My friend and I went for pedicures today and we both were pretty disappointed. The facility is beautiful, but the chairs are terribly uncomfortable. We paid for an upgraded pedi and definitely did not gain value for the extra expense. The girls were both very sweet, but the actual pedi left a bit to be desired!

I was a little disappointed in my experience. I had a gift certificate for an hour massage. The appt was scheduled for 1:30, the girl took me up to the room, had me undress, and by the time she came back to start the massage, it was 1:45– I would have thought that it would have lasted until 2:45, since it was supposed to be an hour long. wrong. it was over at 2:30. so essentially I missed out on 15 minutes of my massage. While she did a good job, I don’t feel like I got the full amount of what was paid for. And when I went to «pay» at the end, the girl at the desk seemed clueless. They were all very friendly, I was just somewhat disappointed with the experience.

This is a gorgeous setting for a salon, but I’m really on the fence with service. My husband had a fantastic massage there but when I went for an updo for a wedding, I wasn’t pleased. It was expensive and looked like something I could have done myself. I would recommend this place for massage and other spa services, but not necessarily for special occasions.

Amazing experience! Got a mani pedi and spray tan for a great price! Staff is so polite and they have the cutest salon and spa! This would be great for a bridal party, birthdays or anything!!! BESTSALON/SPA IVEEVERBEENTO!

I love this salon. I am a client of both Ashley and Tracy and get superb results every time with my cut and color. It’s never a rushed job, and ample time is taken to consult about what you’d like to have done. I also like the rustic yet classy interior décor.

There is a wonderful young woman named Jessica at this salon that is as sweet and talented as they come. She has been cutting my hair for a while now and each time the cut has been great. She takes the appropriate amount of time to consult with me on how the cut is working for me and shares tips on product and styling that has worked amazingly well. Very pleased and will continue to go back. I have also had a mani/pedi here and they did an exceptional job :) absolutely no complaints!

I’ve gone to Joanna for a while now and I love her! I always love my haircut once I leave and can’t wait to come back. The atmosphere is very nice. They have coffee and tea as well as magazines to read plus a great selection of nail polish. I love product and nail polish. I’ve also had a manicure and pedicure here. Both were wonderful. I took a friend for her birthday and we both had a great time. There is a private area for pedicures and manicures so you don’t have a lot of traffic from the hair cutting area. They also do great specials and promotions. I love this place and will continue to go for a long time.

This place provided great services, but very poor customer service when it came time for payment. My brother received a gift certificate for Christmas 2009. Written on it was«½ facial, manicure, hideaway pedicure, deep tissue massage». He gave it to me because he wasn’t going to use it. I’ve got a very nice brother! There was no expiration date, no disclosure, nothing that said«subject to pricing changes», etc. I called to make sure it was transferable(it was) and that I could upgrade the men’s manicure to a women’s. According to their site it was an extra $ 2 and when I scheduled my services they said it was fine, I’d just pay the extra $ 2. The massage with Debbie was the best I’ve had, she didn’t talk too much and she did a great job. The other services I had were great too and the place is beautiful. Very rustic looking, not a typical fancy salon, but cute all the same. When I went to pay at the end the girl told me my total and it was around $ 175. I gave her the gift certificate and told her I was just supposed to pay for the difference in manicure prices. She looked in their gift certificate book and written next to this particular gift certificate was the amount of $ 127.20. She told me I’d be paying the difference. I tried to explain that it was a gift certificate for services, not a dollar amount and she told me their pricing had changed since the gift certificate was purchased and I was responsible for the difference. NEWSTOME! They looked up the gift certificate when I called and should have told me then of any issue with redemption of the gift certificate. I was told to pay the difference and call a manager on Monday. The girls were tipped accordingly, it wasn’t their fault this place had no idea what to do when it came to gift certificates. I called Monday and spoke with a manager. She told me she’d have to look into it and maybe it was a gift certificate for a dollar amount and not a service. I told her«No, no one buys a gift certificate for $ 127». She called me back and agreed to refund all but the sales tax. which was around $ 10 with a salon credit or back on my card. Seeing as I’d NEVER go back I took the credit on my card. This still makes no sense to me, as a gift certificate for a service should include ALL charges, with the exception of a tip. I had to go back after work and get the charge taken off. The lady kept apologizing but the whole thing never should have happened. I was actually thinking of buying a gift certificate for my friend, as she is getting married and it would be a nice surprise; however, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, let alone buy anything. The whole POINT of buying a package is so that there is a discount on individual services when you group them together. Apparently, this is not as obvious to Beginnings as it is to the common consumer. If I had purchased a gift certificate for someone and they ended up being charged nearly $ 50 I would be mortified and so should the staff at Beginnings. Never will I return. It shall hence forth be known as ENDINGS.
