkey burger was extremely salty, smelled weird, and had no pineapple. They gave my boyfriend a diet coke instead of regular. My fried zucchini was mashed up in the bottom of the carton. I mean, come on, I know this is fast food and you really can’t expect gourmet meals, but this joint didn’t even meet my minimum expectations.

Worst Carl’s Jr ever! Bad service, slow, orders always wrong AND they always short you on your fries! :p

I don’t really know why a lot of fellow Unilocalers seems to hate this place YET they buy the food here? This joint is literally a block away from my house from the corner. The food is Good, it’s a «hit or miss» kinda thing. i do agree that sometimes the service in this place don’t get your order correctly but THEY TRY and most of the time. Once you kinda get to know the servers here, they remember what you ordered before but never predict your order a head of time! Cheap, Good edible Ginormous burgers all for a convenient price and all the fountain soda that you could drink. The rest rooms are clean in this joint and they made sure of it. Never had a bad order of something yet… i’ll keep you posted…

Worse Carl’s in the Bay… Slow service, tooooo much MAYO… & their fries are ALWAYS soggy.

I really don’t see why this place seems to get low ratings??? I think that it’s better than BK * Mcdonalds but all I say is that if them places would come with a Turkey Guacamole burger then I just may go there but I don’t see that happening so I will stick to my Turkey Guacamole burger
The location is located just across the street of Kaiser in Hayward and I have always gotten great service despite of the staff which are mostly young kids but hey as long as long as they do their work then that;s all I have to say about this.
Yes I will be back!!!

Price is way over priced for their junk.
Orderd a western burger or something, total came out to be l ike $ 8 – 9 for a burger and small criss cut fries and drink. Everything was cold except the patty and the fries, the buns should of been warm, super messy, wasn’t put together right, lettuce was stacked on 1 side of the bun, causing me to use lots and lots of napkins.
