Ed’s Burger Joint

I understand the long line seeing as everyone is wanting to try the newest restaurant in town. After spending 30 minutes in line, we got up to the only register in the restaurant. The service was pretty quick from there, however, the food was bland, over cooked, and had no flavor. I was very disappointed. Robert St. John is known for his restaurants in Hattiesburg, but this one is less than mediocre compared to his others. We will not be going back. I recommend Mugshots for anyone looking for a flavorful and juicy burger.

Went on a Saturday night. This place isn’t a month old, so they are still getting the hang of things. The line was long for a one cash register to manage. There is one more but it is at the bar. I went to the bar to skip the line and customer services was friendly and nice. Ordered the buffalo nachos as a started and it was amazing. Then i ordered a ComeBack Burger and came with two patties and the way i ordered, along with a side of fries. The only complaint i could say is that the meat could be seasoned a little better for more flavor. Kind of figured that the overwhelming volume of people and didn’t have time to properly get the true flavor. All of my food came out quick. Don’t expect to have servers, you place your order at the cash register and they take your name and call it out. Kind of wish they had a number system so the employees wouldn’t get lost so quick.

Customer service and friendliness of staff was great (That’s why I gave one star); however, the burgers was not that good especially for the price. While there, several customers complained about half cooked burgers. Since I got my food to-​go, I asked the cashier to make sure it was well-​done. She said that all burgers were but told staff anyway. When I got home, it was medium rare and missing the bacon. Recommend Plaid Rhino, Mugshots, or Tophers if you want a better burger. 1^st and last visit for me.

Went for dinner on opening weekend. The place was packed and we had to sit outside, but this was kind of to be expected. The food was quite delicious though, and I will definitely be coming here on a regular basis.
