We were traveling to Florida and stayed at the Holiday Inn. We did not want to drive anywhere & decided to give Bapa’s a try. First of all the waiter was very attentive & the food was delicious. The fries were crispy & excellent. We were very impressed and will eat there again when traveling through Hattiesburg.

So… I went back just because I am staying in the hotel. My mistake! I sat at the bar and had a few beers, the service was great. I decided to order a burger on my way out and there is where the problem comes in. I bit into the burger and the bottom bun was soggy. For some reason the cook decided to put the soggy, over ripe tomatoes on under the meat… WTF…not a good idea. If you are staying in the hotel and just want a cold beer and maybe some good conversation then come in and sit at the bar. If you are looking for anything Close to a good meal then find another place.

The service is HORRIBLE!!! Only reason they got 1 star is because I couldn’t leave 0. Avoid this place like the plague!

You will die of thirst and starvation before anyone waits on you, let alone serves you from their extremely limited menu. Waiter walked past me three times and ignored me until I asked him if I could order a drink and some food. Neither ever came. Meanwhile, the bar maid seemed more interested in the POS Machine, than serving customers. This place has never been great. Tonight made it clear to never give them another chance.

Horrific experience. Food was atrocious and the service was worse. I have never had so much attitude come from a server. Ever. No wonder we were the only ones eating there.

Not usually one for«hotel food» so I usually dine out. This place however is the exception… the restaurant might be located on hotel property but this is definately not hotel food. The pan seared tuna was so well done that I could not believe I was on a hotel property. Tim the chef came out to check on my meal and verify that it was up to standard and I explained to him the same that I am sharing here. The hotel is very nice but the food is phenomenal and I can’t go without mentioning the service at the bar as well, the bartender, Jasmine, did an awesome job making sure my drinks stayed full and were mixed to perfection… this place has earned a regular spot on my travel schedule based on food and service alone…

Ate here while staying at the hotel and the food was excellent! I’m a picky eater and have lots of modifications to my meals and they always got it right! My omelette was made just right… veggies, no onions and a little bacon! :-) The server, Sarah was super friendly and really made the experience worth coming back for when in the area!

I stayed at the hotel this restaurant is in last week, and it was outstanding! I ate every breakfast and almost every dinner here and each meal was top notch! My breakfasts were great, from egg plates to toast sandwiches. Dinner was excellent too, as I’m a big burger junkie! Their burgers did not disappoint. This might be the first time I ordered a burger that said«half-pound pattie» and it was a half-pound or bigger! That is excellence people! Plus they picked up on my love of bacon and always brought extra bacon at each meal! Sarah and Arielle were very polite and accommodating at every meal! Those women really understand customer service! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Steak was good and was flavored well enough… was overcooked to my preference and of course despite my request but nonetheless was decent enough. The sweet potato fries stole the show though. Definitely worth it. All in all not a bad experience.

I stayed in Hattiesburg, MS for about a month. I stayed @ the Candlewood Suites, which was about 75 yards from this restaurant. Nice place to have within walking distance. First impression of this place came off real cold. The bartender wasn’t the friendliest, but through out the night she became so friendly & downright hilarious we went back another 3 or 4 times. Her name is Juliana & the other waitress that was down right sweet was Taylor. They made this restaurant. The very first time eating there I had the Shrimp & Grits. They were so goood. I loved them. The cook did a great job. Juliana assured us that the seafood came from Atlanta, because right is not the right time to be eating the gulf seafood. The steaks were great. The service on the patio can be a little slow, but usually it was fast. It”s one of the best hotels restaurant/bars that I’ve had the pleasure of eating @. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in that neck of the woods. They have a cute little bar in there that makes a good place to check out to watch most sporting games.
