Note, I’m reviewing this place as a restaurant and not just in the category of buffets. I used to come here a lot when I was younger. But over the years, I think a lot of Asian fusion buffets in Hattiesburg have become just meh. I do appreciate the variety here, but I often find the quality to be subpar. It’s definitely a place to go if you want value. They have hibachi, a sushi bar, fruits and pastries, and your other typical Chinese buffet items. This place is also pretty huge, so you’ll be able to find a seat at any hour. However, if you’re looking for higher quality Asian food(especially if it’s sushi), you’re better off eating at Yamato’s by TJ-Maxx or Edo Sushi near OGHS.

Average Asian buffett. Lots and lots of variety! Hibachi, sushi, shrimp, crawfish, anything and everything Asian. The quality is OK. I tried their kimchi and it tasted like it had been on the buffett uncovered a few days. Not sure about this place. The other food I had was decent. But I’m willing to give it another try. Nothing was super bad just not really impressed, then again it’s a buffett.

This is my go to Asian buffet in Hattiesburg/Laurel area. It is always fresh, well stocked and great service. The dining area and bathrooms are kept clean. I have tried other buffets in Hattiesburg and they are no where near as good or clean. Actually they are horrible. The Hibachi grill and Sushi bar are well stocked with a large variety of items. The buffet line is one of the most generous I have seen for this type of restaurant outside of the largest cites. When I lived in Atlanta, I couldn’t find anything this good(maybe that ‘s not saying much if you know Atlanta but it should). You can’t beat the lunch buffet – plenty of fish, shrimp and veges plus chicken, beef, and pork dishes. The baked salmon is not covered in cheese like a lot of the places do. It has an Italian herb style glaze brushed over it. Very tasty and fresh tasting, not frozen for several years before serving. And the dip your own ice cream is fantastic in cone or bowl. This is the cut above for Asian buffets – not Martin Yan or Ming Tsai gourmet but if you were to find a buffet like that let me know. Actually August Moon in Dallas, Texas did do that years ago on their Sunday Classic Chinese cooking buffet(jellyfish, thousand year old eggs, ect). Unfortunately it looks like they have closed. But that is for another review. I swear by this place. I have been here numerous times and will not go anywhere else in the area. Lunch costs around 8.50, less than 9 without drink. Senior and Military discounts. Its worth the money hands down.

Didn’t know I could update this. As soon as we left this joint my fiancé began experiencing bad stomach pains. Two hours later we ended up at the ER with acute appendicitis! My fiancé blames this food for triggering it!

We chose this buffet over the many others in the area because of the more recent positive reviews. I was very happy by the sushi chefs offering to make me 2 fresh rolls just for me since they were a bit limited on what they had remaining at 830 on a Wednesday. The sushi was great. They also had a decent sweet and sour chicken. The dessert options were very good including the 10 tubs of assorted ice cream at the back kept at the perfect serving temperature. I would definitely come back and eat here again if I wanted Chinese buffet in Harrisburg Miss.

My boyfriend and I LOVE this buffet. We come here 2 – 3 times a month. The food is always good and the staff is always welcoming and attentive. Its sad to say that they probably have the best sushi in town. Yes, at a chinese buffet. I’ve had way better sushi in other restaurants, but in Hattiesburg, I’d much rather come here and spend my money than go to the actual sushi restaurants. The sushi&hibachi chefs are always friendly and helpful. My boyfriend is allergic to fish so the chef even goes out of his way to make a roll just for him. No negative statements about this place at all.

I’ve been here many times and the food is always stocked, the buffet kept tidy, and the staff friendly. The temperature of the food is just right. The guy making the sushi and attending the hibachi is awesome. He really does a great job customizing my hibachi order.

For being a buffet, their sushi is awesome! I don’t eat much of the buffet food but I do love their cheese puffs. Also, they have hibachi so you can get anything you want made fresh. Staff is polite and tentative. Plus their prices are affordable! Great place.
