I love this place. The owner is super friendly and is there from open to close everyday; which shows his dedication and love for his business. His pizzas are excellent and their crust actually comes out done instead of doughy like most other places. Don’t let the appearance of the place throw you off, it may not be the fanciest place to eat but it is worth your time to try it.

Best pie in town, the XL is the ideal NY slice. I get mine with extra oregano but any of the toppings are on point. I can also vouch for the speedy prep time for takeout/​delivery, cheesesteaks, and overall bang-​for-​buck.

This place is ghetto. They have so little business that there is a lounge chair in the eating area for the owner to enjoy the TV. I’m guessing that the Asian family that now owns this place is hoping to make good Italian food, but it is a total fail. The Asian fellow who took our order didn’t even know the menu and barely understood what we were asking. I think he was watching AMC movies with subtitles to learn English. I know this sounds harsh, but it is an accurate discription of what I saw. Food was terrible, pizza and philly cheese steak.

Very, very friendly service. Ordered through the phone and the girl was super polite and nice. The time we waited was the average 40 – 45 minutes. We ordered the special with a Philly cheese steak with fries and a can of soda, that was pretty good for the price which was $ 7 all together. The pizza dough is chewy, even after a day old and microwaved, it’s still good as new. The mild wings sauce was tangy and perfect. I’m giving 4 stars because the other time I ordered, they forgot my fries, and I had to wait another 40 minutes for it to be delivered. Which was bummed me out because i was full by then. Other than that, the food, service and prices are great.

While staying at the Country Inn and Suites, we Googled a local eatery w/​delivery. Food was good and delivered to our room in a timely manner. We called our order in, and it was cheaper than online ordering. Appetizer portions were meal size. Great value for the amount of food you get!

In town for business after an exhausting drive I asked the hotel who had the best delivery and the answer was Anthony’s. Just ordered a Philly steak pizza with mushrooms but it was without question one if the best pies I’ve had in a long time. Delivery was fast and the price was fair. Next time I’m in Harrisonburg I’ll be sure to try something else.

There’s not a lot of pizza options in Harrisonburg. And by not many, I mean a thousand. However, unless you are going «out to eat» and care about the atmosphere, Anthony’s is definitely the best (and the best deal).
The pizza is NY style and very affordable as opposed to Chanellos which will make you take a long look at your life if you eat it sober (not that anyone ever does). Also better than any other chains if you are looking to order, or do pickup.
I recommend the cheesesteak (as a non-​philly person I get LTMOP) but not the deli sandwiches.

I came here on the strength of a previous review. The pizza was certainly OK, but nothing worth going out of my way for. One real positive is that it is inexpensive. I had a small pizza and a drink for less than $ 8.
I would definitely not suggest eating-​in here. You are basically in a large kitchen with 3 tables for guests. They seem to be more for people waiting for pizza than for eating. There were no plates offered and no silverware. Delivery is probably the best option.
