Grand China Buffet

This buffet was pretty good again. I have not been here for a couple years and I am very spoiled on Gulfport’s Panda Palace so although it was good– it doesn’t compare to my favorite Panda. Oh well we are in Hattiesburg today and it sounded good. The sushi selection is mediocre if you’re looking for anything raw. I had a few pieces of a roll that had tuna in it but it also had cream cheese in it which I usually don’t do. I needed something raw lol and that was the only choice. There is a Mongolian grill that is small but you can customize it to your liking. Now I’m a ‘buffet browser’ I will eat just about anything I see coming fresh out of the kitchen. I had fried okra (bad girl) and the garlic green beans… Mmmmmm so good. My Mongolian was very good and the hot and sour soup was exactly like everywhere else (good)
So after we left we were heading down the road on Hardy and there was another Japanese Buffet dang it! Decent reviews, a little more expensive but appears they have a good sushi selection. will try that one next time

Come on $ 5.99 for s lunch with all this great food, what s deal! Sushi is just ok but the hot Chinese is fantastic, Chinese spar ribs, bourbon chicken, dim sum, potstickers, egg drop and hot & sour soup, ribs, general Tao’s chicken, all were good. You could even come here and get full on no Asian, fried chicken, pizza, peal and eat shrimp, mussles, even bacon baked potatoes and mac.
Coming back for dinner tomorrow!

Pretty good food, great selection, good price. The fried okra wasn’t up to snuff, as is typical on any buffet, and the honey chicken was a bit dried out, but everything else was hot, fresh, and tasty! They had some interesting options. Staff ere polite and attentive. I would definitely return.

I was enjoying this place somewhat when I looked at my glass and saw a huge glob of lipstick on the rim. I pointed this out to the waitress. She tried wiping off the glass in front of me and was saying its stuck on the glass instead of getting me another drink. Immediately lost my appetite and could not help but think how clean this place really was. But you be the judge. It’s just my experience.

Big time chinese food. Something for everbody. Buffet for the hungry, Sushi for the purist and a Mongolain grill for the savage. The sevice is fast and greedy. Dinner w/​drink and tax =$ 12.73 +tip also i notice slimy rap music for their back ground music. It’s not acceptable for young kids or victims of domestic violence. It is after all the local radio station.

Great chinese buffett … loved the food and a huge selection.
