The food was good and I was very surprised by the bathroom TV’s! This was a nice surprise stop on my road trip through MS.

They’re famous for their burgers, yet they won’t serve them rare – not to mention they serve warm Pace salsa with stale, overly-​salted chips. After a couple of visits, I can officially say that I am not a fan.

Great burger and super nice waitress!!! French fries were delicious! Would definitely visit again!

Watched the Panthers beat the Cardinals really good tv setup, terrific food had a party of 4 that turned into 7. The young waitress was prompt and friendly. I only gave 4 of 5 because of the beer menu, lots of good beer on tap but need to have something on the table to promote it right away with larger fonts, description, origin, and %. Maybe a appetizer special to promote a few more beers before the HUGE burger

I had the «Red White and Blue Burger». It was great. I ate up all of my girls fries. Not sure if they bake their own buns, but they’re sure GOOD. I would have given a good review if all I’d gotten was the bun… not really but very good. The beer was icy cold. The services was great. The only drawback I’d say was the draft selection. Not enough craft beers to my liking. I would like to see them develop this some more. But in the end. I ever I espy a mugshots here in Texas I’ll surely drop in for a visit.

Great burgers, good cold beer with a decent selection. My wife and I have to split the «Mcdonald» if we aren’t very hungry. Great value on food. The fries are great. The atmosphere is a bit loud but hey its a bar. Friendly staff and management.

When comparing this Mugshots to the one in Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Starkville and others this is our clear favorite when it comes to having a burger and being able to watch sporting events. Management has done a great job creating a sports bar atmosphere that comes with good service and quality burgers, which can’t be said nearby at Buffalo Wild Wings and Hooters, your other choices in Hattiesburg. There’s not a bad seat in the house to watch games on one of the dozens of TVs. It’s a good spot to visit before or after Southern Miss events or anytime, in fact.
As for the food, while the chips and salsa (definitely not made on site) isn’t a go-​to item, the burgers are. These hand padded burgers are sized up for large appetites, well seasoned and come with premium sides. Heck, the oversize bun is enough for a meal. Keep in mind, you can eat and drink here, just like the other sport bars. Simply put, it’s a solid choice for burgers and if you come here that’s what you should order.

The barbecue sandwich was excellent and my wife said her veggie burger was as well.
The only downfall were the kids meals.

I left a bad review in January 2015 with the intent to update it with a better review as I eat here frequently and the good is generally good. But you have not given me an opportunity to upgrade the rating even though I have visited 10+ times. First gripe tonight was a fish sandwich with a piece of fish that looked like it was split between two orders. You could have served that tiny fish on a roll. I’ll try to post a picture. But the thing that kills me is that you can ask 5 waiters for a beer list and get 5 different lists and none of them are right! The number of beers on the list that you DONT have outnumbers the beers on the list that you do have. (I actually wrote this in Spring of 2015 for the old site)
For the last three weeks I have asked about the Abita seasonal (Abita Strawberry is one of the most popular beers in the region in February/​March). Three different bartenders have told me they have it in the back, but have not tapped it. So, the Abita seasonal is still Octoberfest. It is now March 15, and it is PAST spring break. Who is going to order an Octoberfest in late March? And how stale is it by now? By the time you tap the Abita Strawberry, it will be out of date. You might as well keep the Octoberfest on tap for another 5 months and it will be in season again. Better yet, if you can’t keep 50 taps updated, then cut it back to 10 and keep them current. It is obvious that the real problem is management. Every waiter and bartender I have dealt with (20+ visits) is great. The food is great 9 out of 10 visits. But it just feels like maybe they have been missing a manager since late 2014. You guys are lucky that it is the only place within a short walk of 4 hotels, which keeps a lot of us coming back.

Got there as it just opened and seated at a booth with ants crawling all over the table, this says much about the cleanliness of the est. We were moved two booths down and never waited on, groups that came in after us got waited on but we just sat there for 20 minutes. This place is near the movie theatre which is why we chose it, with that being said, you would think they wouldn’t keep customers waiting since movies wait for no one, we decided to leave after the kids finished coloring and doing all the activities. Think it will be a while before I ever come here again.

Food was pretty good, I had the Chicken salad and my friend had the Texan burger. Both were really good, their ranch dressing is really watery though.
Also both were drinking Midori Sours.
Atmosphere was nice, open and not loud for a sports bar, also kinda family oriented. Service was kinda slow with our waitress, she had a habit of vanishing, even had to go pick up our drinks from the bar.

Called in a pick-​up order. Take it home, and it’s completely wrong. Drive all the way back, and I get a «Well I’m not trying to shift blame or anything, but…,» «well technically when you say plain for that particular sandwich…» Listen, when I said «meat and bread only,» that’s exactly what I meant. Not who do I need to blame, or what jargon did I not use correctly. Then, they tell me it’ll be out in 15 minutes. 15 minutes? It’s not even top priority for you after I drove all the way here, drove back home, and drove back here after you messed up my order?
Never again Mugshots. Your subpar service and repeated mistakes haven’t driven me away before, but this experience certainly has.

Oh Mugshots! Great staff, delicious burgers. I asked for a lettuce wrapped burger due to a food allergy. Had an enjoyable experience there. Wish that I lived closer!

I was lucky and had the chance able to stop here on a road trip and I only wish I lived closer… The food is so good! I want to try all the burgers and entrees on the menu! The staff is so nice too! I was able to sit at the bar and get to know one of the bartenders, Riley. He’s so attentive and sweet! Just amazing and friendly, also makes the best drinks!
I’m still hopeful that I’ll return here one day, because not trying more than just a basic bacon cheeseburger may have been a huge mistake! If you live close by here, why haven’t you been yet? And if you’re just passing through, why don’t you stop here? The restaurant is located right by a ton of hotels and shops too.
Definitely recommend! Try the burgers, they’ve won awards for being the best in Mississippi for the last few years!

The first time I ever went to mugshots was in Tuscaloosa. I have also been to the original one in Hattiesburg ms. I always get the all American burger or the peanut butter burger. I know it sounds bizarre but believe me you won’t believe what you taste. I have also had the wings. They are great size. The most recent time I came I had the mac and cheese burger, which is a patty with mac and cheese on top which is sandwiched between two whole grilled cheese sandwiches. Holy cow! It blew away my expectations.

Just ate one the best burgers ever! The breakfast burger was cooked perfectly, smoky juicy ground steak and just right egg on top.

Staying at a nearby hotel, I was surprised when the hotel suggested Mugshots over other sports bar (Hooters & B-​Dubs) within walking distance. Turns out, Mugshots is an incredible sports bar with amazing food.
The wall of TV’s is on par with any sports bar, and the Cajun chicken sandwich I ordered was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. The bread they use is amazingly fresh and the portion size is huge. The fries are also delicious. I would suggest Mugshots to anyone hungry for a great meal or looking to watch a game with a beer (They have over 20 on tap). Thank you, Mugshots!

Best veggie burger in town and the fries are straight from a kitchen in heaven.

Perfect place to watch a game or grab a burger and beer before or after a movie at the cineplex, which is just feet away across the parking lot. Also ate at Mugshots in Gulfport, Miss., and had great time there as well. It’s big and noisy, just what you hope a place like this will be.

Food is great and is very family friendly during the day. I have two small children and I don’t feel bad about bringing them here. I can watch golf, football, or whatever and don’t have to worry about kids making too much noise.
You can also come back at night and the bar is great and more adult oriented. Great place. The burgers are amazing.
