The tacos are delicious because the corn tortilla is hand made. The sopes are super too. On the weekend the menudo is out if this world! You choose if you want hominy or not. I try to order something different each time and everything is good. Beef soup is excellent! The restaurant is very clean and the food comes out quick. Note: they do not have a microwave, which is interesting.

If you enjoy Mexican food, I highly recommend this place! The food is very, very good – one favorite is the Caldo de Pollo, or Chicken Soup. I order it vegetarian-​style, no chicken, just veggies, and they chock it full of vegetables! It’s wonderful, something good and hot on a cold day!
Our company orders from there at least once a week, and some of our other favorites include their Taquitos, Pozole (like Pork Hominy), Tacos, and Flautas. We look forward to lunch when we know we’re ordering from «Taqueria Carnitas Sahuayo»…it’s truly the best Mexican food around with «sabor autentico y bueno!!!
